In the article are given results concerning main morphometric characteristics of immunogenesis organs in “Pharaon” breed of quails of industrial raising during different periods of postnatal ontogenesis. It is established that highest numeric values of relative mass index and thymus, Fabricius bursa, spleen of quail species «Pharaoh» in 5 days age. It was found that the vast mass of the thymus quail increased to 33 days of life, Fabricius bursa – up to 53 days of life and spleen – up to 240 days of life. It was established that with the egg (53 and 75 day life) and 240–day old quail in the relative weight and thymus index decreased five times (p < 0,01 – 0,001) seminary Fabricius bursa – three times (p < 0,05 – 0,01). It was investigated that the relative reduction of mass and spleen index in three quails from 20 to 240 days of life. The data indicate a change of immunological reactivity quail in different age periods, especially in the productive oviparous period and the beginning age involution of the thymus, Fabricius bursa. The possible reduction of the seminary index below 1.0 in quails from 75 to 240 days of life may indicate suppression of B–immunity, that reduce the formation of B – lymphocytes. The reduction of the relative weight and spleen index quail tripled from 20 to 240 days of life on the background of declining same period of the thymus and Fabricius bursa may indicate a compensatory reduction of the organism poultry.

In lymph nodes, as peripheral organs of the immune system, the patterns of their growth and development are unique in many ways, especially during the prenatal period of ontogenesis. The changes in the absolute and relative mass of lymph nodes in 66 bovine fetuses of different gestational ages (2–9 months) were studied. The weight of the fetuses and organs was determined with an accuracy of 0.001 g. According to the indicators of weight, body length, and the degree of development of the fetal skin derivatives, their age was established. It was found that in the first third of the fetal period of ontogenesis, the dynamics of the lymph nodes’ absolute mass was characterized by a moderate increase, which occurred simultaneously with an increase in the weight of the fetus itself. The relative weight at the beginning of the fetal period changed unevenly: it decreased in the superficial cervical and mandibular and increased in the popliteal and caudal mediastinal lymph nodes. In the second third of the fetal period, both the absolute and the relative weight of the examined organs increased dramatically (with the maximum at 7 months-old age). During the last third of the fetal period, a gradual increase in the absolute mass of all lymph nodes was found, and their relative mass, on the contrary, decreased moderately. In the second and last third of prenatal development, there was no direct relationship between the growth of the lymph nodes mass and the fetal total mass.

The article focuses on the intensive anthropogenic impact on the aquatic ecosystems, which makes it necessary to monitor the populations of different fish species. The method of mor-phophysiological indicators was used to study the kidneys of silver bream in different water bodies of the Volga Delta. The morphometric characteristics of the kidneys of silver bream are presented. It is shown that the reactions of organs and body systems are caused by the environmental impact on the living organisms, which results, in particular, in the pathological changes in the fish body. Reactions in the body of fish are the result of a combined effect of environmental factors and natural physiological processes related to feeding, migrations, generative cycles, etc. The detected changes in the organ structure make it possible to assess the impact of the environment on fish. The seasonal and sexual variability of the indices of the mesonephros of silver bream from the Volga Delta is shown. Analysis of the kidneys of fish from two water bodies showed the variability of kidney mass due to the anthropogenic load on the water body, in particular, an increase in the kidney index in silver bream Blicca bjoerkna was registered in the ecosystem with an increased toxic load. It has been stated that the increase in the relative mass of mesonephros was caused by the changes in the organ. Changes were detected both in the intratubular tissue, and in the convoluted tubules and renal capsules. The study helped to find the differences in the relative weight and structure of the kidneys of silver bream, which lives in the water bodies with different anthropogenic load. A real increase of the kidney index was found in fish from the water body with a higher level of anthropogenic impact.

The study of the functional state of immunogenesis young ducks during critical periods of growth and development is important for breeding and keeping birds of this species in view of improving the system of evaluation of the immune status of the organism. Such approaches make it possible to warn the development of immunodeficiencies body ducks develop improved feeding schemes to improve capacity performance. In the article are given results of the study of the functional state of the clinically healthy young duck's thymus, bursa Fabricius, spleen in critical periods of postnatal ontogenesis, whose were grown in conditions of Myklashiv farms of Pustomyty district, Lviv region. It is established the increasing of duck's absolute mass of immunogenesis organs on a background of reducing the relative weight and index. However, the functioning of immunogenesis ducklings in critical periods of growth and development of the actual numerical values indicating the relative weight and index. Pronounced changes in the index of immunogenesis observed on the border between 14 and 21 ducklings era of life that can be isolated as one of the critical periods of postnatal ontogenesis immunological this type of bird. The result is the index of thymus, bursa Fabricius, spleen ducklings who are within the physiological norm, show active progress imunomorfolohichnyh specific immune responses in these organs. At sufficiently high index seminary and reduced spleen index can prevent the development of adaptive-compensatory reactions B immunity and lack of imunodefitstnoho state body ducklings 45-day age.

Improving dynamic performance is a priority when designing new rolling stock. The frequency of natural bending vibrations of the body is one of the most important standardised indicators, a preliminary assessment of which allows obtaining optimal body designs. The objective of the work is to assess the prospects for the use of elastic fastenings of equipment to increase the natural vibration frequency of wagon bodies of suburban electric trains. Calculations were based on the finite element method and block Lanczos method. It is shown that it is advisable to use the rigid area tool and linearly elastic finite elements to calculate the frequencies in the simulation. The main ranges of fastening stiffness are highlighted, where the effect of using elastic supports is different. It is proposed to determine the stiffness of fastenings according to a given vibration frequency of the equipment. When the equipment is rigidly attached, the relative mass of the equipment does not affect the body bending vibration frequency. With elastic fastening, a greater effect can be achieved with a larger relative weight of the equipment. The effect of using resilient mounts increases with heavier equipment located closer to the centre of the body.It is shown that the effect of shear admittance of fastenings on the body vibration frequency is within 1 % and may not be considered in the simulation. In the considered example of a wagon body of a suburban electric train, the use of elastic supports allows an increase in the frequency of oscillations of the body by 3–10 %.

BACKGROUND: The proportion of T and B lymphocytes in pleural fluids and blood may point to the presence of local immunological phenomena in pleural disorders.AIM: Aim of study was to evaluate the lymphocyte phenotype and the ratio between helper (CD4+) and cytotoxic/suppressor (CD8+) lymphocytes in malignant and non-malignant effusions.MATERIAL AND METHODS: We studied 48 patients with pleural effusions. First group had 18 patients with tuberculosis pleural effusions; second group had 20 patients with malignant pleural fluids, third group had 10 patients with transudates and 30 healthy controls. We investigated the distribution of T and B lymphocytes, T cells with helper/inducer CD4 or suppresser/cytotoxic CD8 phenotypes and the CD16 subset.RESULTS: Results showed decreases levels of CD3, CD4, and CD16 T cells in blood of patients versus healthy controls. There were increases in the percentage of the CD3 and CD4 T cells in the pleural fluid compared with values in the blood with statistical significance in tuberculous pleurisy. The values of CD8 were similar in the pleural fluid and in blood. Levels of CD16 were non-significantly higher in pleural fluid in all groups.CONCLUSION: This study confirms the hypothesis that pleural cavity is compartment with immunological reactivity and results could be used in differential diagnosis together with other examinations.

Introduction. Stress disorders are common in clinical practice, and their treatment requires selective medication choice. Among the drugs having anxiolytic and sedative effects, glycine and magnesium compounds are being intensively investigated and the options of producing sublingual tablets based on these substances seem to be promising. The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of glycine and magnesium citrate and their combination on glycine and magnesium citrate on somatic parameters (Selye's triad) under the stress conditions and to determine the most effective composition of the compounds. Materials and methods. The experiments were carried out on 76 white rats. The substances were administered sublingually and then the animals were kept in the small cages for 6 hours in order to simulate immobilization stress. At the end of the stress exposure, the rats were euthanized and the relative masses of the thymus and adrenal glands as well as a presence of ulcers and haemorrhages in the stomach were determined. Statistical processing was performed using the Statistica for Windows 8.0 software. Results and discussion. Immobilization stress resulted in a decrease in the relative weight of the thymus in the rats without significant changes in the weight of the adrenal glands and intense ulceration in the stomach. Prophylactic use of the compounds under the study and their combinations prevented the stress-induced involution of the thymus. The most pronounced protective effect was demonstrated by the combination of 100 mg glycine and 250 mg magnesium citrate and glycine itself. At the same time, the relative mass of the adrenal glands did not change significantly. The lowest incidence of ulcerative lesions was observed in the groups of animals who received the combinations of glycine (100 mg) and magnesium citrate (250-350 mg) or glycine (100 mg) separately. This scheme leads to a decrease in the number and area of gastric ulcers as compared to the control group. Magnesium citrate in doses of 250 mg and 350 mg was found not as effective in protecting the gastric mucosa. Conclusion. Acute immobilization stress causes involution of the thymus and gastric ulceration, but does not result in adrenal hypertrophy. According to the findings obtained by the Selye triad study, a combination of 100 mg glycine and 250 mg magnesium citrate and glycine separately in a dose of 100 mg have showed the highest prophylactic effect.

The article focuses on the study of changeability of morphological and physiological characteristics of 850 specimens of beluga ( Huso huso ) and sturgeon ( Acipenser gueldenstaedtii ) juveniles obtained at the Ikryaninskiy and Bertyulskiy sturgeon hatcheries in the Astrakhan region. There was determined weight of the body, heart, liver and spleen, as well as the relative mass of these organs - cardiosomatic, hepatosomatic indices and index of a spleen. Sturgeon juveniles were studied within 47-127 days, beluga juveniles within 40-116 days. Certain tendency was noted: cardiosomatic index decreased with aging in both sturgeon and beluga, i.e. the relative weight of the heart in ontogenesis changes inversely to the body weight, which corresponds to literature data. Comparison of the dynamics of the liver relative weight in sturgeon and beluga juveniles showed that it coincides at two segments: maximum raise to 50-60ths day from the birth and a gradual decrease in older juveniles. The value of spleen index in juveniles of both types rose with aging. It was found in the course of the study that the size of internal organs could change, getting smaller under unfavorable factors, in particular, when juveniles suffer from the lack of feeds. In such circumstances the dynamics of developing main internal organs drastically slows down, which reflects on physiological adequacy (quality) of juveniles. Thus, morphological and physiological indicators characterizing the degree of the vitals development can be used not only for characterizing species differences of the investigated group of fish at all stages of ontogenesis, but as important factor for assessing conditions of Russian sturgeons juvenile breeding and the degree of morphological and physiological maturity of the juveniles before releasing into the natural water body.

B-lymphocytes normally synthesize small amounts of immunoglobulin, some of which is incorporated into the cell membrane where it serves as receptor of antigen. These cells, on contact with specific antigen, proliferate and differentiate to plasma cells which synthesize and secrete large quantities of immunoglobulin. The two stages of differentiation of this cell line (generation of B-lymphocytes and antigen-driven maturation to plasma cells) are clearly separable during ontogeny and in some immune deficiency diseases. The present report describes morphologic aberrations of B-lymphocytes in two diseases in which second stage differentiation is defective.
