Wearable devices now make it possible to record large quantities of physiological data, which can be used to obtain a clearer view of a person’s health status and behavior. However, to the best of our knowledge, there are no open datasets in the literature that provide psycho-physiological data. The Multilevel Monitoring of Activity and Sleep in Healthy people (MMASH) dataset presented in this paper provides 24 h of continuous psycho-physiological data, that is, inter-beat intervals data, heart rate data, wrist accelerometry data, sleep quality index, physical activity (i.e., number of steps per second), psychological characteristics (e.g., anxiety status, stressful events, and emotion declaration), and sleep hormone levels for 22 participants. The MMASH dataset will enable the investigation of possible relationships between the physical and psychological characteristics of people in daily life. Data were validated through different analyses that showed their compatibility with the literature.

The article is devoted to the use of the method of cinemalogy in the work of an educational psychologist with minor suspects, accused persons, defendants, recognized, in the case and under the terms set out in the criminal procedure legislation and the specifics of its application. The purpose of the study is to determine the possibilities and psychological and pedagogical conditions for using the method of cinemalogy in psychocorrection work with underage suspects, accused persons, and defendants. The following research methods were used in the article: analysis of scientific psychological and pedagogical literature, normative legal documents, study of the resources of educational Internet portals. As a result of the study, an effective method of working with underage suspects, accused persons, and defendants was identified, and the factors of the formation of criminal behavior of underage children (heredity, social environment, and intrapersonal factors) were clarified. Based on the study of the psychological characteristics of underage suspects, accused persons, and defendants, the reasons for the commission of illegal actions (the desire for self-affirmation, to gain authority among peers, imitation of authority, the desire to obtain the forbidden, forbidden) are determined. The article offers methodological recommendations for organizing training sessions with underage suspects, accused persons, and defendants. It is concluded that an important condition for the psychocorrection of these categories of minors is the work with psychoemotional states, situations that have a psychotraumatic effect on them, the correction of their thoughts and behavior. In our opinion, it is the method of cinemalogy that contributes to solving these problems, as well as changing criminal attitudes.

The character has become a central aspect of education. It has given much more influence on the success of education in the nation. The term character is defined as an individual’s set of psychological characteristics that affect a person’s ability and inclination to function morally. It is comprised of those characteristics that lead a person to do or not to do the right thing. Numerous character values in education have been discussed and proposed by experts. One of them is honesty which significantly affects learners’ attitudes and behavior to do an act properly. Building a character of honesty in language learning can be done in many ways. One of them is through scientific writing. Writing is not only about “what” and: how” to write. Further, it deals with academic honesty which requires students to behave following character values. At this point, the issue of plagiarism should come into attention to build students’ characters. This paper aims to discuss how scientific writing promotes character building, especially in language learning.

Environmental psychology is a particular area or subfield of psychology, especially involved in the delimitation of the causes and solutions of environmental problems. This area deals with the study of the interactions between human behavior and the socio-physical components of the environment. The emphasis on the interrelationship of environment and behavior is important; not only physical settings affect people’s behavior, individuals actively influence the environment. Thus, several studies have proposed the existence of a series of predispositions which allow the appreciation of diversity and the interdependence of person–environment relationships, making it possible to adopt lifestyles that can guarantee the sustainability of socio-ecological systems for present and future generations. Therefore, in order to work towards the goals of sustainability, it is necessary to know which are the inclinations or dispositions that people present when caring for the environment. The objective of this research was to identify the association between the variables of psychosocial predispositions towards sustainability with environmental identity in a sample of higher education students from southern Sonora. Nine different scales to measure these predispositions were applied to 417 students, considering emotions towards the environment, environmental and socio-environmental actions, as well as a scale to measure environmental identity. Results revealed, on the one hand, that first-order factors emerged consistently, indicating the presence of a higher-order factor (psychosocial predispositions towards sustainability). On the other hand, we found this construct is related in a bidirectional way with environmental identity, that is, that both the emotions and actions carried out by the students in favor of the environment are related to the degree of identification they have with it, and vice versa, thereby demonstrating an interdependence relationship between these two variables. These findings suggest that the presence of certain psychological characteristics in people would promote a closer relationship with nature, which could encourage participation in caring for the environment.

The article discusses the methods of anesthetization of the image of androgyne as one of the ways of androgynization of modern culture. A modern understanding of the phenomenon of androgyny is mainly considered in the context of gender identity. It is based on the psychological concept of Sandra Bem that has proved that a person, regardless of his or her biological sex, is able to combine feminine and masculine psychological characteristics and behavior models. That allows them to become more adaptive in society and act as efficiently as possible, choosing exactly what qualities to show depending on the situation. Some studies have noticed the dominance of the androgynous type among the youth, which possibly indicates the intensification of the androgynization process in modern society. Androgynization goes at various social and cultural levels: professional, economic, cultural, psychological and pedagogical. Moreover, some researchers observe the trend of formation of androgynous gender identity type. They also consider the process of androgynization in line with the civilizational approach. The present study focuses on analyzing one of the aspects of this global androgynization process — the effect of an art cinema work on the positive reception of androgyny in society through modeling of an aesthetically attractive androgynous image. As an illustration the author chose an image of the main hero in «Orlando» movie (1992) directed by Sally Potter.

Personality coherence is an individual difference capturing the extent to which a person’s psychological characteristics are coordinated, unified, and integrated. The present research addressed the extent to which coherence indicators inter-correlate and predict relevant outcomes over and above the effects of the Big Five among midlife adults ( N = 446). Coherence indicators loaded onto four components: actor coherence, which captured the extent to which people were consistent in their interpersonal values, traits, and behavior; agent coherence, which captured the extent to which people’s goals were coordinated and need-congruent; author coherence, which captured the extent to which people’s self-defining stories were well composed and theme laden; and controlled coherence, which captured the extent to which people experienced their goals as pressured or compelled and as leading them to need-detracting futures. Although actor coherence correlated with both agent and author coherence, agent and author coherence were not correlated. Nevertheless, the actor-, agent-, and author-coherence composites each predicted at least one of the outcome variables (i.e., well-being, autonomy, and ego development) over and above the Big Five. The present findings suggest that the coherence of personality constitutes an individual difference domain of consequence beyond the established content dimensions of personality.

The possibilities and limitations of information-psychological campaigns to change perceptions and behavior of people in the situation of pandemic were considered in the article. The analysis of effectiveness of various tactics of psychological influence used in current conditions was carried out. Tactics based on activation of feelings of empathy and care about others showed the most efficiency. In addition, such tactics as appeals to fear, emphasis on sense of duty, reference to self-interest and personal gain were also successful. The following variables affected the effectiveness of the impact: the stage of the pandemic, socio-demographic and individual psychological characteristics of the people affected. Several groups of factors were identified as influencing the implementation of behavioral recommendations for protection against infection and shaping an adequate representation of the pandemic. This list included: stable individual psychological characteristics (personality traits, coping strategies, cognitive features, values), dynamic characteristics (emotional state and level of stress), and perception of the pandemic situation (risk assessment, threat experience, sense of control over the situation, etc.). Maintaining and tracking the dynamics of these factors were important for effective information campaigns. The possibilities of social networks as channels of informational and psychological impact were considered. The perspectives of monitoring social networks for assessment of people's psychological state and perception of risks to improve the effectiveness of communication during the epidemiological situation were outlined. The problem of distribution of false information as an inevitable phenomenon in a crisis, which had a negative impact on the emotional state and behavior of people, was considered.
