The properties of the adhesive VKR-85 recommended for gluing rubbers, rubber fabric materials bands together and gluing them to metals during the vulcanization process are given. It is shown for which types of rubbers the adhesive can be used, performance of adhesive joints under the influence of various factors. A comparison of the properties of the adhesive joints based on adhesive VKR-85 with adhesives of a similar purpose – Leuconate and Desmodur RE is given. Adhesive joints strength made with adhesive VKR-85 is higher than strength of the bonded rubber.

Three kinds of knitted fabrics with high shape retention capacity equipment LONG-XING SM 252 (China) 12-grade flat needle loom were produced, their technological characteristics were compared, and graphical records were supplied in this article based on experimental samples of knitted rubber fabric. The developed variants of knitted fabric differ from each other in pattern type, report, shape retention feature and a number of other indicators. Physical and mechanical properties of the obtained samples were determined experimentally on modern equipment installed in the testing laboratory of the Namangan Institute of Engineering Technology.

Marine debris is a type of pollutant that commonly found in the mangrove ecosystem. A study aims to investigate the composition, amount and oceanographic parameters that influence the presence of marine debris in Mengkapan mangrove ecotourism area has been conducted from June to August 2018. A survey method was used in this study. Sampling was done three times (once/ two weeks) in 3 observation stations. There were 3 stations namely S1 (settlement area), S2 (ecotourism area) and S3 (port area). Marine debris were collected from 3 plots (10 x 10 m) placed along the transect line. Results shown that the types of marine debris found in the observation area were plastic, glass, rubber, fabric, styrofoam, nets, cans, and paper. The most common debris found is plastic (2,603 items/m2). Total amount of marine debris in the Mengkapan area is 3,232 items/m2 (18.497 grams/m2). Macrodebris is the most common debris found.

Marine debris is a type of pollutant that commonly found in the mangrove ecosystems. A research aims to determine the composition and density of marine debris in the mangrove ecosystem of the Sungai Rawa Village was conducted in June - July 2018. A survey method was used in this study. Samplings were done three times (once / 2 weeks) at 3 stations namely S1 (ecotourism area), S2 (natural mangrove forest) and S3 (port area and settlement area). Marine debris were collected from 3 plots (10 x 10 m) placed along the transect line. The type of marine debris found in the mangrove ecosystem consists of plastic, glass, rubber, fabric, styrofoam, nets, cans, wood, steel and paper. The density of marine debris based on its characteristics are: megadebris (0.01 - 0.04 items/m2; 4.61 - 34.67 grams/m2), macrodebris (1.43 - 4.75 items/m2; 249.19 - 724.53 grams/m2), mesodebris (0.79 - 2.20 items/m2; 1.54 - 3.23 grams/m2). The most common marine debris found is plastic (69.27 %) and styrofoam (15.65 %).

The article presents analytical dependences for the maximum permissible bending radius of the conveyor belt in the longitudinal direction, in which the shape of the gutter is lost in areas with low tension, depending on the design and physical and mechanical properties of the belt. The results of calculations based on these dependencies for a number of modern rubber-fabric and rubber-rope belts are presented. The results obtained can be applied to determine the minimum allowable belt tension and the maximum allowable belt deflection, which usually occur in the loading zone of the conveyor and are the starting value when constructing a tension diagram in the process of traction calculation of the conveyor. They are also useful for determining the parameters of transition sections of conveyor belts.

ABSTRACT The effect of p-tert-Butylcalix[4]arene on rubber-nylon-6 fabric and rubber-metal bead wire adhesion strength was quantified. For this purpose, two typically used rubber compounds were employed for two reinforcing motorcycle tire components: ply and bead. The standard pull-out tests of rubber–fabric and rubber–metal showed improvements in adhesion strength by incorporating p-tert-Butylcalix[4]arene into rubber compounds. However, the maximum values of adhesion force to pull the polyamide fabrics and brass-coated metal wires out of the rubber compounds were observed when only 1.0 phr of p-tert-Butylcalix[4]arene was used. The adhesion performance of both fabric and metal wire decreased with higher loading amounts of p-tert-Butylcalix[4]arene. The effect of a commercial phenolic tackifying resin was also evaluated in bead compound. Very similar adhesion results to p-tert-Butylcalix[4]arene were obtained when using 1.0 phr phenolic resin.

This paper provides the results of the studies of polymer-bitumen sealing compounds for sealing seams and cracks in asphalt con-crete road. The polymers used were waste from Krasnoyarsk factories (rubber-fabric and butyl-rubber crumbs) and Tomsk factories (polyethylene waste and atactic polypropylene). Here we formulate the basic require-ments for sealing compounds applied in the Siberian regions. An experi-ment has been carried out with the use of the planning method, we pre-pared the compounds and determined their basic properties, as well as plot-ted the isolines of the compounds’ properties depending on the proportion-ing of mineral powder and polymer waste. Based on the analysis of the iso-lines and comparing the properties with the requirements, we selected the optimal compositions of the prepared sealing compounds and defined their core indicators. As a result of the research, the mastic based on butyl-rubber crumbs was chosen as the one meeting all the requirements by all the indicators. This paper reflects the results of the test surveys on pouring cracks in the road surface of Krasnoyarsk. The developed sealing com-pound has been adopted in production on the roads of Krasnoyarsk Territo-ry.

Wasted Truck Tyres can be used as an alternative for concrete coarse aggregate. The used tyres of truck are properly cutted and different ratios can be added to concrete blocks. The main components of modern tyres are synthetic rubber, natural rubber, fabric and wire, along with carbon black and chemical compounds.  In  the present paper, Truck Tyres are used  as conventional  coarse  aggregate  in  concrete  for  high  strength  (M50 Grade) concrete for every incremental of 25% replacement up to 100% is done. Slump cone test, Vee-Bee consistometer test and Compaction factor test are conducted to find freshness of concrete. The concrete is casted in cubes to harden it, tests such as compressive strength, cylinders for split tensile strength and prisms for flexural strength for 7days, 14days and 28days curing are done. The results obtained are compared with conventional coarse aggregate (0% replacement) concrete.

The article deals with the advantages of special types of conveyors and, in particular, the sandwich belt high-angle conveyors, and also several problems appearing when designing and creating high-productive installations under high conveying angle and to considerable height. Processes of overstrain of separate sections of the belt and also considerable deformations of edges and the middle of the belt are established in the article. It is shown that an effective method of the solution of such tasks is the modeling of strain deformed state of belts with utilization of methods and the software application of the ANSYS complex. Decision examples for separate sections are given in the article too. The role of elastic properties of the belts and their durability when basing parameters of the considered sections is proved in the article. It is shown that modern rubber fabric and rubber cable belts give the chance of creation of powerful conveyor installations with a cover belt for large conveying angles and high productivity.
