The effective sectional area concept was adopted to conduct the analysis of cold-formed Tension members. ANSYS software was utilized to simulate the behavior of cold-formed steel angle under tension load. The paper describes the results from a finite element investigation into the load capacity tension members of single angle sections of 1.5,.1.6,2 3,4 mm and double angles sections of 2mm under plain (without Lipped) and with Lipped conditions subjected to tension. Numerical investigations were carried out using finite element software ANSYS. In order to simulate the experimental behavior using the analytical model, material non-linearity’s and geometric nonlinearity’s were incorporated. The ultimate strength for cross – sectional dimensions with varying eccentricity loads under tension loading conditions was achieved through the ANSYS 15.0 workbench. In the numerical investigation, 180 specimens were modeled on tensioning elements attached to bolts. To find equivalent stress, equivalent elastic strain and total deformation of single and double-angle sections were investigated.

The analysis presented in this paper is focused on problems of bond strength as an overall bond quality parameter of industrial adhesives for structural anchoring. In the first part, the problem of bond strength as the most important parameter influencing the final anchor resistance to tension load is described. Further in the text, a new methodology of simplified testing of the strength parameters of adhesives is described. Special test specimens made from steel are repeatedly used in this methodology. Additionally, results of these tests on some new recipes for adhesive are presented. Especially, epoxy resins with special fillers, such as carbon fibres, carbon nanotubes or graphene, were tested. The use of these adhesives in temperatures close to zero degrees Celsius was also tested.

BACKGROUND: Lip closing functions have never been evaluated from the viewpoint of elastic properties. OBJECTIVES: The purpose of the present study was to investigate the behavior of the lower orbicularis oris muscle during a button-pull exercise to measure lip closing force and quantitatively evaluate its elastic properties using sonographic elastography. METHODS: Appropriate compression loads for elastography were randomly measured on one of three types of acoustic couplers on three examiners. Compression tests were performed on three types of acoustic couplers within the appropriate compression load. Using the acoustic coupler with the lowest elastic modulus, the strain ratio of the lower orbicularis oris muscle during lip closing was measured, and elastography was performed on six males under tension loads of 0–8 N. RESULTS: The intraclass correlation coefficient (1, 3) for the tension load of 0 N was 0.81. Elastography showed that the strain ratio values increased significantly (p < 0.05) as the tension load increased. CONCLUSIONS: Combining the data obtained from lip closing test devices and sonographic elastography enabled the muscle performance to be evaluated objectively and accurately.

In the last ten years, the number of buildings in Bosnia and Herzegovina that is carried out with underground floors has been steadily increasing. An additional useful area that comes with underground floors brings with it a number of technical problems. In addition to securing the construction pit, the most common problem with such facilities is groundwater problems. One of the problems that arise from the action of groundwater is the load on the base plate to the uplift. In the case of an object, or part of an object, which is fewer floors, then this part of the building may cause elevation as a result of the action of the hydrostatic pressure. This paper will analyze the residential and business building in Banja Luka, which consists of two high parts and a floor part. The part of the building consists of only two underground floors, and this part of the building is burdened with uplift and after the completion of all works. At the end of the paper, the results of computational analyses and field tests will be compared.
