ABSTRACT   The effort to manifest the growing church in the ministry of every servant of God is a calling as well as a demand for every servant of God in their ministry. However, not a few have failed in this case due to several factors. Some of these factors come from outside the church, but some come from within the church itself. To deal with this, good management is needed to handle it. The purpose of this study was to determine the dynamics of church growth for the ministry of the Servant of the Gereja Kristen Setia Indonesia in the Karama Sector, Kalumpang sub-district, Mamuju district, West Sulawesi. The approach used is observation with the interview method and providing outreach to the authorities then providing guidance to God's servants. As a result, there is a need for guidance for God's servants to uphold the dynamics of church growth both in quality and quantity towards the growth of congregational faith.   Key words: growth; Church; Coaching; Congregation   ABSTRAK   Upaya perwujudan gereja yang bertumbuh dalam pelayanan setiap hamba Tuhan merupakan panggilan sekaligus tuntutan bagi setiap hamba Tuhand alam pelayanan mereka.

A lot has been done in the research into information technologies for HR purposes. Beginning in the 1960- s, personnel management was an early candidate for office automation in payroll, benefits administration, and employee records holding (Ball, 2001). Typically, this information was stored in flat databases being interrogated via simple searching of key words. Growth in strategically focused HRM produced demands for information and communication developments in human resource information systems (HRIS). Growth in strategically focused HRM produced demands for information and communication developments in e-HRM. Empirical reports since then have indicated that the use of e-HRM has become more confident although still mainly for administrative purposes, and that e-HRM projects mainly remained technology-driven events, with the focus on the growing sophistication of information technology. As a result, in the first years in this field, e-HRM was subject to high failure rates and, today, the situation is little better (Bondarouk & Ruël, 2007; Keebler & Rhodes, 2002): While there have been periods during the last thirty years when human resource information systems have been more successful in the industry eye, there is no reason to think that it has become less serious. (Bondarouk & Rüel, 2007) The purpose of this article is to contribute to the discussion on the implementation of e-HRM in organizations by developing a contingency framework of what the organizational conditions are likely to support the process of adoption of one specific e-HRM application, e-performance management.

Lamb weights and daily gains from divergent genetic types of established purebreds, e.g., Dorset (D), Lincoln (L), Rambouillet (Ra), Suffolk (Su) and Targhee (T), and fecund-type breeds, e.g., Finnsheep (F) and Romanov (Ro), their reciprocal crosses and Suffolk sired specific cross Su(F × Ro) were evaluated. Also evaluated were lambs of the Outaouais (O) and Rideau (R) Arcott breeds and their reciprocal crosses, in addition to Synthetic I (½ F, ½ L), Synthetic II (½ D, ½ Ra) and Synthetic III (¼ F, ¼ L, ¼ D, ¼ Ra) populations. The established purebreds produced heavier lambs at birth and weaning, Arcott breed crosses gained weight more rapidly resulting in heavier lambs at 140 d, and fecund-type breeds produced lighter lambs (P < 0.05). In general, daily gains and lamb weights of all genetic types were similar, except that fecund-type breeds produced significantly lighter lambs. Lamb weights of T were most at birth, and Su at weaning and 140 d, while F lambs weighed the least (P < 0.05). Within established purebreds, Su weighed the most and D weighed the least, while L, Ra and T lambs were intermediate. Daily gains including weaning and 140-d weights of F and R cross lambs benefited from 7–9% heterosis, while the Arcott breed cross lambs not only benefited from 5–8% heterosis, but were comparable with Su lambs. At the same time, lamb performance of Su(F × Ro) was similar to the average of their parental breeds. Lambs of synthetic populations relative to the average of their respective parental breeds weighed 8–24% more at 140 d, suggesting heterosis retention. Key words: Growth, North American breeds, Finnsheep, Romanov, Arcotts, synthetic populations

Five corn-soybean-based diets were formulated to contain 0, 15, 20, 25, or 30% raw peas and fed for 35 d to ninety-six 21-d-old pigs. Raw peas were included at the expense of corn and soybean meal. Increasing levels of raw peas depressed daily gain (P = 0.07), feed intake (P = 0.04) from days 21 to 56. Specifically, pigs fed diet with 25% peas had 19 and 25% lower average daily gain (ADG) and average daily feed intake (ADFI), respectively, than pigs fed the diet with 0% peas. The body weight (BW) was also linearly reduced (P = 0.10) on day 56. However, diets did not affect feed efficiency. Key words: Growth performance, peas, pig

This paper presents the Port Blakely XT series, established in western Washington in the period 1948–1958. XT-1, 2 and 3 were designed to evaluate effects of repeated low thinning and extended harvest rotations. XT-7 compares the effects of different levels of removal on standing volume and wood quality.Periodic and mean annual increment trends have been examined for all four trials. Results from these trials indicate the extension of culmination of mean annual increment due to low thinning combined with extended rotations. Volume yield is reported for XT-1 and XT-2. The thinned plots reveal an increase in bole size and an increase in total harvested volume. Wood quality characteristics were measured in XT-1 and 7, evaluated for differences between thinned and non-thinned and compared to stands harvested at younger ages. Results indicate that extended rotations and low thinning increase the quantity of structural log grades when compared to stands harvested on shorter rotations.Such regimes should reduce conflicts between timber production and other values such as watershed, wildlife, and aesthetics and are particularly applicable to public ownership. Key words: growth and yield, mean annual increment, wood quality, alternative silviculture, extended rotations, low thinning

The water-soluble extracts were prepared from the tip sections of antlers of 4-yr-old wapiti stags, and the effect of extract on the growth of bovine skin fibroblasts in culture was examined. The results showed the presence of growth promoting factor(s) in the antler extract. The stimulation of cell growth was found to be dose dependent (P < 0.05). Key words: Growth factor, antler, wapiti, fibroblast

The purpose of this study was to compare serum growth hormone (GH), testosterone (T), cortisol (C) and whole blood lactate (L) responses to single set (1S) versus multiple set (3S) heavy-resistance exercise protocols. Eight recreationally weight-trained men completed two identical resistance exercise workouts (1S vs. 3S). Blood was obtained prexcerise (PRE), immediately postexercise (0P), and 5 min (5P), 15 min (15P), 30 min and 60 min (60P) postexercise and was analyzed for GH, T, C, and L levels. For 1S and 3S, GH, L, and T significantly increased from PRE to 0P and remained significantly elevated to 60P, except for 1S. For GH, T, and L, 3S showed significantly greater increases compared to 1S. For C, 3S and 1S were increased significantly from resting at 0P, 5P, and 15P; 3S increased compared to 1S at 5P, 15P and 30P. Higher volumes of total work produce significantly greater increases in circulating anabolic hormones during the recovery phase following exercise. Key words: growth hormone, testosterone, cortisol, lactate, strength

Seven populations of Xanthium strumarium L. collected from wetlands and arable fields were examined for their responses to three levels of bentazon application. Significant differences were observed among populations for all traits measured. Contrasts between the wetland and arable populations indicated significant differences in some traits, especially the length and width of the fifth internode. These measurements are closely related to plant biomass, and they were reduced greatly in the wetland populations after bentazon treatment. However, an overall comparison using canonical discriminant analysis failed to show differences between the wetland and arable populations, suggesting that differences in response to herbicide between the two ecotypes may be due to changes in a few traits relating to fitness. Key words: Growth, weed, herbicide, bentazon, cocklebur, Xanthium strumarium

The effect of corn cockle on wheat was studied during germination and on adult plants in a growth chamber. Seedling length of wheat germinated together with corn cockle for 5 days increased 13%. Wheat growing together with corn cockle in pots to maturity had a statistically significant higher wheat biomass and grain production than wheat growing alone. However, two other experiments with adult plants harvested before wheat maturity showed no effect of corn cockle on wheat production per pot. Within the pots the presence of corn cockle influenced wheat in all three experiments. Wheat plants growing at the same position as a corn cockle plant were 20 to 50% larger than wheat plants standing alone. Key words: growth stimulation, allelopathy, competition, interference.
