Near‐epoch dependence (NED) is a generalized dependence concept for functions of mixing processes. This chapter gives definitions and examples, and considers the application to nonlinear dynamic processes. The relation to mixingales is the key theoretical result. Results on the preservation of NED under various transformations and a special result for the adapted sequence case are considered next. Finally, the related concept of approximability is defined which, unlike NED, can hold in the absence of integer moments.

In this paper, we present some inequalities for sector matrices with negative power. Among other results, we prove that if A,B ? Mn(C) with W(A),W(B) ? S?, then for any positive unital linear map ?, it holds R((1-v)?(A) + v?(B))r ? cos2r(?)R?((1-v)Ar + vBr), where v ? [0,1] and r ? [-1,0]. This improves Tan and Xie?s Theorem 2.4 in [22] if setting ?(X) = X for every X ? Mn(C) and replacing A by A-1, B by B-1, respectively, and r=-1, which is also a special result of Bedrani, Kittaneh and Sababheh?s Theorem 4.1 in [4].

Abstract: URL shortener is a technique on the WWW that makes a web page accessible by using a very short URL in addition to the original address. Internet users use this URL shortening application service when finding a very long URL, and users find it difficult to remember the URL address, so that requires an application that can shorten the URL, so that the URL address becomes easier to remember for himself and for others. This research will focus on building a URL shortener application with two services, namely shortened URL shortener, and special shortened URL shortener. URL shortener results are random, i.e. URL shortener results are randomized by the system, and users cannot determine their own results from the URL shortener. The special result URL shortener is the URL shortening result that is determined by the user, and the user can determine the URL shortening result by inputting the results as desired in the system, and this user will successfully input them, if the URL results have not been used by other users.Keywords: URL shortener, randomly generated URL shortener, custom result URL shortenerAbstrak: Pemendek URL adalah suatu teknik pada WWW yang membuat suatu halaman situs dapat diakses dengan menggunakan suatu URL yang sangat pendek selain alamat aslinya. Pengguna internet menggunakan layanan aplikasi pemendek URL ini bila menemukan URL yang sangat panjang, dan pengguna merasa kesulitan untuk mengingat alamat URL tersebut, sehingga memerlukan aplikasi yang bisa memperpendek URL, sehingga alamat URL menjadi lebih mudah untuk diingat bagi dirinya dan bagi orang lain. Pada penelitian ini akan berfokus untuk membangun aplikasi pemendek URL dengan dua layanan, yaitu pemendek URL hasil acak, dan pemendek URL hasil khusus. Pemendek URL hasil acak, yaitu hasil pemendek URL diacak oleh sistem, dan pengguna tidak bisa menentukan sendiri hasil dari pemendek URLnya. Pemendek URL hasil khusus yaitu hasil pemendek URL ditentukan oleh pengguna, dan pengguna bisa menentukan hasil pemendek URLnya dengan cara menginputkan hasil sesuai keinginan di sistem, dan pengguna ini akan berhasil menginputkannya, bila hasil URL tersebut belum digunakan oleh pengguna lain.Kata kunci: Aplikasi Pemendek URL, Pemendek URL hasil acak, Pemendek URL hasil khusus

The operation of any company implies in practice the solution of a large number of issues, including the organization of the financing process. In the theory of corporate finance, there are different methods that significantly facilitate the work of financial managers in this part. At the same time, it is important and significant that in some cases, practitioners face a number of problems that are not prescribed by classical methods. The situation is exacerbated by the solution of financing issues within the complex structured companies, which have become a special result of the capital structuring. Their complex structure often combines the signs of formal and informal holdings. A large number of participants in these structures (such as subsidiaries and affiliates, affiliates, structural units), organization of relations with customers, suppliers and contractors significantly complicate most financial processes, including the financing process. In such cases, there is an urgency to clarify the qualitative characteristics of financing, necessity in determining the role and extent of the influence of "hidden" financing sources on the result and efficiency of capital use. Actually, microlending is the one of these sources.This type of financing is used by companies, being contractors of large businesses, use this resource for financial security purposes

This paper studies dispersiveness of semiflows on fiber bundles. The main result says that a right invariant semiflow on a fiber bundle is dispersive on the base space if and only if there is no almost periodic point and the semiflow is dispersive on the total space. A special result states that linear semiflows on vector bundles are not dispersive.

In [A1]–[A4] there is an abstract description, in terms of “α-systems”, of the object of a nested priority construction, and there is a metatheorem listing conditions which guarantee the success of the construction. The metatheorem has different versions, with later versions becoming simpler and more general. The information needed to meet the requirements is enumerated by a function, where α is an arbitrary recursive ordinal. All other objects associated with the α-system are r.e. In the basic metatheorem, the requirements must all be at level α, although there is a special result, for limit α, which allows one requirement at each level in an increasing sequence with limit α. There are other abstract descriptions of nested priority arguments in [K1], [K2], [K3], and [L-L].A typical use of α-systems is that in [B], where it is shown that, for a relation R on a recursive structure , under suitable assumptions, if R does not have a “recursive Σα” definition in , then there is a recursive isomorphic copy of in which the image of R is not . There is no difficulty in generalizing this to make each of infinitely many relations not , when the assumptions are uniformly satisfied and each relation has no recursive Σα definition. However, the metatheorems for α-systems do not apply to the situation where we have several (even two) relations Ri, which do not have recursive Σβi definitions and whose images we wish to make not for distinct βi. An even more basic problem is to construct a recursive copy of a recursive structure via an isomorphism whose restriction to various sets Ui, is not If βi, = α for all i, then we can use an (α + 1)-system; otherwise, the old metatheorems do not apply.

The interaction between the base flow created by seepage through the unsatu++rated zone in a region between two parallel rivers and the flow caused by the gaining of water from wells positioned at arbitrary points over the region is analysed. Normally both flows are non-steady but, for the sake of simplicity, the base flow is here assumed to be steady whereas the yield of water from the single well is assumed to be a free function of time defined by the actual consumption which assumption leads to a non-steady flow towards the wells. A special result of the analysis is that it becomes possible to define the catchment area of the single well.

The canonical momentum in the direction of the electrical current or an other ordered motion is a constant of motion in the case of mirror type perturbations of plasma configurations in which the current and the magnetic field are perpendicular to each other and in which all the macroscopic quantities depend only on one coordinate in a rectangular system of coordinates, of which the metrical tensor depends also on that coordinate only. This fact enables one, to discuss rather simply the onset of instabilities of that kind of perturbations within the frame of a microscopic collisionless theory. Several examples like plane and cylindrical z- and Θ-pinches and plane periodic configurations without space charges or without currents are treated in this way. A special result is, that at least a very wide class of the nonlinear electrostatic waves, found by BERNSTEIN, GREEN and KRUSKAL 1 are unstable.

It is a well known fact on Lorenz groups that a quadratic form f is definite if and only if the corresponding orthogonal group On(R∞, f) where R∞ is the real number field, is compact. In this note, we shall show that the analogue of this holds for the case of the p-adic orthogonal group On(Rp, f), where Rp is the rational p-adic number field, as a special result of the more general statement on the completely valued fields.
