The investigator administered scale of Values (by Dr. Kamla Vashishtha and Anju Jaideep) and Self Identity (standardized self made test). The raw score of Value and Self Identity were analysed with the help of Product Moment Method (Real Mean Method) and for significant difference between Value and Self Identity 2X2 Factorial Design ANOVA were used. The results revealed that there was significant correlation found for boys at 0.05 and girls and total at 0.01 level of significance and individual and joint difference between Value and Self Identity found at 0.01 level of significance.

This research looks at listening as one factor that gives contribution toward speaking among high school students. The study attempts to reveal through data analysis, in the form of students. score from each variable that both have correlation. Further the objective of the study is also to find out the extent of influence contributed by listening toward speaking. The research applies library study and field study (instrument designing and test performing both for listening and speaking). The theory used for analysis deals with listening and speaking correlation from language learning review. The result of the study demonstrates that the correlation of listening as the independent variable with speaking as dependent variable is positive. It also proves that with a unit of program or treatment given toward listening class, there will be a significant improvement equals with 3.134 times from previous speaking score for the same sample. For the analysis of data, the extent of correlation between two varibales is shown as low. It indicates that even though listening do have positive correlation towarde speaking, it is not the only deminant factor to determine success in speaking.

As part of this contribution, our objective is to analyze the punctuation defects of the Moroccan high school students to answer the following question: the punctuation marks mistakes not contribute to the misunderstanding and the textual opacity? The support that will be used as the basis for the data analysis is the written production. It is therefore crucial to identify and classify localized punctuation deviations in FFL high school students' copies. These errors are indicative of the problems of learning French in our subjects. Note that this aspect of language is often marginalized by teachers, although it contributes to textual cohesion. The results revealed that the punctuation remains uncontrolled. That is why it will be fruitful to propose some didactic remedies for future teachers. Keywords : textual flaws, French foreign language, punctuation, written production

This study investigates whether teaching spelling to high school students using different techniques, i.e. copy, cover, compare and flip folder, would improve students’ spelling. Additionally, it explores students’ opinions and perceptions towards these techniques. The research conducted in Granada high school in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. Thirty-six male students participated in this study whose levels according to the course book were assumed to be B1 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). In this study, a mixed research method was used where data was analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The first group was taught using copy cover and compare method (CCC), which emphasizes repeated practice when errors occur in students spelling, whereas the second group was trained using the flip folder technique which is a combination of visual, auditory, and kinesthetic techniques that were believed to enhance memorization. A post-test was utilized immediately after the intervention and the results showed that the CCC group outperformed the Flip Folder group.

ABSTRACTThe absence of engineering from K-12 curricula and mainstream media often causes students to refer back to historical stereotypes regarding what engineers look like and the type of work they do. Such misconceptions may prevent high school students from pursuing engineering as a field of study and increase the need for engineering educational programs [1]. Nano-Challenge is an outreach program that orients high school students to engineering through a one-year research internship. The program is held at the Center for Nanoscale Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical Manufacturing Systems (Nano-CEMMS) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. A major focus of the program is to involve students from groups traditionally underrepresented in STEM fields and inform them about engineering earlier in their careers. An external program evaluation provides anecdotal information about the students’ experiences and gives feedback to inform program improvement.

One of the factors that influence the level of employability is the motivation to learn and social support. This study aims to determine the effect of motivation to learn and social support on student employability. The participants in this study were 255 students of class XII in State Vocational High School 1 Kalasan Yogyakarta, obtained through random cluster sampling. The data collection was carried out by using an employability scale, motivation to learn scale and social support scale. The data analysis used in this study was multiple linear regression analysis. Our data analysis shows that motivation to learn and social support have a very significant effect on employability, seen through the F test that obtained a score of 44.798 and a significance level (p) of 0.000 (p <0.01). In other words, the level of employability could be predicted based on students' level of motivation to learn and social support.
