Old age is the result of the natural process of ageing and the time to enjoy life. As at this time, we are almost free from all responsibilities. But it can be enjoyed only when one is free from major ailments otherwise it becomes a great burden on ourselves as well as on others too. Due to increased health awareness, the average age of people is increasing day by day and the advancement in medical science provides great help in this regard. Therefore, peo- ple live longer but the natural process of ageing and exposure to unfavourable things causes a lot of derangements and weakening of bodily systems and organs in old age. So, there is a great need for geriatric health care in day- to-day practice so that we can improve the quality of life of old age. Besides a lot of major health problems of old age like Heart Disease, Hypertension, Diabetics, Joint disorders, Dementia, Strokes, etc; some minor ailments are equally important as they are often the cause of many major ailments e.g., Gastric Upsets, Insomnia, Anxiety, etc. Keywords: Digestive Disorders, Old age, Vriddhaavastha, Annavahasrotasvyadhi, Issues, Solutions, Agni

‘Gerontology’ is a term that refers to the scientific study of old age, the process of aging and the special problems of old people. This paper will discuss about the problems of the old man, Nariman Vakeel from the novel Family Matters by Rohinton Mistry. Though the definition focusses on the three aspects of old age namely (i) scientific study (ii) process of aging and the (iii) special problems of old people. Mistry as a literary writer focusses mainly on the last one that is the special problems of old people. Mistry also concentrates on the aging process; the aging refers to a multidimensional process of physical, psychological and social changes. With these perceptions in his mind he narrates the story of an old man aged 79 affected by Parkinson disease. He faces health problems and because of it, he faces problems with his children, his familial relationship as a father and as a grandfather is spoiled; and that affects him psychologically day by day throughout the novel. This paper aims at suggesting a few solutions to the problems of old age people which may contribute to better understanding of individuals at home and in society.

Automobiles have been used to move human beings or things and the automobile technology has been developed within the last few years. The traffic accidents are increasing as automobile production has been increasing. The number of casualties during the vehicle accidents is very large as compared to the other causes of death. It is important to prevent accidents and to protect the driver and pedestrian when accidents occur. Though there are different causes for these accidents but proper technology of braking system and technology to reduce the damage during accident (such as pneumatic bumper system) can be effective on the accident rates. Therefore, pre-crashing system is demanded. Automotive safety has gained an increasing amount of interest from the general public, governments, and the car industry. The pre-crash system is to prevent accidents on roads with poor visibility by using sensor network to find invisible vehicles, which are to be detected by autonomous on-vehicle sensors. The pre-crashing system is processing the sensor data and controlling the vehicle to prevent accidents and accidents caused by careless driving. The pneumatic system is simple and easy in operation and hence can be used in automation industry.

The most commonly used transport system in our country is two wheeler transport system. In that there are varieties of vehicle with vast engine specifications which generate more power. As well as there are many advanced braking system which is invented to reduce or stop the vehicle Even though, the accident rate is increasing day by day. One of the main reasons for the accident is the stopping distance of the vehicle. This project is mainly based on reducing the stopping distance of the vehicle and balancing the vehicle at emergency conditions. We achieve that by creating a drag force against the thrust force. This drag is created with the help of wings which is fixed on both sides of the vehicle. The wings are operated by rack and pinion mechanism which was connected to the starter motor. The starter motor is activated by the driver by means of switch. By implementing our project in commercial vehicle we can reduce the rate of accidents occurring in our day to day life.

Nowadays Human safety has become a major concern, as crime rates are increasing day by day. Out of which most cases are reported against women. As not only women but many other people also need help when it comes to safety, this may include old age people, children, and anyone who is in danger. We are proposing a human safety device that takes input in the form of a voice command or by pressing the panic button. Once the device gets activated, a message and call is sent to the nearby police stations and preferred contacts with some details of the victim and current location of the victim. with this, the buzzers which are placed on the streets on a particular distance also start buzzing. As these buzzers make some amount of noise the nearby people will come to know about the victim and they can also come for help, till the police reach out to the victim.we will be using raspberry pi in the device, NodeMCU in the buzzer and GPS for the location.

The High Temperature Gas Cooled Reactor (HTGR) is considered as one of the nuclear reactors of generation-IV type in the future. The fuel handling system is one of the important processes in HTGR as well as in the design of Reaktor Daya Eksperimental (RDE). In the Fuel Handling System (FHS), the fuel pebble is transferred pneumatically along the pipe using carrier gas into the core of the reactor. Therefore, the pneumatic is an important system in operation stability of FHS. During the developing process of FHS-RDE, a branch pipe as a braking pipe system is provided on top of the pneumatic system to reduce the speed of the fuel discharged from the pneumatic pipe. The pneumatic pipe has an inner diameter of 65 mm and 20 m in length, whereas a branch pipe diameter for the braking system is 30 mm. The pneumatic system pressure is greater than the reactor cooling system pressure of 3.0 MPa. This work was performed to investigate the pressure drop and flow pattern of the braking system of FHS by various carrier gas inlet pressure. The analysis was carried out by Fluent 6.3 Software. Based on the design parameter of FHS used in the analysis, the results show that the performance of the braking system is not significant to reduce the pressure in the top region of the pneumatic pipe. To obtaining a significant reduction in pressure, and evaluation on the design of the branch pipe as well as the radius of curvature of the bend at the top pipe is suggested. Keywords: Pneumatic pipe, pressure, braking system, fuel handling of RDE, carrier gas
