<p>The study objective was to determine of the parents attention and interest in learning to learn mathematics achievement. The method used in this study is a survey method. Sample size of 100 students obtained by random from two schools. Data collection doing by direct observation, documents student achievement of each grade math teacher and school and questionnaire. Analysis of the data with descriptive statistical method, multiple correlation coefficient, determination coefficient and regression analysis. Results of the hypothesis tests, namely (1) there is no influence of the parents attention and interest in learning mathematics to the students learning achievement (2) the role of parental not significantly affects mathematics achievement (3) student interest significantly affect mathematics achievement.</p><p> <strong>Keywords: </strong>Parents attention, interest in learning, mathematics achievement. </p>

The purpose of this research is to find out the effects of reading habit towards student’s reading comprehension. The method used is survey method. Samples were 80 students with a simple random technique. The data was collected by distributing questionnaires directly to the sample. Data analysis using descriptive statistics and the research was conducted on March to July 2015.The result showed: 1). There are any significant effects of reading habit towards students’ reading comprehension. That is proved by value of Fo 33,221 and sig 0,000 < 0,05. The results of correlation analysis of multiple correlation coefficient obtainedbyRy12=0.681and coefficient determination= 46,3 %. While from the regression analysis obtained the regression equation of multiple regression . 2). There is a significant effect of reading habit towards students’ reading comprehension. That is proved by the value of tobserve = 4.926 and Sig. 0.000 < 0.05. 3).

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of parental guidance and emotional intelligence on student learning achievement in social science. The research method was a descriptive survey method. Data collection was done by questionnaires. Data analysis involved descriptive statistical method to find partial and multiple correlation coefficient with ttest. The result showed: 1) there was a significant effect of parental guidance and emotional intelligence together on student learning achievement in social science. Parental guidance and emotional intelligence contributed 64.2% to the student learning achievement in social science; 2) there was a significant effect of parental guidance on student learning achievement in social sciences. This is evidenced by the acquisition of sig= 0.037<0.05 and tcount=2.114; 3) There is a significant effect of emotional intelligence on learning achievement in social sciences. This is evidenced by the p<0.05 and tcount of 6.336.

descriptively, the purpose of this study is to know the tendency students’ of computational skills, independece of  learning, learning environment and the academic mathematics achievement of the students class VIII SMP Negeri of  in Panjatan district on 2013/2014 academic year. Correlatively, the purpose is to determine the relationship between computational skills, independece of  learning,  learning environment and the academic mathematics achievement of the students class VIII SMP Negeri of  in Panjatan district on 2013/2014 academic year. The population of this study was all students of VIII SMP Negeriin Panjatan district on 2013/2014 academic year. Sampling is taken by using cluster randomsampling technique.. The researcher took and selected class of  VIII B and VIII C SMP N I Panjatan and class VIII A and VIII B SMP N 2 Panjatan as the sample class with the number of responders is 108 students. The data analysis is using multiple correlation and multiple regression of two variables. The results of this descriptive study showed that the computational skills is in a very high category, while their independece of  learning is in the high category, while their the  learning environment is in the high category and their learning mathematics achievement in a high category.From the calculation of multiple correlation test, the value ofR=0,647 by p= 0,000 <α=0,05, it means that there is a positive and significant relationship between computational skills, independece of  learning,  learning environment and the academicmathematics achievement.

The aim of the research was to determine the effects of applied technical and tactical characteristics of table tennis players on their success in competitions. The representative sample consisted of 48 top senior table tennis players from Bosnia and Herzegovina, age 18 and 36, selected on the basis of a qualification tournament. The measuring instruments for this study included eight assessment tests for the table tennis players' technical and tactical characteristics and one test for assessing success in table tennis competitions. Technical and tactical characteristics of the participants were evaluated by five experts who analyzed the efficacy of technical and tactical characteristics of the players on a scale ranging from 1 to 5. The methods of processing the results included descriptive statistical procedures, the multiple correlation coefficient, the determinant coefficient and a multiple regression analysis. The results indicate that technical and tactical characteristics have a major impact on the player's performance and are essential for table tennis success. Based on the value of the regression coefficients and their significance, it may be concluded that the 5 variables statistically significantly contribute to the regression model are: the efficiency of the serve; the efficiency of preventing the attack of the opponent and preparation of the players’ own attack; confidence when attacking across the table; the efficiency in the active defence and the efficiency of movement during the game. In the hierarchy of significance, the most important variables are the serve efficiency and efficiency of preventing the attack of an opponent and preparation of the player's own attack. The efficiency of the serve allows an attacker to realize technical and tactical ideas and usually gain initiative in the game. By returning a serve we can prevent or at least make it harder for the opponent to attack again. A serve return can also allow us to take the initiative

This study aims to determine Lifestyle, Destination Image and Ewom on Decisions Against the Decision to Visit Instagram Explore Indonesian Users.This research includes quantitative research with hypothesis testing. The samples used in this study were 80 visitors on the Explore Indonesia Instagram account. The analytical tool used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis, determinant coefficient (R2), multiple correlation coefficient (R), f test, t test, and classic assumption test using SPSS version 18 for windows. Primary data in this study were obtained from questionnaires whose measurement used a Likert scale that was tested for validity and reliability.The results of the analysis prove that knowing Lifestyle, Destination Image and Ewom on Decisions on Visiting Decisions. Lifestyle influences visiting decisions, destination image affects visiting decisions, Ewom also affects visiting decisions.

Acquiring Mathematics knowledge is an important factor in the achievement of the students. Learning Mathematics provides students with skill to analyze, explain, predict and find methodological solution to the problems they might face. Same students may have poor capacity to catch which may be due to several factors such as family background, economic status, education of the parents etc. Individual difference also play vital role in learning Mathematics. Achievement in Mathematics differs from type of schools, gender and locality etc. The present article aims at assessing the achievement in Mathematics among IX standard students in Trichy District. A survey method has been adopted with 90 samples from various type of schools. The investigator collected achievement score of Mathematics of IX standard students from selected schools. By applying proper statistical techniques it is proved that there is significant different in the study. KEY WORDS: Achievement, Mathematics, IX Standard Students

Analysis using multiple regression and correlation techniques. Sample size of 76 students obtained by Slovin technique. The instrument used was a multiple choice test to measure the prior knowledge and questionnaire to measure the interest in learning, while performance is taken from the document teacher learning. lyze the influence of external factors consisting of family support and Business capital to the students decision-making at the Business Faculty of the Institut Bisnis dan Informatika Stikom Surabaya. The research was conducted from 42 students were taken by the purposive sampling method which were active students who own businesses or who are interested in entrepreneurship in the future, survey method used for data gathering with instrument questionnaire and analyzed by SPSSversion 21 to examine the research hypothesis. The result of multiple regression analysis showed that the variable family role and business capital is predicted to increase the student interest in entrepreneurship therefore the stated hypothesis 1 were accepted, but as partially the role of family able to increase the interest in entrepreneurship of the student, although that business capital not necessarily increase the interest of the students to entrepreneurship so the second hypothesis was rejected..

The purpose of this study to determine the level of participation, identify the factors that influence the participation of farmers and to analysis the effect of participation in the Scholars develop village or Sarjana Membangun Desa (SMD) program. The research was conducted on a group of beef cattle in the SMD program Bantul Yogyakarta Province. Primary data were collected by survey method using questionnaire interviews on 8 SMD groups consisting of 42 members. Analysis of the level of participation of farmers using discriptive analysis, while to analysis factors that affect the participation of farmers and the influence of participation to the success of the program was used multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS tools for windows 16. The result analysis shows that farmers level participation in planning, 71.43% farmers had low participation; 59.52% farmers in the implementation stage had participation that was middle level. On stage of evaluation 54.76% farmers had low participation and in stage sharing benefits 50% farmers had low participation. Success of the program SMD viewed from population cattle declined from 184 head to 107 head, while the existing capital in the group also decreased from IDR 2.904.000.000 to IDR 1.182.000.000 seen from number of members group declined from 185 farmers being 114 farmers. Regression analysis showed that age, occupation, level of formal education, non-formal education, long became members of the group, farming experience, family income, number of dependents, land holdings, cosmopolitan, group motivation, the role of SMD, and the role of agency participation of farmers had not been able to explain the participation of farmers and the value of R2 value of 0.132 (13.2%). Partially no factor capable of affecting farmers participation. Further results of the regression analysis with the participation of relationship success SMD program showed no effect with R2 value of 0.01.
