The article reveals the relevance of the organization of independent work of students and the need for methodological support thereof, the quality of which determines the effectiveness of the educational process and professional training at university. The author of the article analyzes various views of domestic scholars on the essence and content of independent work at university. She considers various types and forms of classroom and extracurricular work of students, and defines the status of methodological support as a process and result. She also proposes specific types of educational and methodological support for various types of independent work of students.

The article presents the organizational support for the professional training of bachelors in agricultural engineering in the conditions of information and educational environment: regulatory support for filling the information and education environment and preventing plagiarism, regulatory support for conducting online and offline classes, and regulatory support for independent work, self-control, and monitoring. Regulatory provision for filling the educational environment and preventing plagiarism includes provisions for the Cloud 365 information and education environment and provisions for the prevention of academic plagiarism while learning in the educational environment. Regulatory support for online and offline training includes online training and interactive computer training to provide a competent approach to the training of higher education applicants. The article discusses the problem of the formation of the future Technology teachers’ professional thinking. The concept of «professional thinking of the Technology teacher» is clarified, which is considered as the features of the teacher’s thinking, letting him/her perform professional and pedagogical tasks successfully at a high level of mastery: quickly, accurately solve both the ordinary and extraordinary tasks of teaching and upbringing students in an original way. It has been established that the professional training of Technology teachers is a multi-faceted and time-consuming process. On the one hand, the student must master various work operations and technological processes at the industrial level or close to it, and on the other hand it must have general pedagogical knowledge and methods of their sharing. The peculiarities of the formation of the future Technology teachers’ professional thinking are determined by their activity specifics, which is defined by the goals, tasks, content, external and internal conditions, means, difficulties, features of the mental processes occurrence, motivation displays, the state of a person and a team towards the implementation of management and guidance. That is why the formation of the Technology teachers’ professional thinking should be carried out in an integral system of educational process at a pedagogical institution of higher education, and the methods of teaching students technologies to solve pedagogical tasks should be widely used at training sessions and pedagogical practices, contributing to the professional thinking formation. Moreover the research proves the necessity of wider informational technologies elements’ application with the use of computerized and audio-visual complexes as leading means and a leader, which allow synthesizing the intellectual components of professional thinking and activating its structural components development. The benefit of the article is the defined conditions for the formation of the future Technology teachers professional thinking, they are: a motivation, new means of mastering professional activity, a mental activity intensification, the scientifically substantiated selection of educational material, students’ age possibilities and individual peculiarities. As a result, the article reveals the need to include the material that reflects the specifics of the future Technology teachers professional thinking formation to the content of their subject and psychological and pedagogical training, as well as to combine individual and collective forms of students' work in the process of forming a professional thinking and to carry out a step-by-step control and correction of the future Technology teacher professional thinking formation.

The article focuses on the professional orientation in studies of modern information technologies by future technology teachers. The main positions of formatting the content of the program of this discipline are outlined, as well as demonstrated the ways of possible use of information resources for studying technical and technological disciplines. As an example of a professional direction, the problem of developing teaching programs on technical and technological disciplines, which realize the ability to control knowledge of students, the implementation of complicated technical calculations, assessment of student knowledge for reporting, as well as the implementation of virtual laboratory work in the format of simulation is presented. In the process of developing educational programs, psychological requirements to them have been taken into account, the essence of which is the formation of a holistic image of the solvable problem, step-by-step solving the programmed problem situations, strengthening semantic, logical and spatial activity, which makes it possible to shift the emphasis in the learning process from finding the necessary information to conducting own research. The monitoring of the effectiveness of the introduction of the professionally directed content of the course "Modern Information Technologies" into the educational process has been carried out according to the following criteria: cognitive, motivational, activity, value-reflexive. The positive dynamics of qualitative indicators (with high and sufficient level) of the formation of technical competence of technology teachers in experimental groups were traced. For grounded students’ acquaintance with modern information technologies, it is proposed to include an autonomous course "Computer Design and Modeling" in the cycle of selective academic disciplines for professional training of technology teachers, which has summarizing and generalizing functions in the context of modern information technologies.

AbstractThe importance of studying foreign experience to enhance the efficiency of teacher training in higher education institutions has been justified. Peculiarities of future technology teachers’ training in Poland and Great Britain have been considered. Special attention has been paid to revealing the ways of enhancing the level of teachers’ professional competency while and after studying at university. The requirements for technology teachers’ have been specified. It has been indicated that apart from the requirements for professional training, future specialists should follow moral rules, cooperate with the participants of the education process and manage information and communication technologies. Qualification categories of teachers in Poland as well as educational routes for future technology teachers’ training in Great Britain have been found out. Based on the generalization of the study results, the authors have singled out the main cycles of professional disciplines needed for professional training of technology teachers’ training in Great Britain. The role of school placements in future teachers’ training for professional activity has been considered. It has been proved that the great amount of hours is allotted for practical training of students and forming of those skills and abilities needed in professional activity. Relative stages of students’ practical training in higher education institutions have been identified.

The work of the student on the course work is the most eff ective form to enhance and optimize the teaching and learning process, a way of strengthening his professional and applied orientation, helps to strengthen the connection of educational process with teaching and research activities, is an eff ective means of intensifying the focus of professional training of the student. To modern specialist society has a long list of requirements, among which important value has the presence of graduates of certain abilities and skills independently to extract knowledge from diff erent sources, to systematize received information, analyze the problem. The formation of such skills occurs during the whole study period. The independent work of students plays a crucial role in the entire educational process. The implementation of the course work contributes to the formation of the subject of cognitive activity, requires the creation of a complex of pedagogical conditions for the development of sustainable, high-quality learning motivation; in it the big role self-mastery of general and professional competences. In “Lebedyansky Commerce and Economic College” is constantly working to improve the quality of education. In the long term, the criterion for assessing the quality of the coursework should be the assessment of the degree of creativity and independence of students when performing this type of research. As creativity is based on cognitive abilities of man and covers the areas of personality, process, result, it will contribute to the development of creative elements of scientifi c knowledge, formation of professional qualities of students. The role of training coursework is particularly relevant in the present time, when educational institutions set the task of formation at students of need to continuous self-education, which supposes the ability for own cognitive activity.

The article presents a structural diagram of the driver’s activity associated with driving a car, identifies the factors that affect the reliability of the driver’s actions, contributing to the prediction of road accidents in road transport, and addresses the issues of indicators of actions performed when driving a car in the system of professional training of drivers. The article presents the methodology of training on the training complex, which allows you to determine the indicator of professional skill of safe driving, focused on creating a structure of the main elements that affect the quality of safe behavior on the road and the reliability of the actions performed associated with the preparation for independent work.

The articles reveals the essence of project and technological activity of future handicraft teachers at professional training classes of the culinary cycle, in particular, the requirements for students’ project training are outlined (the problem, the significance of project activity, the variety of independent work types, the allocation of structural parts of the project, the introduction of research teaching methods); types of creative projects are shown (informative, creative, practice-oriented, game, research, mixed; personal, paired, group; short-term, medium-term, long-term); approximate topics of creative projects of the culinary cycle subjects are given; culinary and confectionery products stages of design are identified (organizational and preparatory, design technological, final); criteria for evaluation the quality of projects in the disciplines of the culinary cycle are defined (current work of students, product quality and explanatory notes, project defense); requirements for material, technical and didactic equipment of the culinary training workshop have been established.
