<p>La Ley Orgánica de Educación Superior de Ecuador, establece que todas las Universidades deben contar con un sistema de seguimiento a sus graduados. A partir de este planteamiento, el presente estudio pretende determinar la situación actual de los graduados de la Carrera de Economía en relación al empleo, formación, y satisfacción laboral y la relación con su formación. Para ello, se ha revisado y analizado la base de datos de la Universidad Nacional de Chimborazo, y por otra parte, se aplicó una encuesta a la población involucrada. Los resultados muestran que cerca a la media, considera suficiente la formación obtenida en la Carrera y en un porcentaje similar, se encuentran muy satisfechos respecto a su empleo actual. La satisfacción laboral de los graduados tiene relación al apoyo recibido en el proceso de titulación y la formación recibida, éste último contrastado a través de una hipótesis que refleja una relación medianamente significativa. No obstante, existen otros factores externos que influyen en la satisfacción laboral del graduado.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Palabras claves:</strong> <em>seguimiento a graduados, formación, satisfacción, empleo</em></p><p> </p><p align="center"><strong>ABSTRACT</strong></p><p> </p><p>The Organic Law on Higher Education of Ecuador establishes that all universities should have a system of monitoring to its graduates. From this approach, the present study aims to determine the current situation of graduates of the School of Economics in relation to employment, training and job satisfaction and the relationship with their training. To this end, the database of the National University of Chimborazo has been reviewed and analyzed and, on the other hand, a survey of the population involved was applied. The results show that close to the average, considered sufficient training obtained in their career and a similar percentage is found to be very satisfied about their current employment. Job satisfaction of graduates has support in relation to the process of qualifications and training received, the latter contrasted through a hypothesis reflects a fairly significant relationship. However, there are other external factors that influence the graduate job satisfaction.</p><p><br /> <strong>Keywords</strong>. <em>Monitoring to graduates, training, satisfaction, employment.</em></p><p><strong> </strong></p>

The purpose of the study is to find employees Psychological Capital is related to Job Satisfaction. The Sampling for the study consist of 30 women employees working in IT/ITES Sector in Chennai. According to the result of Correlation analysis, no positive correlation was statistically found between Hope and Optimism subdimension of psychological capital and job satisfaction. On the other hand there was a Positive and significant relationship between Self-efficacy, Resilience and Job satisfaction.

Introduction. In a market economy, staff organizational loyalty is one of the key challenges. Aim. To explore the relationship between staff organizational loyalty and their job satisfaction and enthusiasm. Methods: J. Meyer and N. Allen Scale of Organizational Loyalty, Utrecht Scale of Work Enthusiasm, and Integral Job Satisfaction questionnaire. Results. There is a statistically significant relationship between staff job satisfaction and organizational loyalty. Overall staff organizational loyalty has been shown to relate with such scales of work enthusiasm as "energy", "commitment", and "general enthusiasm". Conclusions. Staff organizational loyalty significantly correlates with staff job satisfaction (in particular, with such components of job satisfaction as job achievement satisfaction, colleagues relationship satisfaction, and work conditions satisfaction) and work enthusiasm (in particular, with staff organizational commitment).

This article uses the 2008 Egypt Demographic and Health Survey to explore the relationship between religion and women’s attitudes toward intimate partner violence (IPV). It also asks whether modernization, as measured by having a higher education or living in an urban area, can mediate or moderate this relationship. Using latent class analysis to create categories of women’s wife-beating attitudes, and multinomial regression to explore the relationship between religion, education, and urbanity, we find no significant relationship between being Muslim and justifying wife beating. Our data further suggest that neither education nor urbanity mediate or moderate this relationship.

In the digital era, the success of the professional development of future specialists in the process of obtaining higher education largely depends on their professional orientation (PN). Despite the significant interest in the subject of the study, the problem of identifying the factors that affect PN remains poorly understood. The purpose of the study is to determine the factors of the formation of PN of students enrolled in training and retraining programs, and the features of PN in the digital era. The article reveals the content and structure of the PN of future specialists in the era of digitalization. According to the results of the empirical research, the relationship of students' PN with indicators of life-meaning orientations, motives for choosing a profession and training was revealed; the relationship between students' life-meaning orientations and indicators of motives for choosing a profession and training at the stage of digitalization of education. The factors influencing the personal condition, and the factors of the formation of the personal condition of students, who are trained according to the programs of training and retraining of specialists, have been determined. As a result of an empirical study, it was concluded that a negative impact on the formation of PN is created by factors caused by various life circumstances, lack of independence of decisions in choosing a profession, low reflection of life goals, prospects for the future, rigidity of volitional and personal qualities, internal conflict in the structure of personality relationships, low pleasure training and the like. At the same time, the level of PN is significantly higher among students who receive a second higher education and who understand its importance at the stage of digitalization of education.

Administrators are an important human resource in Higher Education because they perform various duties that are critical to the daily operations of universities. In light of this, organisational commitment and job satisfaction of administrators are essential for the efficiency and effectiveness of universities. Notwithstanding the critical relevance and necessity of organisational commitment and job satisfaction, there is evidence of paucity of research on these areas among administrative staff in the South African higher education sector. The objective of this study was to examine the relationship between organisational commitment and overall job satisfaction on the organisational commitment of administrators at a university in Gauteng. To achieve the aforementioned objective, a quantitative survey approach was used to examine the relationship between overall job satisfaction and organisational commitment. The selfadministered structured questionnaires were issued to 383 administrative staff members. Descriptive statistics was utilised to assess the levels of both organisational commitment and job satisfaction, results of which revealed that administrators were satisfied with and committed to the university. Spearman’s rho correlation analysis showed that there was a strong correlation between affective commitment and job satisfaction; and moderate correlations between job satisfaction and moral imperative. Similar strong correlation was observed between indebted obligation and job satisfaction. Conversely, a weak correlation occurred between job satisfaction and continuance commitment. Regression coefficients indicated that job satisfaction contributed positively to the prediction of affective commitment, moral imperative, indebted obligation and continuance commitment. Based on these findings, the recommendations and future research opportunities were suggested.

The purpose of the study is to explore the relationship between teaching evaluation and lecturers’ performances. To achieve this purpose, the study analysed the correlations between teaching evaluation scores by student and evaluation on lecturers’ performances by dean, and between teaching evaluation scores by student and students’ final examination results. Census study was applied to collect all data, which involved 124 lecturers and eight deans. The study used data from the online system, which involved evaluation made for 246 courses by all active students in semester June – November 2018. Descriptive and inferential statistics were applied in this study and analysed using SPSS version 21.0. The result showed that there is no significant relationship between teaching evaluation scores by student and evaluation on lecturers’ performances by dean. This study also found that there is no significant relationship between teaching evaluation scores by student and students’ final examination results. Based on the findings, the study inferred there is bias in the evaluation instruments and there are external factors contributed to the outcome of insignificant correlations in both analyses, thus the effect or impact of the evaluation system to academic division is not significant

<p><em>The number of medical personnel in the Padang City is still a shortage of the amount required is 83 people, but this time medical personnel numbered 53 people. This research was carried out by combining two types of research are mixed method, preceded by a quantitative research with cross sectional approach, followed by qualitative research. The study was conducted in Primary Health Care Padang City. The population in this study are all medical personnel in the Padang City with a sample of 38 people, with a sampling technique is simple random sampling. The bivariate analysis known there are significant relationship between work (p = 0,023), compensation (p = 0,001), supervision (p = 0,001) and the relationship between employees (p = 0,000) with job satisfaction. But there is no relationship promotion with job satisfaction (p = 0,208). The conclusion of the study there are significant relationship between work, compensation, supervision and the relationship between employees with job satisfaction.</em></p>

As stand-alone concepts, job satisfaction and job training have each been researched extensively. However, encouraged by researchers who have found a myriad of effects of job training on employee behavior in the workplace, the concepts of job training and job satisfaction are being examined together. Results of many studies indicate that the effects of job training go beyond those that might be considered traditional, that is, the acquisition of knowledge, the improvement of skill, and the increasing of efficiency in the workplace. This review of literature looks at the relationship between job training and job satisfaction, and also examines the concept of job training satisfaction. It has been found that the research on the relationship between these two concepts can be categorized as follows: job training satisfaction as a measured construct, workplace and employee studies, training methodology studies, perception and meaning, and additional outcomes. Training and development practitioners must be aware of the relationship between job training and job satisfaction when planning and promoting workplace training programs.

Year by year, the amount of elderly who lives at nursing home in Bali are increasingly. Most of them be carried to nursing home by their families with a reason that they are not able to take care of their elderly at home. It makes that there is a lot of elderly think negatively about the decision to put them at nursing home. Negative thinking makes them have a low self esteem. According to it, this study aiming to see the relationship positive thinking and self esteem to the elderly. This study is a correlational study between 84 elders who lives at nursing home in Bali as a subject. Method of data collection in this study is using questionnaires. The variable of positive thinking is measured positive thinking questionnaire, and the variable of self esteem is measured by self esteem questionnaire. Both of them are already valid and reliable. Positive thinking questionnaire consist of 22 items which validity range from 0,259 to 0,935 and the coefficient reliability is 0,944. Self esteem questionnaire consist of 23 items which validity range from 0,282 to 0,938 and the coefficient reliability is 0,959. The result of nonparametric Kendall’s Tau show that there is a significant relationship between positive thinking and self esteem (r=0,422 ; p=0,000). It that can be concluded that variable of positive thinking can explain the variable of self esteem in 17,8%. It can explain that the hypothesis  which stating that there is a relationship between positive thinking and self esteem to the elderly who lives at nursing home in Bali can be accepted. The other things that can explain about the relationship between positive thinking and self esteem are because the elderly able to; (1)accept themselves and their condition, (2) adapt with their environment, (3) see themselves positively, (4) show their power, (5) show their competence.   Keyword : positive thinking, self esteem, elderly, and nursing home
