The purpose of the work was to evaluate the influence of biomass of Streptomyces levoris CNMN-Ac-01 added to fodder on meat productivity and chemical composition of rabbit meat. The experimental and control groups of animals (each one consisting of 5 rabbits) were formed according to analogous principles of age, sex (only females), body weight, mode of maintenance and feeding. The age of rabbits used for the experiment was 45 days. The control rabbits were fed with granulated fodder produced according to the recipe developed in the laboratory of Nutrition and Forage Technologies. The rabbits in experimental group were fed with the same granulated fodder supplemented with 0.1% biomass of Streptomyces levoris CNMN-Ac-01. The results of the chemical analyzes of the used fodder indicated that the elaborated fodder composition provide rabbits with all necessaries for their vital activity, where as added biomass of Streptomyces levoris CNMN-Ac-01 do not significantly affect its chemical composition. The increase of the protein content by 0.20% and water by 1.15% were observed in meat of experimental rabbits where the content of fat was decreased for 0.71% in comparison to those of the experimental group. The supplementing of streptomycete biomass in granulated fodder had an essential effect on the weight gain of rabbits and improves the bone and meat ratio in the carcass.

The article presents the results of research on the use of linear sheep of edilbaevsky, saryarkinsky and Kazakh short-tailed semi-coarse breeds on the uterus of the non-tribal part of the herds in order to improve their meat productivity. The research was conducted on farms in West Kazakhstan and Karaganda regions. The average live weight of linear rams used in the experimental group of Queens and producers of the control group was 114 and 102 kg for the edilbaev breed, 99 and 93 kg for the saryarkin breed, and 95 and 91.5 kg for the Kazakh short – tailed semi – rough – haired breed. The average live weight of Queens of the experimental and control groups: 62.4 and 62.6; 57.4 and 57.2 kg and 53.2-53.0 kg. The results of research showed that in all variants of selection, the descendants of linear rams are born larger and become highly reliable by 4-4,5 and 16-18 months of age. The rate of meat production per uterus at the time of lambs weaning was 36.5-41.5 kg in the linear rams groups, or 5.2-5.7% higher than in the non-linear producers groups. When carrying out control slaughters of rams in 4 and 16 months. in terms of age, both in terms of slaughter indicators and meat qualities, the advantage was on the side of linear rams. The use of linear rams on the uterus of the non-tribal part of the sheep herds of edilbaevsky, saryarkinsky and Kazakh short-tailed semi-coarse breeds contributed to the production of young animals with a higher intensity and energy of growth in comparison with off spring from non-linear producers, which provided higher production of meat per uterus.

The purpose of the research is studying the efficacy of Eprimek (Eprinomectin) against gastrointestinal nematodes in sheep.Materials and methods. A commercial experiment to study the antiparasitic efficacy of Eprimek was carried out in June 2020 on 300 lambs of the North Caucasian breed in a private flock of Filimonovskaya Village, Izobilnensky District, the Stavropol Territory, which were divided into two groups. The experimental group of lambs (290 animals) was injected Eprimek subcutaneously at the earset at a dose of 1 ml/50 kg of live weight (10 mg of Eprinomectin in 1 ml), and 10 lambs were not treated; they were used as control. We collected feces from the lambs of the experimental and control groups before administration of the drugs and after 15 and 30 days. Fecal samples were examined by the flotation technique with a saturated solution of ammonium nitrate with counting nematode eggs in 1 g of feces. The results were processed statistically. Results and discussion. Eprimek showed a decrease in the number of excreted helminth eggs from 225.1±28.2 to 4.1±2.3 in production environment at a dose of 1 ml/50 kg of live weight, according to coprological studies on the 15th day after treatment in the experimental group of lambs. The efficacy was 98.2%, and 70% of the animals were free from the infection. The intensity of infection of the control lambs by gastrointestinal nematodes was 131–151 eggs per 1 g of feces at 100% prevalence.

In Bangladesh some researchers have done several studies to find the correlation of simple diffuse goiter with arsenic level but no one conducted any study to find the differences of urinary iodine, urinary arsenic, radioiodine uptake, the thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) and free thyroxin (FT4) levels between goitrous and non goitrous. That is why, in this research an attempt has been made to compare the urinary iodine, urinary arsenic, radioiodine uptake, TSH and FT4 levels between experimental group with simple diffuse goiter and healthy control group. In this study another purpose has also been made to find the associations between different pairs of variables for both experimental and control group. In this study we have tried to find the impacts of arsenic level on simple diffuse goiter. This is a case-control analytical study. The study is carried out in the Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Ultrasound, in collaboration with the thyroid out patient department of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University. A total of eighty five (85) subjects are included in the study. Among the 85 subjects, a sample of forty five is considered for experimental group with simple diffuse goiter and another sample of forty is considered for healthy control group without any thyroid disease. From the experimental results it has been found that, the arsenic levels, FT4 and radioiodine uptake levels at 2 hours between the experimental and control groups are significantly different but the urinary iodine levels, TSH levels and radioiodine uptake levels at 24 hours between the experimental and control groups are not statistically different. From the experimental results it has also been found that there is significant differentiation between experimental and controls groups in respect of association between different pairs of variables. In this study, another significant finding is that iodine deficiency is not only the factor of causing simple diffuse goiter, but arsenic level is also one of the most important factor of causing simple diffuse goiter. Researchers recently have suggested that behaviorally disordered students exhibit deficits in test-taking skills, the ability to use test cues to maximize test scores. These deficits may account partially for the low achievement scores commonly associated with this population. The present investigation was intended to determine whether behaviorally disordered students could be trained to improve test-taking skills relevant to content area tests. First, 34 behaviorally disordered adolescents were administered Slakter, Koehler, and Hampton's (1969) test of test-taking skills, matched for grade and pretest score, and assigned at random to experimental and control groups. Experimental group students were provided with training in specific test-taking skills relevant to content area, teacher-made tests, over a 5-day period while control students received their regularly scheduled instruction. After the training period, a posttest was administered. A two-way (group by test) analysis of variance indicated that experimental condition students scored significantly and substantially (nearly 50%) higher than untrained control students. Implications for research and training are discussed.

This study aims to investigate the possible effects of peripheral learning on elementary EFL learners’ grammar improvement: the case of prepositions of time and place. Two elementary classes were selected as experimental and control groups. Before beginning the treatment, a grammar test was administered to both the groups as a pre-test. Then, as treatment, the experimental group was exposed to realia, pictures, posters and texts, while the control group was not. After term-long treatment of 10 weeks, the two groups received the same grammar test as post-test. The results of t-test showed that the experimental group improved their grammar ability, i.e., knowledge of prepositions of time and place more than their friends in the control group. The finding of the study may open an optional path for teachers to include some peripheral materials in their teaching environment to further invest on unconscious learning abilities of the students.   Keywords: Peripheral learning, reposition of time, prepositions of place, grammar.
