Since mobile devices nowadays have become ubiquitous, several types of networks formed over such devices have been proposed. One such approach is represented by opportunistic networking, which is based on a store-carry-and-forward paradigm, where nodes store data and carry it until they reach a suitable node for forwarding. The problem in such networks is how to decide what the next hop will be, since nodes do not have a global view of the network. We propose using the social network information of a node when performing routing, since a node is more likely to encounter members of its own social community than other nodes. In addition, we approximate a node’s contact as a Poisson distribution and show that we can predict its future behavior based on the contact history. Furthermore, since opportunistic network nodes may be selfish, we improve our solution by adding a selfish node detection and avoidance mechanism, which can help reduce the number of unnecessary messages sent in the network, and thus avoid congestion and decrease battery consumption. We show that our algorithm outperforms existing solutions such as BUBBLE Rap and Epidemic in terms of delivery cost and hit rate, as well as the rate of congestion introduced in the network, by testing in various realistic scenarios.

Abstract The penetration of the 5G Internet and big data communication into human society brings about the survival basis of the social opportunistic networks. Using mobile terminal devices for communication makes the communication of nodes in the social opportunistic network intermittent, because nodes may be in motion all the time. In social opportunistic networks, data communication activities can be recorded and analyzed by evaluating communication activities of human beings or determining their interest points. However, the identification of nodes with the same or similar types of attributes among a large number of user nodes, has become a research problem in the field of social opportunistic networks. How to find an effective method to classify nodes according to their social characteristics and similarity degree becomes the key point of social opportunistic network data forwarding process. In this study, we proposed a method of community mining by decomposition of node and community relationship matrix with large social network data attributes. By using the regular type and iterative community features among community-rule-meet nodes, the method is proved to be converged and yield a minimum solution. Experimental results show that the proposed method exhibits strong application value.

Opportunistic networks utilize pocket switching for routing where each node forwards its messages to a suitable next node. The selection of the forwarder node is crucial for the efficient performance of a routing protocol. In any opportunistic network, some nodes have a paramount role in the routing process and these nodes could be identified with the assistance of the existing centrality measures available in network theory. However, the central nodes tend to suffer from congestion because a large number of nodes that are relatively less central attempt to forward their payload to the central nodes to increase the probability of the message delivery. This paper evaluates mechanisms to transform the social encounters into congestion aware metrics so that high-ranking central nodes are downgraded when they encounter congestion. The network transformations are aimed at aggregating the connectivity patterns of the nodes to implicitly accumulate the network information to be utilized by centrality measures for routing purposes. We have analyzed the performance of the metrics’ computed centrality measures using routing simulation on three real-world network traces. The results revealed that betweenness centrality along with the congestion aware network metrics holds the potential to deliver a competitive number of messages. Additionally, the proposed congestion aware metrics significantly balance the routing load among the central nodes.

In this article I want to ask what we should do, either collectively or individually, if we could identify by genetic and family profding the 12% of the male population likely to commit almost half the violent crime in our society. What if we could identify some individuals in that 12% not only at birth, but in utero, or before implantation? I will explain the source of these figures later; for now, I will use them only to provide a concrete example of the kind of predictive claims we can expect to be made with some frequency, and some scientific credibility, over the next generation. I will adopt an outlook that one commentator has called “pragmatic optimism,” but which could also be called technological optimism - the belief that a science or technology will achieve many or most of its advertised goals. My optimism will be directed towards human behavioral genetics, the source of predictions like the one I just offered; I will assume that this controversial discipline will achieve a substantial pan of its scientific ambition to identlfy genetic differences among individuals that help predict and possibly explain future behavior, psychological health, and cognitive skill. This optimism is very limited -it concerns the scientific success of behavioral genetics, not the social value of that success.

Islamic religious education is very important for shaping character, especially in social society. In today's era, students tend not to care about society, therefore forming a good character is very important, especially in the social community in Islamic religious education itself, it teaches us that we are required to have good character as taught by the Prophet Muhammad; Allah SWT said, which means "and indeed you (Muhammad) have a noble character". Because of this, it can be concluded that the Prophet Muhammad, was sent to earth to improve the character of all human beings. Thus, the character of education from an Islamic point of view is needed, especially in Islamic educational institutions. So, from various problems related to morals which are ideally able to realize character education, especially in social society in an Islamic perspective in the form of mutual care. courtesy to parents. sense of responsibility and care for fellow human beings.

On the occasion of 100 years of existence and activity of Adam Mickiewicz University in Pozna, one may sum up the contribution of the Faculty of Theology which has existed as part of the uni- versity for 20 years. This contribution has concerned the research and teaching arenas combined with a commitment for the social community of the Wielkopolska province. What is specific of the faculty is its ability to work both on the scientific and didactic levels as well as on the church level, which requires considerable knowledge and time in order to competently combine the requirements of working at university with demands of the Catholic Church managed by the Second Vatican Council. The scientific and popular scientific initiatives in the widely understood biblical studies represent a valuable contribution to the celebration of 100 years of the Pozna university. Like other scientific disciplines, they can proudly make their own contribution to the development of sci- ence in our city, as well as the entire country. One can only hope that the present generation of sci- entists will take the baton passed to them in the relay race of generations, and will make their own contribution to the science thereby honouring Pozna as an important scientific centre in Poland.

This paper proposes a new theoretical stochastic model based on an abstraction of the opportunistic model for opportunistic networks. The model is capable of systematically computing the network parameters, such as the number of possible routes, the probability of successful transmission, the expected number of broadcast transmissions, and the expected number of receptions. The usual theoretical stochastic model explored in the methodologies available in the literature is based on Markov chains, and the main novelty of this paper is the employment of a percolation stochastic model, whose main benefit is to obtain the network parameters directly. Additionally, the proposed approach is capable to deal with values of probability specified by bounded intervals or by a density function. The model is validated via Monte Carlo simulations, and a computational toolbox (R-packet) is provided to make the reproduction of the results presented in the paper easier. The technique is illustrated through a numerical example where the proposed model is applied to compute the energy consumption when transmitting a packet via an opportunistic network.

Internet users in the world prefer to spend time accessing the internet through the social media. Social media with a variety of platforms provides special communities with their own uniqueness and allows users to share lots of content. The members involves creates a new social community with various phenomena, both positive and negative. Counselors in the millennium era are required to have the insight andknowledge that is qualified to deal with the well being conditions of individuals from activities in social media. Endogenous Rural Development is an application concept of Endogenous Regional Development in rural scale. This study portrays the progress of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta in supporting endogenous rural development in Karangdukuh Village, Jogonalan District, Klaten Regency. Continuing the progress of UIN Sunan Kalijaga 2017, this article empowers a peasant community named Sentra Peternakan Rakyat (SPR) in Kebon Wulang Reh, in Karangdukuh Village. This study was first elaborated through two FGD processes. The FGD process is the first step to understanding the expectations and mapping of SPR needs. After conducting the Particypatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) survey, the study in this article was carried out in 3 concrete actions, namely the development of ‘Cakruk Pintar’ at the SPR location, Health Promotion and Trial Learning in ‘Cakruk Pintar’. These three main variables are people’s livestock, public health, and community learning habitus. The results of the development of 'endogenous' village development in the community service process have an elaborative and collaborative spirit. The collaboration aspect is the entrance to invite practitioners so that they can generate positive reactions from the social community. Meanwhile, elaborative aspects can give birth to new dissemination from all stakeholders, partners and policy makers. Where this Participatory Action Research (PAR) village development process can succeed if there is academic sustainability, both programs can be continued or stopped.[Pembangunan Pedesaan Endogen (Endogenous Rural Development) merupakan konsep penerapan dari Pembangunan Regional Endogenus dalam skala pedesaan. Penelitian ini memotret kiprah UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta dalam mendukung pembangunan pedesaan endogen di Desa Karangdukuh, Kecamatan Jogonalan Kabupaten Klaten. Melanjutkan kiprah UIN Sunan Kalijaga 2017, artikel ini melakukan pemberdayaan pada sebuah komunitas peternak bernama Sentra Peternakan Rakyat (SPR) Kebon Wulang Reh, di Desa Karangdukuh. Kajian ini terlebih dahulu dielaborasi melalui proses FGD yang dilakukan selama dua kali. Proses FGD merupakan langkah awal untuk memahami harapan dan pemetaan kebutuhan SPR. Setelah melakukan survei Particypatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), kajian pada artikel ini dilakukan dalam 3 tindakan nyata, yaitu pembangunan Cakruk Pintar di lokasi SPR, Promosi Kesehatan dan Uji Coba Pembelajaran di Cakruk Pintar. Tiga variabel utama ini adalah peternakan rakyat, kesehatan masyarakat, dan habitus belajar masyarakat. Hasil pengembangan dari pembangunan desa ‘endogen’ pada proses pengabdian masyarakat memiliki semangat elaboratif dan kolaboratif. Aspek kolaborasi menjadi pintu masuk mengundang para praktisi sehingga dapat memunculkan reaksi positif dari komunitas sosial. sementara itu, aspek elaboratif dapat melahirkan diseminasi baru dari semua stakeholder, mitra dan pengambil kebijakan. Di mana proses pembangunan desa berbasis Partisipatory Action Research (PAR) ini dapat berhasil jika ada keberlanjutan akademis, baik dapat dilanjutkan ataupun dihentikan programnya.]
