The paper suggests that one of the sources of the article in “defense” of “Pavlishchev’s son” against Myshkin in F. M. Dostoevsky’s novel The Idiot could have been the “Minister Lanskoy” lampoon by P. V. Dolgorukov. It was published in the émigré periodical <i>Budushnost’</i> (<i>Future</i>) and contained an extensive addendum about V. F. Odoevsky. The fact that Dostoevsky had demonstrated an interest and was sympathetic to Odoevsky’s personality and views, specifically, during his work on <i>The Idiot</i>, substantiate this hypothesis. It is further confirmed by similar motifs and techniques in the texts of the two articles, for instance, the author’s position, hyperbole, distortion of facts, satirical attribution of common features to the lampooned persons (i.e., stupidity, worthlessness, wastefulness, depravity, impunity, proclivity for the opposite sex, passion for the European world). Similarities between the articles also include a personal, rather than an ideological, reason for lampooning and quoting I. A. Krylov, A. S. Griboyedov and others. Meanwhile, Myshkin’s and Odoevsky’s reactions to the lampoon are opposite. This allows us to discuss the substantial differences between the character and his possible prototype. P. V. Dolgorukov’s article “Minister Lanskoy” is published as an appendix to this work.

The introduction sets up the paradox of the conspicuous military seer and the absent colonial one within archaic and classical texts and proposes an ideological reason for the discrepancy. Definitions of key terms (text, culture, ideology, and colonial discourse) and method (New Historicist) are presented. The book’s objectives are then placed in relation to previous scholarship on colonization, colonial narrative, and Greek seers and divination. A subsection offers an overview of the Greek seer for those readers unfamiliar with the seer’s primary functions and role in ancient Greek culture.

Moslem scholars have acceptedmaqamat in reciting the Quran otherwise they have not accepted macapat as Javanese style in reciting the Quran such as recitationin the State Palace in commemoration of Isra` Miraj 2015. The paper uses a phonological approach to accents in Arabic and Javanese style in recitingthe first verse of Surah Al-Isra`. Themethod used here is analysis of suprasegmental sound (accent) by usingSpeech Analyzer programand the comparison of these accents is analyzed by descriptive method. By doing so, the author found that:first, there is not any ideological reason to reject Javanese style because both of Arabic and Javanese style have some aspects suitable and unsuitable with Ilm Tajweed; second, the suitability of Arabic style was muchthan Javanese style; third, it is not right to reject recitingthe Quran with Javanese style only based on assumption that it evokedmistakes and errors; fourth, the acceptance of Arabic style as the art in reciting the Quran should risedacceptanceof the Javanese stylealso. So, rejection of reciting the Quranwith Javanese style wasnot due to any reason and it couldnot be proofed by any logical argument. Keywords: Recitation, Arabic Style, Javanese Style, Quran.

SummaryDespite evidence for their comparable efficacy, psychotherapy faces a dramatic decline relative to pharmacotherapy in psychiatry. A deep ideological reason for this decline centres on the belief that psychotherapy is a psychosocial treatment whereas pharmacotherapy is a biological treatment. Modern cognitive neuroscience demonstrates that this distinction is a myth.

This paper will explain the concept of ontological Ibn al-‘Arabi of interpretation, the general idea of the book <em>Ah</em><em>kâm al-Qur’ân</em> that includes methods, patterns, sources of interpretation, interpretation elements and characteristics that distinguish it from the interpreters other. Ontological view regarding the interpretation that was never a logical consequence of the importance of the final carry was critical of the existing interpretation of the results so far, so it is legitimate to question whether <em>Ah</em><em>kâm al-Qur’ân</em> is still relevant to the demands of his time or not? Whether in it there is coercion-coercion and preconceptions-ideological Ibn al-‘Arabî or not? Given, <em>Ah</em><em>kâm al-Qur’ân</em> is reproduced in the 5th century AH, where the fight discourse between the schools of thought Islam was at its height. While Ibn al-‘Arabi is an intellectual who embrace genuine Mâlikî School, so it brought the prejudice that he is stuck in an ideological reason
