The paper deals with the problem of protecting the Executive program of modems of telecommunication networks and management from unauthorized access, as well as the procedure for implementing the software protection of the Executive program. The analysis of attacks to which telecommunication devices based on microcontrollers are subject is carried out, and the possibilities of counteraction are considered. The article analyzes the use of cryptographic primitives in the implementation of the software tool for protecting the modem Executive program from unauthorized access and provides a detailed algorithm for its implementation with all the main elements and functional connections.

Subject area Strategic Management. Study level/applicability Master of Business Administration/Executive Program in Management Level. Case overview Rajat Malik started eFin Recruiters in January 2015 an RPO firm solely catering to the finance domain. Positioning eFin Recruiters in a niche domain created serious challenges to be tackled. Rajat was contemplating leveraging the Indian Government’s Startup India campaign launched on January 16, 2016 to his advantage to scale up eFin Recruiters’ operations by 400 per cent and compete with large established players in the RPO industry. Complacency and anticipated retaliatory action by competitors against eFin Recruiters’ positioning in the niche domain were a huge impediment in eFin Recruiters’ path to exponential growth. Expected learning outcomes This case will enable students to understand the concepts of industry analysis, strategic positioning from the view of an entrepreneurial firm and business level strategy. This case acts as a medium to integrate entrepreneurship and strategy which is of utmost relevance. Supplementary materials Teaching Notes are available for educators only. Introduction:Cognitive Remediation Therapy is a new rehabilitation approach that has been created in order to improve cognitive functions such as attention, memory and executive function. We aimed to investigate the effects of one type of Cognitive Remediation Therapy, the Frontal/Executive Program, on cognitive function, social function, and psychiatric symptoms in the chronic phase schizophrenia patients. Methods:Seventeen participants who gave consent were randomly assigned to an intervention group (n=8) or control group (n=9). The intervention consisted of 44 sessions of FEP over a period of approximately six months. Cognitive function, social function, and psychiatric symptoms were evaluated before and after the intervention and before and after a roughly six-month long period for controls. Results: The present study showed improvements in Brief Assessment of Cognition in Schizophrenia-Japanese version composite score and subscales of verbal memory and working memory. Improvements were also observed in overall evaluation in the Schizophrenia Cognition Rating Scale-Japanese version, total Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale score and the Global Assessment of Functioning Scale score. FEP is considered to improve the performance of cognitive function tests and social function tests and psychiatric symptoms tests that are the target of this training. Conclusion:Intervention by Frontal/Executive Program improved cognitive function and psychiatric symptoms in patients with chronic schizophrenia with long disease duration who require large doses of medication. Significant effects of intervention were observed in overall patient, informant and interviewer evaluation in social function test. FEP is a training method the primary means pencil and paper, it is possible to inexpensively implement when compared to the other CRT that uses a computer. There is an advantage that less economic cost.

Subject area The case can be introduced in the information technology (IT) strategy course. The case can also fit well in courses like emergent technologies where the case forms the vehicle to show how cloud-based solutions can provide leverage to an organization. Study level/applicability The case is aligned more for management participants, for example, students who are enrolled in master's or executive program in management. Considering the master's program in management, the case can be introduced in the IT strategy course. The case can also fit well in courses like emergent technologies where the case forms the vehicle to show how cloud-based solutions can provide leverage to an organization. Assignment questions addressed below are designed from the perspective of teaching this case to a business student audience. The case could certainly be adjusted to fit the needs of students in more technical disciplines. Case overview Set in March 2009, Charan Padmaraju, the CTO of redBus was grappling with his companies IT infrastructure and scalability issues. He was considering cloud computing as a solution to all his worries. redBus was founded in August 2006 as a bus ticketing company in India. From INR 50 lakhs of gross bookings in their first financial year 2006-07 to an estimated INR 300 million in gross bookings in the financial year ending 2008-09, redBus had registered phenomenal growth. From selling 10 tickets a day, it now sold more than 4,000 tickets a day for more than 5,000 routes across 15 states in India. However, the IT infrastructure of redBus could not match up with their business needs and required frequent upgrades. Charan thought “The procurement of new servers, upgrading existing servers and most of the developer's time went into circumventing scaling issues which were not adding values to our core business.” He wondered “Can cloud computing be an answer to all my worries? “But what exactly is cloud computing? Will it solve my existing scalability issues? How reliable it is? Is it expensive? What is the time for deployment?” Expected learning outcomes To understand what is a business model; to appreciate the technical issues related to business expansion decisions; to explain the concepts behind cloud based solutions; and to demonstrate how adoption of the cloud solution can enable an organization to achieve competitive advantage. The purpose of this paper is to study universities which provide executives program on Master of Management (MM) or Master of Business Administration (MBA) both in Indonesia and overseas. This paper presents a benchmarking a study to compare processes, performance, best practices between Executive MBA Institut Teknologi Bandung (MBA-ITB) and the other universities. Besides benchmarking, the authors also used customer intelligence method to gather and analyze information regarding competitors by visiting universities in Indonesia. To manage and monitor performance of Executive MBA program, we measured customer satisfaction what products or services provided by MBA-ITB meet or surpass customers (executive students) and conducted in-depth interview to explore need and demand of executive students. The results of the study help to develop executive MBA program and to adopt learning process in other universities to be followed and implemented in MBA-ITB. The acquired knowledge has been partly adapted and adopted by papers. The main implication is the need to explore how MBA-ITB can efficiently and effectively adapt and adopt such knowledge from the results. This work provides effective assistance for development of executive program in MBA-ITB embarking on this benchmarking journey. The result of customer satisfaction provides an indication of how successful MBA-ITB is at providing products and/or services to the students.
