A 54-year-old female patient reported with missing anterior front tooth since past one year and wanted its replacement. After considering all factors, she was advised for an implant supported prosthesis with respect to the missing tooth. Moreover, the anterior atrophic maxilla represents a challenge for the dentist which often require hard and soft tissue augmentation procedures. Currently custom abutments are reported in having functional and esthetic advantages over prefabricated abutments. In this case report , a maxillary anterior tooth has been replaced using a narrow diameter implant using a custom abutment followed by a DMLS prosthesis placement.

It has been found that pain in various parts of the body can be temporarily eliminated by mechanically suppressing or stimulating the front tooth. Some typical examples of this are described in this article. We know which teeth represent which organs, but we also have diagrams that show the cause of the pain, such as changes in certain areas of the electrocardiogram, and those possible areas are shown somewhere in the electrocardiogram. One minute downward pressure on the tip of any one of the front 3 teeth (1st incisor, 2nd incisor, and canine) at the right and left sides of the upper and lower jaw by a wooden toothpick induced temporary disappearance (20 min-4 hours) of abnormally increased pain parameters (pain grading, Substance P, & TXB2), and cancer parameters (Telomere, Integrin α5 β1, Oncogene C-fos Ab2, etc. of Astrocytoma, Glioblastoma, squamous cell carcinoma of esophagus, adenocarcinoma of lung, breast cancer, adenocarcinoma of colon, prostate cancer). The effect included temporary disappearance of headache, toothache, chest and abdominal pain, and backache, often with improved memory & concentration. Since these beneficial changes resembled the effects of giving one optimal dose of DHEA, increase of DHEA was measured. Above mechanical stimulation of one of these front teeth increased abnormally reduced DHEA levels of less than 10 ng to normal 100–130 ng BDORT units and normal cell (NC) telomeres from markedly reduced values to near normal values, and improved acetylcholine in the Hippocampus. Large organ representation areas for the Adrenal gland & Hippocampus may exist at these front teeth. This method can be used for emergency pain control and can explain the beneficial effect of bruxism and tooth brushing, through the increase of DHEA levels and activities of the Hippocampus by increasing Acetylcholine. Increasing NC telomere to optimally high level resulted in disappearance of pain and improvement or significant reduction of malignant tumor.

This case report aimed to treat a 48-year-old healthy male patient with a chief complaint of sensitivity and receding gums concerning the lower front tooth region. Intraoral examination revealed class I gingival recession i.r.t. 31 and 41. A two-stage modied approach using de-epithelialized gingival graft (DGG) was used to increase the gingival thickness at rst stage followed by the minimally invasive pouch and tunnel technique with bi-layered A-PRF membrane in the second stage to achieve complete root coverage. 3 months after the rst stage there was an increase in gingival thickness which can be owed to the use of DGG. One year following the second stage complete root coverage with stable gingival thickness and reduced root sensitivity was observed, Thus, this modied two-stage approach could be successfully used for the treatment of class I and II gingival recession.

The Archaeological Heritage Directorate of the Hungarian National Museum conducted excavations in 2018 preceding the construction of motorway M30. The site of Szalaszend–Kis-és Nagyhegy in north-east Hungary is located south of a Bronze Age earth mound. Only a few burials were brought to light from the 10th century, however, this assemblage revealed a fair amount of valuable archaeological and anthropological data. From an anthropological point of view, burial no. SNR407 was most significant, as these remains offered a glimpse into the lifestyle of this 10th-century population. The abnormal wear observed on the enamel of a front tooth of the male individual can be interpreted as a sign of a tooth-tool use, suggesting an activity when a hard object is held by the teeth during an activity that requires the use of both hands.

A 19-year-old male patient came to Unud Hospital with a complaint that his upper right front tooth was broken. The patient's right front toothaches when he consumes cold food or drinks and bleeds every morning. Pain still exists even if food or cold drinks are removed. Complaints felt since 7 months ago. The tooth now feels pain but is not as severe as the initial tooth fracture. Patients have consumed mefenamic acid to reduce pain. The tooth has never been treated by a dentist. The patient is now treated with pulpectomy accompanied by a fused to metal porcelain jacket crown restoration with a cast post-core. After controlling for one week after treatment, the desired result is the loss of subjective and objective complaints in the patient.

Odontomas are commonly encountered benign odontogenic tumours. They are broadly classified as complex and compound odontoma. This paper describes a case of compound odontomas in paediatric patient that remained undiagnosed because of asymptomatic nature. This case was reported to the dental clinic for missing upper front tooth and compromised aesthetics. A conservative surgical approach was followed to remove odontoma. This paper also describes the rare consequence, i.e., transformation of benign odontoma to a malignant lesion, that could have led to a more complicated clinical condition if left undiagnosed and/ or untreated. Concerning the consequences, it is advised that an early diagnosis will allow the adoption of less complex treatment and better prognosis. Key Words : Odontoma ,Central Incisor ,Malignant lesion

Malignancy of melanocytes, a pigment-producing cell, is referred as malignant melanoma (MM) which occur basically on skin and oral mucous membrane, but as well found in ears, eyes, gastrointestinal tract and genital mucosa. Oral melanomas has propensity to metastasise and invade more voluntarily than other malignant counterparts. Here we present a case of 52-year-old male patient with a chief symptom of blackening of gums in the upper front tooth region. In dental history, the patient revealed history of faulty artificial prosthesis fixed in the same region since 6 months. On the basis of a through clinical assessment, a provisional opinion of oral malignant melanoma, was prepared. On histopathological and immunohistochemical analysis with S-100 and homatropine methylbromide 45 the diagnosis of MM was confirmed.

The aim of this article is to present the clinical application of immediate implant placement with L-PRF and immediate prosthetic loading in anterior esthetic region. A 24-year-old healthy female patient reported with a chief complaint of poor esthetics in the upper front tooth region with retained deciduous teeth. On oral examination, there were retained deciduous teeth (52, 53, and 63) with congenitally missing permanent successors. The retained deciduous teeth were extracted, and immediate implant placement was done in the extraction sockets along with L-PRF membranes in one surgical session under local anesthesia. Immediate temporization was performed with composite crowns on immediately placed dental implants. After 3 months of the healing period, the final implant-level impressions were made and the temporary composite crowns were replaced with the final zirconia porcelain crowns. A 12-month follow-up was made, and satisfactory esthetic and functional results were obtained.

Immediate placement of implants into the freshly extracted tooth sockets is viable and preferable option in many cases who have to wait for healing phase in traditional implant therapy. This has been a great boon for the implant dentistry. In this case a young lady who had unusual trauma to her upper front tooth had immediate implant placed on the same day of extraction and metal-ceramic crown restored her esthetics after about 4 months. With extensive treatment planning and execution of surgical and prosthetic phases of implant therapy, immediate placement of dental implant gives wonderful results. Birat Journal of Health Sciences Vol.2/No.1/Issue 2/ Jan - April 2017, page: 230-233
