Phase composition, texture and mechanical properties of plates 80 mm thick from Al-2.8Cu-1.7Li-0.5Mg-0.5Zn-0.1Zr-0.06Sc alloy were investigated. It has been found that strength characteristics are maximum in median section (ultimate strength and the yield stress of 570 MPa and 540 MPa, respectively). In 0,25T section (where T is the plate thickness) these quantities make 530 MPa and 490 MPa, and in the short transverse direction of only 490 MPa and 440 MPa. Textural studies showed that on medium layer of a plate 0,3-0,35T thick is observed identical to a matrix and δ'-phase intensive single-component texture with an arrangement of the plane {011} parallel to the plate plane with domination of a "brass" texture component {110} <112>.

The article presents results of the research focused on suitability assessment of separated dust from formatting and grinding of cement-bonded chipboards to modify their composition. The attention was paid to dust treatment, i.e. milling and sorting. The dust was applied to chipboards in amounts of 5 and 10%. Formulas with water-cement ratio 0.60 and 0.65 were prepared. The influence of sorted dust was subsequently evaluated using setting of selected material properties. In particular the bending strength and tensile strength perpendicular to plate plane were monitored including the influence of frost on these characteristics.

This study is fulfilled to simulate numerically the interaction phenomenon of the bidimensional compressible and supersonic flow with M=2.28 of a turbulent boundary layer with an oblique choc wave. The oblique choc wave is released and oriented by a generator of choc in an angle of θw=8° on a plate plane maintained at a constant temperature. The interaction causes the detachment of the boundary layer and make it disturbed (The case of experimental study done by J. Deleuze (1995)). The contribution on the effects of turbulence and their characteristics is represented by k-w-SST model. This model is well adapted for this type of application. This study permits to underline the coherence of our analysis with existant numerical and experimental results. This simulation is effected by means of solver which based on the spatio-temporal discretization of the complex equations of Navier-Stockes with finite volumes method. We also use the Upwind scheme of second order.

In order to reshape the spherical sweet dumpling for other shapes such as flat triangle, flat spherical, etc., a kind of molding machine for sweet dumpling was developed. Three different molding principle schemes, such as the roller-extrusion molding, the pattern-plate plane-pressure molding, and the turntable with model-hole plane-pressure molding were putted forward. It took the roller-extrusion molding schemes as an example, the machine main work structure, transmission methods and so on were analyzed. Then to use UG software, the machine's overall design is completed.

Cracks in flat plates are often found to be about 45° to the plate plane for some metals and alloys. There are two identical 45° directions to the plate plane and the choice of crack direction seems to be random. Experiments have shown that, for large flat panels, the long ductile crack propagation exhibits a regular alternating pattern, i.e. the crack switches to the other direction after propagates some distance regularly. In this paper, a numerical examination of the details of the formation of the alternating crack pattern is presented. Relevant material parameters and their influencing factors to the alternating behavior of cracks are discussed.

Based on the immersion method, an analytical solution has been obtained for the problem of nonstationary heat conduction in laminated plates of complex plan shape when they are heated with interlayer film heat sources. The temperature distribution over the thickness of each layer is represented in the form of an expansion in a system of the orthonormal Legendre polynomials and, in the plate plane, it is represented as trigonometric series expansions. Temperature fields were investigated in a five-layer plate for conditions of convective heat exchange with the environment. The method suggested can be applied for designing heating systems and determining temperature stresses in laminated glazing for different vehicles
