The current research targeted to establish significant correlations between sleep schedules, mood and college performance of undergraduate students in online college during the pandemic situation. 130 undergraduate students (males and females) between ages of 17 to 21 years from universities across Delhi filled an online survey and the resulting data was subjected to analysis that gave correlations between our three variables. Significantly positive correlations were found between sleep schedules(x), mood(y) and college performance(z). (rxy = +0.538, rxz = +0.562, ryz = +0.744, each significant at p<0.5). These significant positive correlations implied that students having better sleep experienced better mood and college performance, along, better mood leading to a good college performance for undergraduate students and vice versa.

College is a fantastic opportunity. For most parents, the goal of a good college selection is that their student will learn and thrive in that environment. The three elements necessary for happiness and success in college are a relationship with friends, ongoing communication with parents, and relationships with faculty or mentors. Although parents are no longer present, continued connection is important but needs to be weighed against a student’s need for increasing levels of independence. Students need some room to develop the skills of self-regulation, assertiveness, and self-efficacy to solve problems themselves with supportive parents in the background. The four years of college are a process of development also and the chapter reveals the predictable social issues that occur during this time.

It is a question with which surely many university professors debate: what turns a Cinema professor into a good College Professor? Obliterating the subjectivity of the adjectivation, I believe that this is the ultimate goal of every academic or professional who has embraced the career of specialized art and cultural education. Nevertheless, the undefinition or constant debate around concepts such as Art, New Media, History, Canon, Experimentalism, Utopia or even Freedom, often associated with film schools, raise the question. How to properly define the programs of the curricular units? How to establish evaluation criteria? How to meet the expectations of a whole faculty that considers an immense variety of issues fundamental for the knowledge and development of students of the first degree in universities?
