Some apps serve as assistive technologies or digital therapeutic tools that can be used by rehabilitation professionals in the motor disability context, bringing benefits to therapists and people with disabilities. However, websites or catalogs do not provide reliable information, easy search, and intuitive access to these apps, causing access information difficulties. Therefore, this work proposes to develop a digital catalog of software focused on motor disability. This work performed a systematic search of websites and catalogs related to motor disability, a systematic search of the apps that the digital catalog would show, and a quality evaluation of selected apps using the Mobile Application Rating Scale tool. The digital catalog was developed with the information obtained in the previous phases combining the Prototyping and User Experience criteria, then assessed by final users, software testers, and a web accessibility evaluation tool. The catalog obtained a satisfactory quality score based on the end-users’ and therapists’ satisfaction when finding technological resources to use in their professional and health-care activities. This research aims to contribute to those interested in developing software for people with disabilities and encouraging them to create and design their implementations based on this study.

Public administration services for the population are very important for management, safe data, good storage, easy search when needed. This condition has not been fulfilled if data management is done manually with large amounts of data. Sukawening village, located in the southern part of Bogor, experiences this condition, the management of population data is done manually with the help of Microsoft Excel, which is an obstacle in realizing resident administrative services, including SKU, births, deaths, moving and arrival files. Solutions are needed to realize fast, efficient, and safe services for residents from lost and damaged conditions. The solution to the problem used in this research is to build an application system that is intended to manage population data. The system is built based on the web with the RAD model, a Codeigniter framework tool. With the realization of the application system, the management of population data in the Sukawening village is as expected.

Abstract Issue The regional vaccination of Lazio (AVR) and the ASL vaccination registries(AVA) that feed it, have had to adapt to the directions of national vaccination registry. The ASL Roma 4 added other implementations. Description of the Problem L'AVA must, first of all, allow easy search of subjects, defaulters and vaccination coverage for various filters but it can also facilitate the recording and analysis activity. Results The provision of barcodes allows the prompt search of subjects, the check of tax code and AIC codes of vaccines. The digital signature of the privacy and consent forms and anamnesis, taken from the “Guide to contraindications to vaccinations” directly available, allows the elimination of the paper. The possibility to go directly to AVR allows the registration of vaccinations made in other ASL. In addition, the AVA allows the compilation of the adverse event reporting form and vaccine management. The link with the portal on the ASL website allows users to download the vaccination certificate. Important is the possibility to send SMS before vaccination deadlines or appointments. The SMART-SMS allows sending videos or photos and manage a short link (http://tiny.cc/XXX) to an information page on ASL website, as well as user response SMS, that can also directly change appointments. Lessons The dematerialization of the forms leds to a greater compliance with the procedures, a more accurate anamnesis and the streamling of the vaccination session, the SMS bring greater compliance of users and an increase in vaccination coverage. The use of mobile analytics tools allows monitoring of vaccination campaigns. Key messages The dematerialization of the forms in the vaccination registry leds to a greater compliance with the procedures, a more accurate anamnesis and the streamling of the vaccination session. The ability to send SMS through the vaccination registry brings greater compliance of users and an increase in vaccination coverage.

According to the threat-capture hypothesis, fear-related stimuli have a high attentional priority. As a result, irrelevant-but-salient stimuli interfere more with a visual search task when they are perceived as threatening. We investigated the neural basis for behavioral interference in conditions that promote attentional suppression of distracting stimuli (i.e., easy search with fixed target/distractor roles). In Experiment 1, participants discriminated the shape of a neutral target (a flower), which competed for selection with a threat-related (spider) or neutral (leaf) distractor. In line with prior results, we observed larger interference from spider than leaf distractors. At an electrophysiological level, we found that participants actively suppressed both distractors as evidenced by the presence of a posterior positivity between 200-300 ms, the PD. Critically, the PD was delayed with spider compared to leaf distractors. Further, in the spider distractor condition, the offset of the PD component correlated with response time to complete the search task when the spider was present. Experiment 2 was a control experiment where we confirmed that the results depended on the execution of the peripheral search task. When participants performed a localization task on the fixation cross, the decisive results from Experiment 1 were not replicated despite equal peripheral stimulation. Our results indicate that the behavioral delay incurred by threatening stimuli is accompanied by a delay of suppressive mechanisms. In contrast, we found no evidence for initial capture followed by suppression that may be predicted by hypervigilance-avoidance theory.

Only 10 or 15 years ago, you had to spend hours, days or even weeks in libraries to find data of many kinds. Today, one has access to data at your desks at home. Therefore, the biggest problem for a real information society is not that you do not have access to the needed data, but that you cannot find it or that it takes so long to find it that you quit the search before finding the result. This is clearly shown by a Google search where you get so many results that can lead to a case of information stress or even worse information death. An easy search route and a short search time are important elements when trying to satisfy certain information needs. This topic is discussed based on two case studies: one concerning certain fixed expressions in seven Danish printed and electronic dictionaries and one concerning looking at different access attempts in six Afrikaans reference sources, including linguistic text books, books presenting the formal spelling and orthographic rules of Afrikaans as well as a monolingual dictionary. The paper argues that the applicability of the access process, as developed in lexicography, goes beyond dictionaries, illustrating the importance of a process not relevant within the field of linguistics but extremely important in the successful use of reference works.

Abstract Annotation interfaces for parallel corpora which fit in well with other tools can be very useful. We describe a set of annotation interfaces which fulfill this criterion. This set includes a sentence alignment interface, two different word or word group alignment interfaces and an initial version of a parallel syntactic annotation alignment interface. These tools can be used for manual alignment, or they can be used to correct automatic alignments. Manual alignment can be performed in combination with certain kinds of linguistic annotation. Most of these interfaces use a representation called the Shakti Standard Format that has been found to be very robust and has been used for large and successful projects. It ties together the different interfaces, so that the data created by them is portable across all tools which support this representation. The existence of a query language for data stored in this representation makes it possible to build tools that allow easy search and modification of annotated parallel data.

Online Public Access Catalogue is playing a vital role in Central Libraries and University/College Libraries. Most of the College libraries are using OPAC for easy search and retrieval of the books and it's Status in a Particular Library. The main limitation in the OPAC we are using in current system is; that we are able to search and retrieve the information about the books of that particular library, but not outside of it. When we have a scenario like if we have multiple libraries in a campus, if we need to search a book in all the libraries, we have only two possibilities to build OPAC, once to make the single database for all the Libraries or you need to ask the user to search in all OPAC Systems of respective Library manually. But both above solutions are not feasible in real time environment. So in order to have the above scenario a feasible solution we need to build a distributed environment for the OPAC, which will have all the individual databases connected remotely.

This paper presents new Quantum GIS plugin for Czech cadastral data and its development. QGIS is a rapidly developing cross-platform desktop Geographic Information System (GIS) released under the GNU GPL. QGIS is written in C++, and uses the Qt library. The plugin is developed in C++, too. The new plugin can work with Czech cadastral data in the new Czech cadastral exchange data format called VFK (or NVF). Data are accessed through VFK driver of the OGR library. The plugin should facilitate the work with cadastral data by easy search and presenting well arranged information. Information is displayed in the way similar to web applications, thus the control is friendly and familiar for users. The plugin supports interaction with map using QGIS functionality and it is able to export various cadastral reports. This paper provides ideas which can be generalized to develop QGIS plugin dealing with specific data.
