The possibilities of using gear-lever mechanisms in modern mechanical engineering are described on the example of three mechanisms from different areas of industry. For practical application, a method of structural and kinematic analysis of gear-lever mechanisms is proposed, implemented using the program module developed by the authors, and an algorithm for kinematic calculation of a gear-lever three-wheeled articulated four-link, as the most common and used in mechanical engineering, is given.

Quality is one of the basics of product selection by customers. Therefore, the main area of quality management is the identification of customers, their requirements and expectations. This is especially important in the automotive industry. Today's enterprises, wanting to strengthen their market position by improving the quality of their products, constantly control their products. Systems responsible for monitoring production allow to ensure the course of production processes in supervised conditions. The monitoring and recording of events that occur during production is of key importance. This is the basis for analyzing the stability of the production process, which is a key aspect of continuous improvement of quality. Thanks to this approach, it is possible to prevent the generation of costs related to the removal of defective products created at the manufacturing stage, as well as to reduce the number of complaints.

The design of any mechanism begins with the design of its scheme. Subsequent calculations for strength, structural design of links and kinematic pairs, choice of materials, and other stages of the design, as a rule cannot significantly change the basic properties of the mechanism. The design of mechanisms scheme on the specified properties is called synthesis of mechanism. In this work we considered the software package of kinematic synthesis of spatial gear lever mechanisms for five, seven, eight and nine parameters.
