The goal of this writing is to advocate the significance of educating and enhancing leadership qualities and skills for successful conflict management situations. By analyzing the current trends in doing business nationally and globally, understanding approaches to manage conflicts in a cross-cultural business environment we have identified professional requirements for graduates seeking beneficial and successful careers in international business, economic relationships and management. Analyzing relevant articles the author points out that today’s business environment is notably sustainability-driven and aimed at maintaining the conditions that allow it to flourish in cross-cultural teams over time. Thus, organizations’ leaders and managers are and will be aimed at building enduring business institutions. The author underlines the importance of acquiring cultural awareness, basic knowledge of conflict management and cultivating leadership qualities in the process of foreign language preparation at university. The novelty of our research lies in the fact that we have undertaken an attempt to connect the importance of leadership qualities with the relevance of analyzing conflict management in general. We also emphasize that in future the global business will undoubtedly face a talent void, and, consequently, professionals able to think and treat different situations holistically will predominate the labour market. In the article, we also share our own experience of improving our students’ leadership qualities. The conflict management grid is analyzed. Based on the recent publications we suggested some crucial steps to be undertaken to achieve success in conflict management.

Abstract The organizational development assume the unconditional support of the leadership. Over time, the researchers have developed four major behavioural theories of leadership: the trait theory, behavioural theory of leadership, situational leadership theory and integrative leadership theory. These focus on the work of leaders, what they do, what they say and what they communicate across organizational boundaries. Over time, these theories have been adapted, developed and improved according to the main objectives of the organization and each leader. The researchers in the field were those who tried to find and identify the best style of leadership, regardless of the situation they might encounter in the course of their activities. Robert Blake and Jane Mouton are among those who built the management grid. They have published more than forty articles and books that describe their theory. This management network helps to think about a manager’s leadership style and its effects on the productivity and motivation of his team. The position of a leader can be anywhere in the network, depending on the relative importance gives to the people and to the results. On the one hand, this paper analyzes the organizational development from the perspective of management, and on the other hand, after presenting the necessary explanations related to the theoretical part of the grid exemplified above, a concrete example of this grid with application in a private organization will be presented. So, the study pursued the managerial grid application and analysis on a general manager in a certified vocational training entity (AS Financial Markets Sibiu), whose managerial style could be established after a test in which he answered at 20 questions.

New technological advances based on software, hardware and new materials must be implemented in smart grids. In addition, these advanced electrical grids must incorporate elements of artificial intelligence. Advances in software development must be complemented with the development of new hardware (power electronics and active distribution among others). The aforementioned must rely on the development of new materials and sensors, which should be integrated into the smart grid. Therefore, the four areas of research based on the technologies are: Operation and Control, Maintenance and Lifespan Management, Grid Planning and Design, and Metering. The review presents the algorithms, materials, devices and others paradigms applied to smart grids, classifying the works according to the four areas of research. This review has focused on the four fundamental pillars of smart grids, on the one hand, the need for more efficient operation and control, followed by advanced maintenance management, to continue planning and designing the new grids, and for conclude with the advanced measurement. As you will see in the article, new devices, new techniques, and future scenarios will make possible the transition from the current grid to the future smart grid.

Grid environment as the cross field of semantic web and grid computing, has received significant attention recently. Our workgroup develops a resource management semantic grid named RM-Grid to enhance information process accuracy and efficiency in heterogeneity environment. This paper describes the architecture of RM-grid, mainly introduces the data translation service of RM-Grid. It puts forward an ontology based common semantic model and an XML based data model, presents the data translation algorithm between different data sources and an adapter framework for accessing distributed heterogeneous resources as well.

The demand of electricity is growing fast in recent years, the electricity supply situation was tense especially in summer and winter, power emergency brownouts as effective measures to ease power tensions, has become an important part of demand-side management. Grid Emergency-order arrangement affects the scheduling and reliability of electricity, but also directly affects the user's production and life. This article establishes a grid emergency order bit of evaluation index system from the angle of environment, resources, economy and user perspective, and uses the normalization and AHP analysis to empower indexes.
