The role of the top management commitment is in enhancing the competitive advantage through ERP integration and the purchasing strategy. Data were collected using questionnaires from 49 manufacturing companies domiciled in the region of East Java, Indonesia. PLS technique was used to analyze the data. The result of the study indicated that top management commitment influences ERP integration and the purchasing strategy, top management commitment influences the competitive advantage, ERP integration affects the purchasing strategy, and ERP integration and purchasing strategy influences the competitive advantage. One of the most exciting findings revealed that ERP integration and purchasing strategy mediated the influence of top management commitment on the competitive advantage. Top management influences, directly and indirectly, the competitive advantage. This result provides the managerial implication that the management needs to establish an ERP integration and define a proper purchasing strategy in enhancing the competitive advantage of the manufacturing company.

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) usually have limited markets and raw materials, so they cannot do mass production. The purpose of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) in Jogjakarta Pari Fish Leather SMEs is to maintain consumers and increase the effectiveness of using raw materials by integrating data on the production (factory) and marketing (shop / branch) sections using the SOAP method and REST web service. The results achieved are data integration between the marketing and manufacturing departments using SOAP and REST Web Service, as well as an ERP information and monitoring system that displays functions such as: sales charts, best-selling products, buyer's charts, and buyer's regional charts.

The world of business is witnessing the emergence of electronic supply chains (e-SC). As more business is performed via the internet, e-SCs are becoming an integral part of supply chain management (SCM). With business via the internet requiring different fulfillment approaches, traditional drivers of regular supply chains are no longer adequate for explaining how e-SC performance is driven. The task of SC professionals is more complicated than ever. This situation often leads to unsatisfied customers, which can force companies to close their doors. Therefore, understanding e-SCM performance drivers and their integration with ERP becomes a necessity. Little attention has been devoted to SCM performance driver evaluation. This chapter discusses the performance drivers of e-SCs and their integration with ERPs. SCM is among the most important factors to organizational success. Effective SCM can enhance competitiveness and increase profitability. Nevertheless, SCM professionals and other actors must understand the factors that undergird driver performance.
