Let $K$ be a compact Lie group with complexification $G$, and let $V$ be a unitary $K$-module. We consider the real symplectic quotient $M_{0}$ at level zero of the homogeneous quadratic moment map as well as the complex symplectic quotient, defined here as the complexification of $M_{0}$. We show that if $(V,G)$ is $3$-large, a condition that holds generically, then the complex symplectic quotient has symplectic singularities and is graded Gorenstein. This implies in particular that the real symplectic quotient is graded Gorenstein. In case $K$ is a torus or $\operatorname{SU}_{2}$, we show that these results hold without the hypothesis that $(V,G)$ is $3$-large.

In this paper, we discuss about almost complex structures and complex structures on Riemannian manifolds, symplectic manifolds and contact manifolds. We have also shown a special comparison between complex symplectic geometry and complex contact geometry. This paper combines probabilistic and algebraic techniques for computing quantum expectations of operator exponentials (and their products) of quadratic forms of quantum variables in Gaussian states. Such quadratic-exponential functionals (QEFs) resemble quantum statistical mechanical partition functions with quadratic Hamiltonians and are also used as performance criteria in quantum risk-sensitive filtering and control problems for linear quantum stochastic systems. We employ a Lie-algebraic correspondence between complex symplectic matrices and quadratic-exponential functions of system variables of a quantum harmonic oscillator. The complex symplectic factorizations are used together with a parametric randomization of the quasi-characteristic or moment-generating functions according to an auxiliary classical Gaussian distribution. This reduces the QEF to an exponential moment of a quadratic form of classical Gaussian random variables with a complex symmetric matrix and is applicable to recursive computation of such moments.

Abstract In this paper we consider a special class of completely integrable systems that arise as transverse Hilbert schemes of d points of a complex symplectic surface S projecting onto ℂ via a surjective map p which is a submersion outside a discrete subset of S. We explicitly endow the transverse Hilbert scheme Sp[d] with a symplectic form and an endomorphism A of its tangent space with 2-dimensional eigenspaces and such that its characteristic polynomial is the square of its minimum polynomial and show it has the maximal number of commuting Hamiltonians. We then provide the inverse construction, starting from a 2ddimensional holomorphic integrable system W which has an endomorphism A: TW → TW satisfying the above properties and recover our initial surface S with W ≌ Sp[d].
