Adolescence is a period of storm and stress, because adolescents experience many challenges both from themselves (biopsychosocial factors) and the environment (environmental factors). If adolescents do not have the ability to face these challenges, they can end up with complex health problems as a result of their risky behavior. The establishment of the Youth Posyandu is expected to be a forum to facilitate adolescents in understanding adolescent health problems, find alternative solutions to problems, form youth support groups, expand the reach of the PKPR Health Center, especially for regional youth who have limited access. The purpose of this community service is to provide health education about Adolescent Reproductive Health through the “Pashmina” Youth Posyandu in the New Normal Covid 19 Era. The health education methods carried out are (1) Socialization and Licensing, (2) Affirmation and Pre Test (3) Conducting Health education on Adolescent Reproductive Health. (4) Evaluation of the results of health education activities with Post Test. The results of the activity are expected to increase and understand Adolescent Reproductive Health as indicated by an increase in adolescent reproductive health from the results of the Pre Test (before Health Education) and Post Test Results (after health education).

This chapter moves readers from Andrew Smith’s adolescence-as-dystopia to the popular animated Netflix series Big Mouth, which represents adolescence as a horror show. Like Grasshopper Jungle, Big Mouth provides audiences with monstrous avatars for the storm and stress of adolescence. Instead of horny, rampaging mutant mantises, however, Big Mouth offers viewers Hormone Monsters, haunted houses, ghosts, and other Gothic tropes as embodiments of those anxieties that surround puberty and its horrifying humiliations. Unlike Grasshopper Jungle, Big Mouth universalizes queerness, celebrates the polymorphous perversity of childhood, and uses camp to defuse many of the anxieties that attend other representations of adolescent sexuality. Big Mouth offers us a kind of camp with strong ties to shame—what Kathryn Bond Stockton calls “dark camp”—and illustrates how shame and debasement can function as a powerful model of relationality, one that unites the show’s young protagonists through shared queer feelings.

In 1925, Mead traveled to Samoa for the fieldwork that would become her first and still most famous book. She sought to discover whether adolescence was always marked by “storm and stress,” suggesting that these struggles were rooted in biology, or whether adolescence might proceed very differently in different societies, suggesting that human experiences were culturally constructed. Sexuality was the “sizzle” that made Coming of Age in Samoa so popular, but its argument in favor of cultural construction was even more significant, withstanding even decades-later attacks on Mead’s research. At the same time that Mead established her academic reputation, her first marriage faltered and she fell in love with a mercurial fellow anthropologist, Reo Fortune. Her Christian faith was buffeted in this period, but she insisted that she never completely lost it.

This chapter goes on to discuss the literary expression of the public mood, including such vehement outbursts as those against Jews for both staying and running away. It remarks that the gallows humour about “stringing 'em up” seems excessive. But words have no less right than deeds to be judged with a tolerant eye that distinguishes the storm and stress of a fledgling movement from its core values. In giving it the benefit of the doubt, one must not overlook its benefits. One should also acknowledge the stance of a leadership which has explicitly said time and again that it disapproves of the violations it has authorised.
