WhatsApp is mobile messaging application which is widely used in communication. However, its use in marketing communication is relatively new. This study investigates WhatsApp user profile, factors that influence the use of WhatsApp and relationship between the factors with WhatsApp usage level in fruit marketing communication. Respondents were selected using census method by taking all fruit wholesalers in Giwangan Fruit Central Market, the largest fruit market in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Data were analyzed using descriptive methods and Spearman Rank correlation. The results showed that majority of WhatsApp users among traders are male in millennial age, with high school education. Furthermore, the convenience in use and economical reason were the most influential factors in the use of WhatsApp on marketing communication. Moreover, this study found that there was a strong and positive correlation between benefits factors and the use of WhatsApp on fruit marketing communication.

<p><em>Dwelling is not only about a solid building, but also the activity system. Squatter Dwelling or kampong has varies identity and one can be described from their spaces usage colerated with their activity. It can be seen with substantial changes in the house users, their daily needs, economical reason, and their cultural environment. The research takes a case study in Kampung Kenteng, Kelurahan Semanggi, Kecamatan Pasar Kliwon, Surakarta. This research aims to signify flexibility values as design strategy by discover the use of compact housing as a multifunctional and adaptable space which can acomodate the needs of daily and economical living in limited space of Kampung with the creative use of flexibility. This paper present a comperhensive review of eleven points of flexibility which are permeability, versatility, legibility, expandibility, convertibility, adaptable, transformable, moveable, time cycle and time management, continuity and stability, and implemented over time. Furthermore, the theory will be implemented in the design of Vertical Kampung Kota Kenteng Semanggi to reveal how flexibility takes an important role in the arrangement of spaces usage in squatter housing with the possibility to expand and respond to changes.</em></p>

In the highland of Papua, various kinds of archaeological evidence has been used to argue the appearance of agricultural activities. Though assessing the evidence in different ways, the more relevant interpretation mostly leads to the changes of technology and economical reason. The presence or exploitation of three of the major plants such as taro, yam and bananas have brought the interpretation towards to domestication practices. The purpose of this paper is to explore the domestication practices of plants in the highland of Papua particularly to analyze the possibility of other plants that have become part of the domestication besides taro, yams and bananas. Data collections in this paper consists of literature study and also through etnoarchaeological data. The result shown that Casuarinas and some species of bean are expected has been introduced in the highland of Papua through domestication practices. AbstrakSelama ini praktek pertanian di dataran tinggi Papua telah menjadi topik yang hangat dalam sejumlah penelitian arkeologi. Hasil dari penelitian tersebut telah menghadirkan beberapa macam interpretasi, diantaranya praktek pertanian tumbuh karena adanya pengembangan teknologi serta kebutuhan ekonomi. Kehadiran beberapa jenis tumbuhan seperti talas (taro), ubi jalar (yams) dan tumbuhan pisang diperkirakan telah menjadi bagian dari praktek budidaya di masa lalu. Tujuan dari tulisan ini yaitu untuk menelusuri praktek domestikasi tumbuhan di daerah dataran tinggi Papua terutama untuk menganalisis kemungkinan adanya tumbuhan lain yang telah menjadi bagian dari praktek domestikasi dimasa lalu selain talas, pisang, dan ubi jalar. Tulisan ini menggunakan metode pengumpulan data melalui studi pustaka dan juga menggunakan data etnoarkeologi. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh, domestikasi tumbuhan di wilayah pegunungan Papua pada masa lalu diperkirakan juga telah membudidayakan jenis-jenis tumbuhan lain seperti Casuarina dan beberapa jenis kacang-kacangan.

Establishing a national economy that can grow suatainably and stable, requires the financial service sectors conducting its business in a well organized, fair, transparent and accountable manner, and be able to protect the consumer’s and public’s interests.Transparency, fairness, reliability, confidentiality, security of consumer’s data and/or information, fast, simple complaint handling and affordable dispute resolution cost become the principles of consumers  protection in the  financial services sector.The common motive to conduct an insurance fraud is economical reason, that is for obtaining a financial benefit/advantage. Broadly, a fraud in insurance can be classified into 3 (three) main dimensions: dimension of the subject i.e the fraudsters; dimension of time, ie. the time during the process of underwriting and the process of claim; dimension of behaviour that is opportunistic act (soft fraud) or planned fraud (hard fraud). The insurance consumer’s awareness concerning the financial services sector activities is needed, so that the insurance financial services sector can be conducted in a well organized, fair, transparent and accountable manner. Keywords: Insurance Fraud, Insurance Consumer’s Protection

Islamic bank, as an alternative financial institution, is now widely accepted and has been established in various countries. In Indonesia, Islamic bank was first established in 1992 along with the revival of Islam in the country. Previously, the establishment of Islamic bank in Indonesia was hindered not because of economical reason but because of a political stigma associated with Islam especially during the 1970s. The purpose of this article is to explore how the bank makes innovations to increase its performance that makes its legitimacy high on the eyes of its stakeholders. Program KB nasional menargetkan keikutsertaan pria dalam MOP sebesar 29.825 pada tahun 2014. Namun pada kenyataannya baru memenuhi 19,68% dari total sasaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana persepsi pria mengenai KB MOP dan hubungannya dengan keikutsertaan Program KB MOP. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengambilan informan purposive sampling. Informan terdiri dari 5 orang akseptor KB MOP, 2 orang petugas PLKB, dan 2 orang kader KB. Teknik pengambilan data yang digunakan berupa wawancara mendalam. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, sajian data dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semua informan berpartisipasi dalam program KB MOP karena kondisi fisik istri informan yang tidak memungkinkan untuk menggunakan alat kontrasepsi. Informan berpersepsi bahwa dengan mengikuti KB MOP akan bermanfaat bagi keluarganya, dari segi kesehatan dan segi ekonomi. Informan menyatakan tidak mengalami hambatan apapun dalam mengikuti KB MOP baik dari segi larangan agama, pembiayaan, seksualitas, dan keluhan medis. Informan mendapatkan dukungan dari istri maupun kerabat mereka. The national contraceptive program targeting male contraceptive method in 2014 by 29.825 participation. But in fact, there was only fulfil 19,68% from total national target. The purpose of this research was to know the men’s perception about male contraceptive methode and its relation in men contraceptive program. This research was a qualitative research with purposive sampling technique. Informants for this research were 5 acceptors of vasectomy, 2 officer of PLKB, and 2 cadres. Data items were collected by indepth interview. Data items were analyzed by data collection, data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The result showed that all of informants agreed to involve in male contraception program or vasectomy because of their wife’s phisical condition who couldn’t have any female contraception. Informants were perceiving that their involvement on male contraception program would be beneficial for his family in health and economical reason. Informants didn’t have any problems in following vasectomy program from religious inhibition, costs, sexuality life, and medical condition. Informants got support from their spouse and families.
