The water that humans really need is good quality water, which is commonly known as clean water. Clean water is one type of water-based resource that is of good quality and is commonly used by humans for consumption or in carrying out their daily activities including sanitation. The most important thing is clean water is a basic human need which greatly affects human health. The stages in completing this Final Project are first to collect the required data from the Central Bureau of Statistics and BAPPEDA Medan City with literature reviews and ask questions directly to related parties about the required data. Then the calculation of the projected population in the city of Medan using the geometric, arithmetic method. The next stage is calculating the need for clean water in Medan City and calculating the maximum daily water needs and peak hours.

In this paper, we study and solve the exponential Diophantine equation of the formMxp + (Mq + 1)y = z2 for Mersenne primes Mp and Mq and non-negative integers x, y, and z. We use elementary methods, such as the factoring method and the modular arithmetic method, to prove our research results. Several illustrations are presented, as well as cases where solutions to the Diophantine equation do not exist.

This article provides a meaningful analysis of the phenomenon of giftedness, defines various ways to identify signs of giftedness and the importance of developing children's logical thinking. Also in the process of data analysis, we are talking about the effectiveness of using the Japanese horizontal arithmetic method of calculation, the so-called "mental arithmetic" in the development of logical thinking of gifted children. In order to solve the above problems, the analysis of the history, main directions and possibilities of mental arithmetic is carried out

AbstrakData PD. AbstractAccording to the data from PD Kebersihan Kota Bandung, in 2017 the percentage of the performance level of solid waste is 98.14%. However, it is visible that a large amount of solid waste dumped directly to the environment. This indicates that the existing service level performance value is unable to represent the overall solid waste service. Thus, this study aims to develop a solid waste service level index. This study was undertaken by selecting components, indicators and sub-indicators, determining the weights for the components, indicators and sub-indicators, as well as defining the aggregation and interpretation of the final index. Thorough this study, 5 components, 26 indicators and 21 sub-indicators were identified. The chosen weights for the index was the different weighting. Aggregation index using arithmetic method with the interpretation of the final index will be based on 5 categories of 0-100 scale. Keywords : service level, component, indicator, sub-indicator.

Water is a major and important resource in the process of life in the world because of every living creature whether human, animal, and plant needs water. The technology of artificial geomembrane reservoir or water tank is the small reservoir in the village land (TKD) which is built to collect the water in the rainy season by using waterproof material as the layer by utilizing the rainwater through the river around which is then used as an alternative source of clean water (water supply) in the dry season. As for the calculation methods used for this research include: analysis of rainfall area using algebra average method (arithmetic mean), the calculation of rainfall plan can be done by using disperse measurement, with the statistical parameter of the calculation result of Sd= 23.884 Cs= 1.933 Ck= 4.031 Cv= 0.233. The distribution analysis is done using the Gumbel 1 method for 10 years plan amounted to 146.601 mm/day. Rainfall intensity analysis is done by using the Mononobe method for 10 years rainfall intensity plan amounted to 6.108 mm/hour. For the next 10 years, population projection is done using a calculation of the Arithmetic method of 2.795 populations. The conclusion of this research indicates that the clean water need in the dry season at Tanggung Prigel Village, Glagah District in 2026 is approximately 0.001941 m3/sec. While the plan for reservoir debit of 0.003254 m3/sec so it is considered sufficient to fulfill the clean water need in the Tanggung Prigel Village, Glagah District.

An arithmetic method of proving the irrationality of smooth projective 3-folds is described, using reduction modulo [Formula: see text]. It is illustrated by an application to a cubic threefold, for which the hypothesis that its intermediate Jacobian is isomorphic to the Jacobian of a curve is contradicted by reducing modulo 3 and counting points over appropriate extensions of [Formula: see text]. As a spin-off, it is shown that the 5-dimensional Prym varieties arising as intermediate Jacobians of certain cubic 3-folds have the maximal number of points over [Formula: see text] which attains Perret's and Weil's upper bounds.
