Volunteer tourism is a vital formation of altruistic and sustainable tourism. This research is aimed to empirically find the relative importance of the motivation factors and the motivation realization factors for young tourists participating in the global volunteer tourism programs. The differences in the study variables across continents, gender, and frequency of participation were also scrutinized. A quantitative research approach that utilized the survey method was employed. The outcomes showed that personal development was the most vital motivator for global volunteer tourism. On the other hand, the young tourists felt that they most realized the factor of a new experience through their recent international volunteer tourism experience. The motivation factors and the motivation realization factors were consistent across the continents. Furthermore, the mean differences in the motivations, the motivations’ realization, satisfaction, and the behavioral intentions were revealed to be non-significant for the genders and the frequency of volunteer participation. By grasping the young volunteer tourists’ motivations and the experience evaluations, the volunteer programs can be advanced in consonance with their necessities and demands, which enhance the volunteer tourism experience.

This study aims to determine the effect of consumer decisions in taking mortgages at Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk Jember Branch. This study uses Chi-square analysis to determine the relationship between factors that influence consumer behavior (which consists of (1) requirements, (2) credit interest rates and (3) credit installment subsidies) also uses Coeficient Contingency analysis to know the effect on decisions consumers in taking mortgage loans at PT. Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk Jember Branch the population in this study were consumers who took mortgage loans at PT. State Savings Bank (Persero) Tbk. Jember Branch. The total population is 200 respondents where the sample uses the non probability quota sampling method which is a sampling method in which the subjects to be studied are determined in advance of the amount. The number of samples is 50% of the number of respondents as many as 100 The results of the study show that Based on the results of calculations using Chi-square analysis and Coeficient Contingency analysis, the credit application requirements, credit interest rates and credit disbursement realization factors, there is a significant relationship and influence on customer decisions in taking credit at PT. Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk Jember branch

The k-means algorithm of the partitioning clustering method is used to analyze cloud migration strategies in this study. The extent of assistance required to be provided to organizations while working on migration strategies was investigated for each cloud service model and concrete clusters were formed. This investigation is intended to aid cloud consumers in selecting their required cloud migration strategy. It is not easy for businessmen to select the most appropriate cloud migration strategy, and therefore, we proposed a suitable model to solve this problem. This model comprises a web of migration strategies, which provides an unambiguous visualization of the selected migration strategy. The cloud migration strategy targets the technical aspects linked with cloud facilities and measures the critical realization factors for cloud acceptance. Based on similar features, a correlation among the migration strategies is suggested, and three main clusters are formed accordingly. This helps to link the cloud migration strategies across the cloud service models (software as a service, platform as a service, and infrastructure as a service). This correlation was justified using the digital logic approach. This study is useful for the academia and industry as the proposed migration strategy selection process aids cloud consumers in efficiently selecting a cloud migration strategy for their legacy applications.

Purpose: To examine the voice and personality characteristics of patients diagnosed with organic dysphonia secondary to vocal fold immobility. Methods: The study comprised patients of both genders, attending the Clinic School of Speech Therapy of the Federal University of Paraíba, with otorhinolaryngological diagnosis of vocal fold immobility and speech therapy diagnosis of dysphonia. The self-assessment of voice was measured through a Vocal Screening Protocol and Voice Symptoms Scale (VoiSS), the voice was collected for auditory-perceptive evaluation, and the Factorial Personality Battery (FPB) was used. Descriptive statistical analysis was performed to determine the frequency, mean, and standard deviation of the studied variables. Results: Eight patients participated in the study, of both genders, with average age of 40.4±16.9 years. The more frequent risk factors were the personal ones (4.7±2.1). In the VoiSS, the patients presented a higher average in the limitation score (34.1±15.7). From the auditory-perceptive evaluation, moderate intensity of vocal deviation was obtained, with predominant vocal roughness (57.7±25.2). In the FPB, the patients had an average higher than the cutoff scores in neuroticism (3.8±1.4) and accomplishment (5.2±1.0). Conclusion: The predominant vocal parameter was roughness. The patients referred to a few risk factors that compromise the vocal behavior and presented the neuroticism and realization factors as a highlight in their personality. Thus, individuals with vocal fold immobility show personality characteristics that may be a reflection of their voice disorder, not a factor that determines their dysphonia.

The pharmaceutical industry is one of the most innovative and research-intensive industries in the world. For example, five out of the top global Research and Development (R&D) companies were pharmaceutical companies. However, the industry is lagging behind other industries in adopting Business-to-Business (B2B) and supply chain technologies. With supply chain costs constituting around 25-40% of an organization's operating expenses, it is imperative for senior pharmaceutical executives to minimize this cost. Hence, the main objective of this chapter is to identify key B2B e-commerce management, evaluation, and benefits realization factors and challenges within the Australian pharmaceutical supply chain. The results of this study suggest that pharmaceutical companies not only need to carefully examine their B2B investment management and evaluation practices but also must invest in using appropriate evaluation methodologies for identifying and managing benefits, risks, and costs associated with their investments in B2B and supply chains.

The interrelations of the amplitudes of accelerations and oscillation spectra are established, whose special features are connected with the nonlinearly elastic and inelastic phenomena in the soils under the strong impact. The analysis of a whole series of the factors determining the level of seismic intensity is carried out. It is shown that the conditions for mapping of seismic zoning are created not in the traditional units of intensities, but directly in the accelerations unit. The calculated and instrumental-calculated methods of seismic zoning give the possibility to present the results in the form of accelerations. Consequently, in addition to the traditionally used intensity increments, it is necessary to obtain the results of the basic instrument method of seismic zoning also in the kind of accelerations. The universal indices are proposed, which can be used to account the accelerations implicitly, which are characterized by simplicity of obtaining and by large generality. The need for further refinement of the obtained indices for the purpose of the standardization of criteria is shown

Parameters-factors as conditions and reasons defining one or another quality of state and process of labor behavior are demonstrated in this article. The said factors are: choice made by a person, labor situations, compensation for labor, person’s interests and needs, person’s psychological state, comparison as stimulating power of worker’s activity, worker ’s labor potential. To study the factors defining success of labor activity is necessary for deeper understanding of behavior reasons and directions of administrative influence in order to increase worker’s effectiveness. By synthesis of labor behavior different characteristics from the point of view related to work efficiency increase, it is possible to have a more precise orientation for detection of cause-and-effect relations which are very important in management.
