Constitutions and constitutional constructs offer executives a repository of fuzzy sources of power which enable unilateral action. This chapter focuses on one of these forms: executive making of (semi)-formal unilateral measures. These orders and edicts have an important edge: on their face, they are ‘lawlike’, and seemingly carry the imprimatur of binding law, even when their legal status is fuzzy. The chapter uses comparative methodology in order to show the strong similarity between such measures as they emerged and continue to be applied in the two systems compared in this book. Orders in Council, Executive Orders and the like, such as the ones brought before the courts in Bancoult and Youngstown, have been at the focus of extensive study; yet to date, such measures, issued in both systems, have never been conjointly discussed. This chapter offers the first comparative analysis. This novel comparative exercise leads to the discovery of a surprising convergence—surprising, if attention is focused on structural regime elements. The findings support two of the main themes advanced in this book: that the emergence and retention of fuzzy legality is an unavoidable feature of the state, despite the ingrained danger it poses to the proper functioning of democracies. A third theme, concerned with the need to constrain fuzziness by robust judicial oversight, is addressed in the last chapter of this book. This chapter also offers new insights on the unclear distinction between constitutional- and statute-derived fuzziness, again, a feature shared by both systems.

National sports in physical education lessons are characterized by average sports indicators and mass character. National games of this level are held during lessons in physical education or in extracurricular time. Features - during systematic studies, leisure time organization with a slope of a healthy lifestyle, hardening of health, and rational use of outdoor activities significantly increase the healing effect. Comparing other methods used for these purposes, they set high requirements for hardening the body and therefore the high goals set justify themselves. Classes held in a strictly regulated mode according to the well-known system are mainly conducted under the guidance of coaches for various types of national games, in some cases, volunteer trainers. The sports training of the younger generation and its structural regime are streamlined with the capabilities of the sports base, sports equipment, equipment and other circumstances. Kazakh national games and sports, as well as classic sports and games, have a regular need for competitive activity, their special training, level requirements and achievements.

AbstractGeological strain analysis of sedimentary rocks is commonly carried out using clast-based techniques. In the absence of valid strain markers, it can be difficult to identify the presence of an early tectonic fabric development and resulting layer parallel shortening (LPS). In order to identify early LPS, we carried out anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility (AMS) analyses on Mississippian limestones from the Sawtooth Range of Montana. The Sawtooth Range is an arcuate zone of north-trending, closely spaced, west-dipping, imbricate thrust sheets that place Mississippian Madison Group carbonates above Cretaceous shales and sandstones. This structural regime is part of the cordilleran mountain belt of North America, which resulted from accretion of allochthonous terrains to the western edge of the North American continent.Although the region has a general east–west increase in thrust displacement and related brittle deformation, a similar trend in penetrative deformation or the distribution of tectonic fabrics is not observed in the field or in the AMS results. The range of magnetic fabrics identified in each thrust sheet ranges from bedding controlled depositional fabrics to tectonic fabrics at a high angle to bedding.

Rac1 activation is at the core of signaling pathways regulating polarized cell migration. So far, it has not been possible to directly explore the structural changes triggered by Rac1 activation at the molecular level. Here, through a multiscale imaging workflow that combines biosensor imaging of Rac1 dynamics with electron cryotomography, we identified, within the crowded environment of eukaryotic cells, a unique nanoscale architecture of a flexible, signal-dependent actin structure. In cell regions with high Rac1 activity, we found a structural regime that spans from the ventral membrane up to a height of ∼60 nm above that membrane, composed of directionally unaligned, densely packed actin filaments, most shorter than 150 nm. This unique Rac1-induced morphology is markedly different from the dendritic network architecture in which relatively short filaments emanate from existing, longer actin filaments. These Rac1-mediated scaffold assemblies are devoid of large macromolecules such as ribosomes or other filament types, which are abundant at the periphery and within the remainder of the imaged volumes. Cessation of Rac1 activity induces a complete and rapid structural transition, leading to the absence of detectable remnants of such structures within 150 s, providing direct structural evidence for rapid actin filament network turnover induced by GTPase signaling events. It is tempting to speculate that this highly dynamical nanoscaffold system is sensitive to local spatial cues, thus serving to support the formation of more complex actin filament architectures—such as those mandated by epithelial−mesenchymal transition, for example—or resetting the region by completely dissipating.

Mineralization have been discovered on Tabuan Island, Semangko Bay, South Sumatera, Indonesia. Tabuan Island belongs to the Neogene Sunda-Banda magmatic arc system. Tabuan Island is a tectonic horst structure which belongs to the subduction-related, magmatically active Barisan zone along the active continental margin of western Sumatera. Basaltic-andesitic volcanics of the late Oligocene to earliest Miocene Hulusimpang Formation are distributed in a broad zone along and subparallel to the regional Semangko Fault and are hosts for several epithermal-style auriferous deposits. The occurrence of hydrothermal mineralization was first suggested from seismic identification of small intrusive bodies which form elongated northwest-southeast ridges passing through the island. Surface sampling campaigns on the island revealed significant hydrothermal alteration and mineralization with pervasive occurrences of sulphide minerals. Detailed mineralogical and geochemical studies at the Federal Institute for Geoscience and Natural Resources show pronounced disseminations and vein-type mineralization. Mineralization shows moderate enrichments in Au, Ag, Zn, Pb, Cu, As, Sb, Ba, and Mn. The association of subaerial island arc volcanism and subvolcanic intrusive bodies, the regional extensional and strike-slip structural regime, and the occurrence of epithermal-style alteration and mineralization in the same volcanic sequence along the coastal zone of Semangko Bay and on Tabuan Island reveal the great potential of this region for epithermal type Au-Ag and base metal deposits. On Tabuan Island, delineation of structural blocks and fault systems suggests that normal faults and margins of grabens may have acted as fluid channelling structures. Key words: structural geology, mineralization, Tabuan Island, Semangko Bay
