A mathematical model of the brightness structure of an ensemble of small-sized distant light objects in the plane of a photodetector is presented. The structure and principles of construction of optoelectronic systems for registration of distant and small-sized light objects are considered. A method for constructing of algorithms for determining the parameters of an ensemble of objects of different distances, obtained by an optoelectronic system with a digital camera of the light field, taking into account its characteristic features, is developed. A special experimental stand for the study of objects in distant conditions based on a telescopic system and a digital registrator is presented. The principal possibility of creating a light field correlator is shown. A number of algorithms and functions are described, as well as their capabilities to accurately measure the coordinates and parameters of small-sized light objects. The advantages and disadvantages of algorithms based on the continuous wavelet transform are investigated. A comparative analysis of the accuracy of determining the coordinates, dimensions, and features of small-sized objects by various algorithms is presented. It is shown, that the accuracy of determining the coordinates and parameters of small-sized remote objects by digital cameras of the light field is several times higher than by traditional digital cameras.

This paper presents the design of a high precision telescopic system consisting in three lines, with measuring principle based on simultaneous laser multilateration. The system offers the high precision of the interferometer systems and allows the autonomous tracking of a sphere joined to the spindle nose of the machine tool by simultaneous contact of all the lines. The main advantage of the system is that it allows data capture to be carried out in a single cycle thanks to simultaneous operation with at least three telescopic arms using a novel multipoint kinematic coupling. This results in a significant reduction of the time taken for data capture and improves measurement accuracy due to avoiding the effect of temperature variations between cycles and machine tool repeatability. The work explains the working principle of the system, its main components, and the design parameters considered for the development of the system. The system is simple to operate, compact, agile, and suitable for the verification of small- or medium-sized machine tools with linear and/or rotary axes.

Harvesting of mangosteen is manually by climbing trees or using simple harvesting tools that made from bamboo. In order to increase productivity, it is necessary to design mangosteen harvesting equipment by referring to harvesting anthropometry. Anthropometric data were collected from 30 (thirty) mangosteen harvesters which included height, shoulder height, knee height, arm length, hand reach up to grip, front hand reach, palm length, index finger and thumb diameter to the middle finger. The making of the tool refers to the 5th percentile data to get the maximum dimension of the tool for farmers who have SMAll and comfortable bodies for those who have large bodies. The results showed that the average harvesting height was 150 cm, shoulder height 125 cm, knee height 37.92 cm, arm length 47.62 cm, hand reach above grip 177.54 cm, forward hand reach 65.67 cm, the front hand reaches 59.45 cm, the thumb grip diameter to the index finger 37.70 mm, and the thumb grip diameter to the middle finger is 44.17 mm. Based on the anthropometric data, the design of the harvesting equipment was obtained using a telescopic system with a length of 3 m which can be shortened to 1.5 m, the diameter of the handle 3.2 cm, and the shape of the mangosteen fruit resembling the letter “V” with an aluminium plate construction.

For today, problem of fixing of partial removable prostheticappliances, and more precisely it remains not fully decidedthe term of endurance and worn down of friction propertiesof telescopic connections. Therefore, the search for improvement of fixative properties of telescopic connection sremains actual. Material and methods: Analytical study of scientific sources on the problems of replacing defects in dentition with removable dentures with fixation on telescopic crowns. The aim of this work consists in that, to educe, to estimateand compare, on thebasis of the dynamic supervisions, scientific-medical information, views of authors on the role and definition of interaction of double crown sof telescopic connection, especially with the use of auxiliaryel ements of fixing. Appearance of double crowns with a resident interval, offered Strack and Hofmann in 1966, induced scientists to perfect and develop the new auxiliary elements of fixing for the improvement of retention properties of telescopic connections. The process of search took place and takesplace in various ways: - by the use of various materials (gold, ordinary alloys, thermosetting and thermoplastic polymers, powder-like metals and compos); - by the use of different technologies (punching, founding, milling, electrotype, spark-free treatment, 3d printing); - by development of new auxiliary elements ( retention pins, rings, plunger, crossbar, attachments, hobs, petals et al); - by the use of other physical phenomena ( diffusion, dry technicians, vacuum, magneti, rheological properties). The article also highlights the views of scientists on the negative and positive aspects of the proposed technical solutions. It is informed about the proposed radically new system of telescopic connection, which is based on the use of another physical phenomenon - the rheological property of materials. The uses of the known methods, new or improved additional structural elements are mainly based on bringing of those or other changes in the primitive construction of telescopic connection. Analysing the advanced studies of many researchers, it is possible to draw conclusion that advantages of fixing of removable prosthetic appliances by means of the telescopic systems are determined by the row of their possibilities. To basic advantages of double crowns it is possible to take a complete scope the external crown of supporting teeth with simultaneous implementation of retentive, stabilizing, directing and supporting functions, and also distribution of horizontal power components of the functional loading, and wide possibility of choice of the offered additional construction elements extends possibility to the specialists in the rational system of choice of the telescopic fixing. It would be desirable to mark that the telescopic system is theoptimal method of fixing of prosthetic appliance in comparingto another ways of fixing of partial removable prostheticappliance that is confirmed by the researches conducted inthis matter. Conclusion: Thus, it was educed on the basis of review of correspondingliterature, that the best terms for proceeding in masticatoryefficiency, function and aesthetics of the tooh-jaw system removal of deformation of occlusion surface of dentalrows and injuring bite for patients with the partial loss of teethit is succeeded to obtain at the use removable prostheticappliances with the telescopic system of fixing, especially withthe use of additional structural elements.

ABSTRACT Objectives: To compare the prevalence of clinical complications between two different telescopic Herbst systems: the conventional telescopic system, with traditional rod and tube (RMS), and the Manni telescopic Herbst appliance (MTH). Materials and Methods: Ninety subjects treated with RMS were compared to 89 patients treated with MTH. All of the complications that occurred were reported, and percentages of prevalence were calculated. Results: MTH showed a significantly lower percentage of reversible complications (that did not require appliance removal) when compared to the reversible complications during RMS treatment (20.2% vs 51.1%). No statistically significant differences were found between RMS and MTH regarding irreversible complications (that required appliance removal and full re-make). All of the irreversible complications occurred after reversible complications in the RMS group, while most of the irreversible complications in the MTH group occurred without any previous reversible complication. Conclusions: MTH exhibited a smaller number of clinical complications during Class II skeletal malocclusion therapy.
