Abstract This study presents the SALBEC – Soil ALBEdo Calculator – a Python library and Graphical User Interface designed to predict the diurnal variation of the clear-sky albedo based on the soil surface properties. Such predictions are becoming more and more necessary with the increasing role of remote measurements. The software uses the following input parameters: the soil spectrum, soil roughness, day of the year (DOY) and sample location. It returns the diurnal albedo variation and, as a unique feature, optimal observation time in the form of tables and graphs as outputs. Models created with the SALBEC were compared with the data acquired under near clear-sky conditions. The comparison shows that the differences between the models and measured data do not exceed the variation of input parameters. The software is directed towards scientists and professionals who require precise estimations of the albedo of soils for different field observation times. Our software is issued as free and open source software (FOSS) and is publicly available at https://github.com/jarekj71/salbec.

The paper presents an approach to design the adaptive output tracking controller for disturbed Twin Rotor Multi-Input Multi-Output System (TRMS) by using a time receding observer of functional disturbances for compensative control purpose, without using conventional methods as a neural network. To do this, first the disturbed Euler-Lagrange model of TRMS is converted to an equivalent bilinear form. And then, secondly an optimal disturbances estimator for this disturbed bilinear system is constructed based on time receding minimizing their effect. The complete output tracking controller for TRMS is created then by combining an exact linearization controller with the proposed disturbances estimation mechanism. Simulation results show that the here suggested controller meet completely the expected output tracking performances.

The development of geomechanical monitoring of the state of near-surface arrays of quarries is an urgent task for predicting and ensuring the stability of quarry slopes. This is preceded by a detailed study of the geological and geological situation of instrument massifs, the laying of reference and working benchmarks, the methodology for measuring and analyzing the obtained displacements of instrument massifs. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the accuracy of instrumental observations with the help of an electronic total station and an optical reflector, as well as to the identification of optimal observation schemes at the quarry, which make it possible to establish rational parameters for making measurements. The distance between the reflector and the total station is set to 500m, which allows measurements to be made within ± 3 mm. The proposed measurement technique was tested in the quarries of Kazakhstan.

The existence of a 4G network in Tanjungpinang City has begun to be felt by the community. The number of 4G service users continues to increase, so optimal observation is needed on the quality of the 4G network. Analysis of 4G network performance can be obtained using the drive test method. This method is used to obtain network quality information in real terms in the field. In line with advances in drive test technology, it can be applied more easily, namely using G-NetTrack Pro software. The parameters measured to determine the quality of 4G networks in this study are SINR (Signal to Interference Noice Ratio), RSRP (Reference Signal Receives Power), RSRQ (Reference Signal Receives Quality). Location of the measurement in Tanjungpinang City with the drive test route is started from Ali Haji street– Basuki Rahmat street – Wiratno street  - Sekarno Hatta street - Yos Sudarso street - Usman Harun street - POS street - Bakar Batu street - Brigjen Katamso street - MT Haryono street. The result shows 4G Telkomsel has a good quality with value RSRP -83.48 dBm, RSRQ -11.18 dB, SINR 6.71 dB.
