PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN BERWIRAUSAHA PRODUK KULINER DAN PRODUK DAUR ULANG SAMPAH DI MASA PANDEMI BAGI IBU RUMAH TANGGA DI KELURAHAN KARANG JOANG, KECAMATAN BALIKPAPAN UTARA

ABSTRAKWabah pandemi Covid 19 yang dimulai sejak tahun 2020 tentunya menbawa banyak dampak baik daeri segi kesehatan, sosial, dan tentunya ekonomi. Dampak tersebut dirasakan oleh semua kalangan baik dari pengusaha besar sampai pada level rumah tangga. Konsumsi rumah tangga, sebagai penopang utama perekonomian masyarakat melambat secara signifikan, dimana pada akhirnya memengaruhi kinerja industri dan Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah. Usaha mikro sebagian besar di jalankan oleh ibu – ibu rumah tangga yang memiliki kesempatan dan waktu. Di beberapa daerah yang memiliki potensi sumber daya, keberadaan UMKM menjadi hal yang sangat membantu perekonomian rumah tangga. Namun di beberapa daerah, ada pula masyarakat yang masih kesulitan dalam memulai berwirausaha. Hal ini dikarenakan kurangnya pengetahuan, pengalaman, dan motivasi. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini ialah melaksanakan pelatihan kewirausahaan. Berdasarkan keinginan untuk memberikan manfaat yang lebih besar bagi ibu rumah tangga di Kelurahan Karang Joang tepatnya di RT 30, maka dengan segenap pengalaman, pengetahuan, dan berbagai hasil survei serta konsultasi, maka pengabdian ini direncanakan yaitu berupa pelatihan pembuatan produk makanan dan minuman serta produk sampah daur ulang serta edukasi berwirausaha. ABSTRACTThe COVID-19 pandemic, which began in 2020, has certainly brought many impacts, both in terms of health, social, and of course the economy. This impact is felt by all groups, from big entrepreneurs to the household level. Household consumption, as the main pillar of the community's economy, slowed significantly, which in turn affected the performance of industry and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. Most of the micro-enterprises are run by housewives who have the opportunity and time. In some areas that have potential resources, the existence of MSMEs is very helpful for the household economy. However, in some areas, there are also people who still have difficulty starting entrepreneurship. This is due to a lack of knowledge, experience, and motivation. Therefore, the purpose of this community service activity is to carry out entrepreneurship training. Based on the desire to provide greater benefits for housewives in Karang Joang Village, precisely in RT 30, then with all the experience, knowledge, and various survey results and consultations, this service is planned in the form of training in the manufacture of food and beverage products and waste product recycling and entrepreneurship education. Manufacturer’s cooperation strategy of closed-loop supply chain considering corporate social responsibility

Corporate social responsibility (CSR) has become a popular and important strategy for corporate operation and sustainable development. Meanwhile, many social or environmental incidents that occur in one enterprise could bring huge risk or disruption for the entire supply chain. This study discusses the manufacturer’s cooperation strategy of closed-loop supply chain (CLSC) composed of a dominant manufacturer with CSR behavior consciousness, a retailer with CSR investment, and a third-party recycler. In the CSR-CLSC, the manufacturer exhibits CSR behavior consciousness through considering stakeholders welfare, the retailer makes CSR investment through profit donation and the third-party recycler exhibits CSR activity through product recycling. And under the Stackelberg Game setting, we formulate four different decision-making models to investigate the interaction between manufacturer’s CSR behavior consciousness and retailer’s CSR investment, as well as their impact on the manufacturer’s cooperative strategy selection and CLSC operation. The results show that both the CSR behavior consciousness of manufacturer and CSR investment of retailer are conducive to reducing the wholesale price of new products, enhancing the recycling rate of waste products and improving the performance of CSR-CLSC members, and both of them have the function of mutual incentives. The vertical cooperation strategy of manufacturer is conducive to increasing the overall performance of CSR-CLSC, and compared with the cooperation with the third-party recycler, the manufacturer has stronger motivation to cooperate with the retailer, and it is also more beneficial to improving the CSR investment level, the waste product recycling rate, and the performance of CSR-CLSC members.

Holistic approaches and advanced technologies in aviation product recycling

Purpose The purpose of this study is to analyze existing policies, methods and technologies, which are aimed at the rational and proper handling of decommissioned aviation transport means, determination of the world trends and substantiation of the prospects for implementation of utilization and recycling programs in the aviation industry. This research is devoted to problems of utilization and recycling of decommissioned aircraft and its components: features of proper handling of aviation industry vehicles are considered; the analysis of existing methods and technologies aimed at the rational and correct handling of the end-of-life aircraft is carried out; the necessity of the introduction of the system of complex utilization of aviation equipment is substantiated; the ecological and economic problems connected with the utilization and recycling of aviation vehicles, their units and units are considered; and the relevance and feasibility of introducing recycling programs in the field of aviation industry waste management are substantiated. Design/methodology/approach Problems of utilization and recycling of decommissioned aircraft and its components are considered in this research. The analysis of existing methods and technologies aimed at the rational and correct handling of the end-of-life aircraft is carried out. In addition to this, the ecological and economic problems connected with the utilization and recycling of aviation vehicles, their units and parts are considered. Moreover, the relevance and feasibility of introducing recycling programs in the field of aviation industry waste management are substantiated. Findings In this study, the life cycle of aircraft is carried out and analyzed. The existing methodologies and approaches to end-of-life aircraft recycling and utilization are presented in this paper. The experience of the leading organizations in the sphere of decommissioned aircraft recycling, such as Aircraft Fleet Recycling Association and Process for Advanced Management of End-of-Life Aircraft, are considered as well. Environmental and economical benefits to aviation and neighbor industries, arising from the introduction of aircraft recycling systems, are shown. Originality/value The existing experience of leading companies in the aviation and aircraft recycling industry is accumulated and analyzed to show and propose the general methodology for the development and implementation methodology of end-of-life aircraft recycling and utilization.

Does an Upcycling Kimono Practice Support Recycle-Oriented Cultural Sustainability? Japanese College Students’ Perspectives

Kimono (a traditional Japanese garment worn by women) has played an important role in Japanese indigenous cultural origins. Ecological and sustainable ideas have inherently existed in kimono culture within this lifestyle. Since the United Nations announced the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in 2015, the Japanese government has focused on creating healthy spaces with a sustainable direction in mind. However, textile-related product recycling rates were relatively low in Japan at the time. This empirical study used SDGs as a conceptual framework to examine Japanese college students’ perceptions of kimono upcycling practices and challenges. A mixed method was used to analyze the data. An open-ended questionnaire was distributed to college students in June 2019 in Liberal Arts at a national women’s university (n=155). The findings showed that interest in kimono upcycling moderately correlated to those and an interest in western garments upcycling (.578; p<.01). The relationship between these variables was significant (Chi-square: 48.471; p <.001). In the qualitative analysis, a coding method was used to explore common themes of students’ awareness and knowledge of upcycling kimono practices and found four strong themes to be present. The students perceived that upcycled kimono items connected to preserving family memories, whereas others noted upcycled items were used for sustainable resources. Also, three common challenges were found: practicality, technical issues, and people’s awareness. Some students also associated items with Japanese cultural preservation. College students’ attitudes and perceptions towards cultural sustainability engagement could therefore be a crucial mediator during sustainable development drives.

Pricing and Coordination Mechanism of Supply Chain considering Product Recycling under Asymmetric Power

The concept of “green supply chain” puts forward new requirements for the recycling management of waste products. The waste electronic products are taken as the research object, and a two-stage closed-loop supply chain composed of a manufacturer, a retailer, and consumers is considered in this paper. By constructing a Stackelberg game model, the pricing strategy and profit distribution of the supply chain under different decision modes considering asymmetric powers are studied. Finally, Python is used for simulation. The results show that the gross profit of supply chain under decentralized decision is always lower than that under centralized decision-making, and asymmetric power has an impact on the pricing decision-making of forward supply chain and reverse supply chain; compared with transfer cost, wholesale price has a greater impact on coordination effect.

Investigating a green supply chain with product recycling under retailer's fairness behavior

<p style='text-indent:20px;'>Due to the rapid increment of environmental pollution and advancement of society, recently many manufacturing firms have started greening their products and focusing on product remanufacturing. The retailing firms are also taking several efforts for marketing those products and thinking more about the fairness of the business. Keeping this in mind, this study investigates the effect of recycling activity and the retailer's fairness behavior on pricing, green improvement, and marketing effort in a closed-loop green supply chain. In the forward channel, the manufacturer sells the green product through the retailer while in the reverse channel, either the manufacturer or the retailer or an independent third-party collects used products. The centralized model and six decentralized models are developed depending on the retailer's fairness behavior and/or product recycling. The optimal results are derived and compared analytically. The analytical results are verified by exemplifying a numerical example. A restitution-based wholesale price contract is developed to resolve the channel conflicts and coordinate the supply chain. Our results reveal that (ⅰ) the manufacturer never selects the third-party as a collector of used products under fair-neutral retailer, (ⅱ) the fairness behavior of the retailer improves her profitability but it diminishes the manufacturer's profit, and (ⅲ) if the manufacturer does not pay much transfer price, then the collection through the third-party is preferable to the fair-minded retailer.</p>
