Secrecy Performance Analysis of a Cognitive Network for IoT over k - μ Channels

With the development of Internet of Things (IoTs), devices are now connecting and communicating together on a heretofore unheard-of scale, forming huge heterogeneous networks of mobile IoT-enabled devices. For beyond 5G- (B5G-) enabled networks, this raises concerns in terms of spectral resource allocation and associated security. Cognitive radio is one effective solution to such a spectrum sharing issue which can be adopted to these B5G networks, which works on the principle of sharing spectrum between primary and secondary users. In this paper, we develop the confidentiality of cognitive radio network (CRNs) for IoT over k - μ fading channels, with the information transmitted between secondary networks with multiple cooperative eavesdroppers, under the constraint of the maximum interference that the primary users can tolerate. All considered facilities use a single-antenna receiver. Of particular interest, the minimum limit values of secure outage probability (SOP) and the probability of strictly positive secrecy capacity (SPSC) are developed for this model in a concise form. Finally, the Monte Carlo simulations for the system are provided to support the theoretical analysis presented.

Operation analysis of primary and secondary networks of distributed solar heating system in Tibet

Tibet is located in a high cold and high altitude area. Heating in winter is an important problem to be solved urgently, and the distributed solar heating system provides a solution for the efficient and clean utilization of energy in this area. Through the test and commissioning of the distributed solar heating system with supplementary combustion in Tibet, the operation characteristics of the heating system are analyzed from the temperature changes of the primary network and the secondary network. The research results can provide technical support for the application and promotion of the solar distributed heating system with supplementary combustion in Tibet.

Auction-Based Secondary Relay Selection on Overlay Spectrum Sharing in Hybrid Satellite–Terrestrial Sensor Networks

In this paper, we investigate the auction-based secondary relay selection on overlay spectrum sharing in hybrid satellite–terrestrial sensor networks (HSTSNs), where both the decode-and-forward (DF) and amplify-and-forward (AF) relay protocols are analyzed based on time division multiple access (TDMA). As both the primary and secondary networks are rational, honest but with incomplete network information, they prefer to obtain maximum possibility payoffs by the cooperation between the primary and secondary networks, and the competition among secondary networks. Hence, Vickery auction is introduced to achieve the effective and efficient secondary relay selection by distinct sub-time slot allocation for one shot in terms of a distributed manner. Finally, numerical simulations are provided to validate the effectiveness of the auction mechanism on cooperative spectrum sharing in HSTSNs for secondary relay selection. Besides, the effect of key factors on the performance of the auction mechanism are analyzed in details.

Dynamics of the social network of young female transsexuals that live and deal with HIV/AIDS

ABSTRACT Objective: to analyze the social network of young female transsexuals who live with HIV/AIDS. Method: descriptive and exploratory study of qualitative approach, based on the Social Network Theory, developed in a Brazilian reference hospital for HIV/AIDS, with six transsexual women. Individual interviews were recorded and transcribed, and the data were subjected to analysis of similarities through the software program IRaMuTeQ. Results: the categories observed were: 1) dynamics of primary social network and social challenges; 2) dynamics of secondary social network and the institutional prejudice. Final considerations: the dynamics of the social network is based on the lack of support of primary and secondary networks, and the containment process limits the reach of quality of life and social emancipation. To deal with this theme will provide the visibility of young female transsexuals in confronting vulnerabilities and guaranteeing human rights.
