The author analyzes the state of study of the flower conceptual code of the Polish language and culture, methods and approaches to the study of the components of the conceptual codes used in modern ethnolinguistics. The article proposes ways to expand and enrich information about the floral conceptual code of the Polish language and culture. With this aim it is necessary to take into account the data of questionnaires, onomastic sources, as well to identify cases of interaction of conceptual codes. The cases of interaction of conceptual codes are divided into two types: those in which the flower code performs a sending function, and those in which it performs a receiving function. Analysis of language data revealed that the floral conceptual code performed the sending function less often than the receiving one. Interaction in both directions is inherent in floral and anthropological, sacred, vital, temporal, locative, medical, zoological, coloristic, attributive, code of applied culture, code of emotions and feelings. The flower conceptual code acts as a donor only in relations with codes of art and science. Floral conceptual code has the receiving function only in interaction with the quantitative, numerical, action, astronomical, plant codes and code of inanimate nature. The flower conceptual code acts exclusively as the recipient in the interaction with several codes at the same time. Donors in this case can be anthropological and coloristic, numerical and temporal, numerical and coloristic, code of applied culture and sacred, zoological and code of plants, temporal and code of action, code of inanimate nature and of action, temporal and astronomical. The interaction of floral and coloristic conceptual codes represents a special type, which can be described as mutual penetration. In addition, anthropological and floral conceptual codes show parallelism in certain fragments in their subordination to the vital code.

Teaching a foreign language of a specialty in the bachelor's system is becoming more and more practice-oriented. The purpose of the study is to develop and scientifically substantiate a methodology for teaching a foreign language with elements of professionalization on the basis of identifying and comparing the national Russian culture code of goods and services and the national code of goods and services of the foreign language culture of the country of the foreign language being studied. The results of the conducted pedagogical experiment allow us to conclude that it is possible to increase the effectiveness of teaching students in the sphere of advertising and public relations by including the presented methodology in the curriculum for the discipline «Professional communication in English», as well as, when teaching other languages in the systems of bachelor's and master's degrees.

The interest of researchers in the identification and study of codes, and the absence of their final list determine the relevance. The purpose is to analyze the main approaches to reading and interpreting the concept of "culture code" in a number of humanitarian disciplines, to identify their common and distinctive features. The article briefly describes main definitions of the culture code in semiotics, which considers culture as a sign system, analyzes some definitions of this concept and its classification in the interpretation of different authors. The experience of cultural codes’ consideration and their actualization in the context of cultural linguistics and ethnolinguistics are generalized. The results proved the multidimensional character and functional mobility of this notional concept. It was found that the main characteristics of the culture code are communicative capabilities, the ability to capture and transmit the content of values and meanings in a concentrated form.

Здійснена порівняльна характеристика ряду важливих термінів, які використовуються у сучасних культурологічних дослідженнях феномену їжі. Визначена багатозначність категорії «гастрономічна культура». Показано, що концепт «їжа» має узагальнене значення. Розглянуто питання про харчовий культурний код, якийслугує маркером приналежності до етносу. Доведено, що дефініції народна, національна, внутрішня кухня набувають певних конотацій в контексті культурологічних інтерпретацій харчової поетики народу. The article provides a comparative description of number of terms used in cultural studies of the food phenomenon. The multidimensionality of the category «gastronomic culture» is determined. It is shown that the food concept has a generalized meaning. The question of the food culture code, which serves as a marker of belonging to a ethnic group, is considered. It is proved that the definitions of folk, national, domestic cuisine acquire certain connotations in the context of cultural interpretations of people's food poetics.
