HOSPITALITY PEMIMPIN KRISTEN YANG UNGGUL PADA ERA GLOBALISASI

This paper uses a qualitative-descriptive method, through this method the author tries to describe the hospitality of a Christian leader who excels in this era of globalization. The word hospitality comes from the Greek word "philoxenia" which comes from the word philos or philia which means affection, namely love and friendship, and xenos which means stranger, which is a stranger. If it is related to the world of leadership in this era of globalization, the hospitality of a Christian leader today is very much needed for the progress of the organization he leads. Leaders must be able to build hospitality to keep pace with the increasingly rapid technological advances in this era of globalization. Hospitality should be a very important value in the life of a Christian leader, but as time goes by until entering the current era of globalization, hospitality has become a forgotten value in a Christian leader. In this writing, I invited the readers especially students who want to make themselves a good leader. Of course to be a leader is not easy. The leader must be mengahadapi, the public is not small, must be an example in the midst of a society and bertanggujawab. In this paper, the method I use in a library or use several guidelines of books and journals. In this writing. I discuss about hospitalitas christian leadership in mutual cooperation traditions. I take this title, because I see many leaders who do not participate in terms of mutual cooperation, they prefer to live in the house silence of the reins of helping the people who work together. What is special about us as a prospective christian leader that must help the society discriminate against ethnicity, race and even religion. In Markus 10:43-45 "is not the case between you. Whoever wants to be big among you, he wants to be your servant, and whoever wants to be a leading part among you, he wants to be a servant for everything. Since Human children also come not to serve, but to serve and to provide His lives into a ransom for many people". Which means whoever wants to be a leader he harusbertanggungjawab and is willing to sacrifice for his community.

Pemuridan dan Kepemimpinan sebuah Perspektif dari Pendidikan Kristen

Abstrak: Pemuridan sangat berkaitan erat dengan kepemimpinan. Pemuridan bagi kepemimpinan sangat bermakna karena sangat terbukti efektif guna mempersiapkan, menghasilkan dan membentuk pemimpin Kristen menuju serupa Yesus. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka. Langka awal adalah dengan mempelajari konsep pemuridan dan kepemimpinan Kristen. Langkah berikutnya adalah dengan melakukan analisis tentang dampak bahaya dan dampak positif adanya praktik pemuridan dalam kekristenan bagi kepemimpinan. Langkah terakhir adalah merumuskan makna dan implikasi pemuridan bagi kepemimpinan sebagai perspektif dalam menyusun pola pendidikan pemimpin Kristen. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa implikasi yang harus dilakukan dan dijalani dalam kehidupan sebagai respon dari penelitian pemuridan dan kepemimpinan ini bagi pola pengajaran dan pendidikan kaderisasi kepemimpinan Kristen, adalah: Pertama, Menjadi pemimpin Kristen yang efektif. Kedua, Pemimpin yang mencetak para pemimpin. Ketiga, Pemimpin yang berani bayar harga. Keempat, Pemimpin yang hidup dalam komunitas pemuridan. Kelima, Mengimplementasikan iman yang dipercayai.Abstract: Discipleship is closely related to leadership. Discipleship for leadership is very meaningful because it has proven effective in preparing, producing and shaping Christian leaders to be like Jesus. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method with a literature study approach. The first step is to learn the concepts of discipleship and Christian leadership. The next step is to conduct an analysis of the harmful and positive impacts of the practice of discipleship in Christianity for leadership. The final step is to formulate the meaning and implications of discipleship for leadership as a perspective in formulating the pattern of Christian leader education. The results of this study conclude that the implications that must be carried out and lived in life as a response to this discipleship and leadership research for the pattern of teaching and cadre education for Christian leadership are: First, Become an effective Christian leader. Second, Leaders who print leaders. Third, leaders who dare to pay the price. Fourth, Leaders who live in a community of discipleship. Fifth, implement the faith that is believed.

The Influence Of The Leadership And Character Of A Pastor On The Spiritual Growth Of The Congregation At The GPdI Alfa Omega Church.

Leadership is a task given by Jesus Christ to Christians through His Church. Leaders are needed by every human being to achieve happiness and prosperity in all fields. Thus the Church has an important role in improving leadership for the spiritual growth of God's congregation because through qualified leaders people can understand correctly how to actually follow God. With this quality leader, people can understand who and for what God created them. Seeing the existence of a congregation that always needs guidance in spiritual growth, and that requires someone who can accompany The congregation is a leader or shepherd who is often referred to as the Pastor of the congregation. And not many Christian ministers or often referred to as Congregational Pastors have these criteria. So that they cannot be an example in the lives of the people they lead. So there are criteria set out in the Bible to become a Christian leader with quality and character. A leader is someone who deserves to be a role model for others because the leader has good character and becomes a leader blessing for the church he leads.

Karakteristik Pemimpin Kristen Menurut Kitab 2 Timotius Dan Relevansinya Bagi Pelayan Generasi Milenial

Christian leaders based on the book of 2 Timothy have three characteristics namely in spirituality, credibility and capability. A Christian leader who does not have spiritual characteristics will be trapped in worldliness. If you don't have credibility, you will become a leader who has bad character. When they don't have capabilities, a Christian leader doesn't have the skills needed to lead. This research uses descriptive qualitative method where the instruments used are observation and interview techniques. The results of the study of data collected indicate that there are relevance characteristics of Christian leaders for millennial generation servants at GSJA Jakarta.Pemimpin Kristen berdasarkan kitab 2 Timotius memiliki tiga karakteristik yakni dalam spiritualitas, kredibilitas dan kapabilitas. Seorang pemimpin Kristen yang tidak memiliki karakteristik spiritualitas akan terjebak pada sifat keduniawian. Apabila tidak memiliki kredibilitas maka akan menjadi pemimpin yang memiliki karakter buruk. Ketika tidak memiliki kapabilitas maka seorang pemimpin Kristen kurang mampu menjalankan kepemimpinan dengan baik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif di mana instrumen yang dipergunakan adalah teknik observasi dan wawancara. Hasil kajian data yang dikumpulkan menunjukkan terdapat relevansi yang signifikan dari karakteristik pemimpin Kristen bagi pelayan generasi milenial di GSJA Jakarta.

Kepemimpinan Tuhan Yesus di Masa Krisis Sebagai Model Kepemimpinan Kristen Saat Ini

Secular leadership is not the same as leadership inherited from the Lord Jesus. The leadership of Jesus is a historical and inspiring leadership model for every Christian leader from time to time. The superiority of Jesus' leadership model stems from the communication of the Father's vision to his followers with a touch of compassion which is the basis of His leadership.In this study the authors used qualitative methods. While the data collection process, the method approach used is literature study. Through a series of research conducted, there are various leadership models that are found, but the Christ leadership model provides superior characteristics and models, especially in times of crisis like today.Keywords: Leadership, Jesus, Christian.Abstrak: Kepemimpinan sekuler tidak sama dengan kepemimpinan yang diwariskan oleh Tuhan Yesus. Kepemimpinan Yesus di dunia merupakan model kepemimpinan yang bersejarah dan menginspirasi bagi setiap pemimpin Kristen dari zaman ke zaman. Keunggulan model kepemimpinan Yesus bertolak dari komunikasi visi Bapa kepada para pengikut dengan sentuhan belaskasihan yang menjadi dasar kepemimpinan-Nya. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan metode kualitatif. Sementara proses pengumpulan data, pendekatan metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur. Melalui serangkaian penelitan yang dilakukan, terdapat beragam model kepemimpinan yang dijumpai, namun model kepemimpinan Kristus memberikan ciri dan model yang unggul, terutama dalam masa-masa krisis seperti saat ini.Kata kunci: Kepemimpinan, Yesus, Kristen.

Memaknai Kisah Daud dan Batsyeba Melalui Kritik Naratif Dalam Teks 2 Samuel 11:1-27

David was a clever king, great at war, correct in making decisions, sincere and loyal. However, the writer book of 2 Samuel did not consider King David to be a great dan perpect king in his leadership. David had a week point too, so that David’s sin was told frankly. This study aims to interpret David weakness in the story of David and Bathsheba (2 Samuel 11: 1-27) through the method of narrative criticism, then it can be provide relevance for today's life. The result of the narrative criticism that has been done is David disregarded God's law in using his power, even he was sleeping with Bathsheba, the Uriah wife’s. Bathsheba and the other characters in the narrative are only supporting figures representing small people to criticize David's power. The results of this interpretation can be relevant for Christian leaders today. This text means that everything we are doing must be in accordance with God's perspective. A Christian leader in his power must be under God's law, because a leader is an example and role model for many people. Daud adalah seorang raja yang pandai, hebat dalam peperangan, tepat dalam mengambil keputusan, tulus dan setia. Namun, penulis kitab 2 Samuel tidak menganggap raja Daud sebagai raja yang hebat dan sempurna dalam kepemimpinannya. Daud juga mempunyai titik kelemahan sehingga dosa Daud pun diceritakan dengan terus terang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaknai kelemahan Daud dalam kisah Daud dan Batsyeba (2 Samuel 11:1-27) melalui metode kritik naratif, kemudian direlevansikan bagi kehidupan masa kini. Hasil dari kritik naratif yang sudah dilakukan adalah Daud tidak menghiraukan hukum Allah dalam menggunakan kekuasaannya, ia tidur dengan Batsyeba, istri Uria. Batsyeba dan tokoh lain dalam narasi hanyalah tokoh pendukung yang mewakili orang-orang kecil untuk mengkritik kekuasaan Daud. Hasil penafsiran ini dapat direlevansikan bagi para pemimpin Kristen masa kini. Teks ini bermakna bahwa segala sesuatu yang dilakukan harus sesuai dengan perspektif Allah. Seorang pemimpin kristen dalam kekuasaannya harus berada di bawah hukum Allah, sebab seorang pemimpin adalah teladan dan panutan bagi banyak orang.

Peran Elkana dan Hana terhadap Masa Kecil Samuel: Tahap Awal Mencetak Pemimpin Kristen

Christian leadership is an important thing that must be prepared properly. Christian values must be a value that differentiates them from other leadership values. A Christian leader is not just an ordinary leadership role. Christian leaders must also be able to prepare a leadership successor. In the leadership of Imam Eli, Samuel was the successor to the leadership chosen by God. Samuel was a stranger to Imam Eli, but God prepared Samuel to be the successor of Imam Eli's leadership. This study is a qualitative study using the literature study method. This study examines the attitudes and roles of Elkanah and Hannah as parents in Samuel's childhood life. The results obtained are: First, parents who are obedient and loyal to God have an important role in the early stages of forming a Christian leader. Second, parents must take care and must prepare each child properly in order to be able to serve God and to become a Christian leader. After caring for and preparing a child, parents must also give consent for their child to serve God. Christian leadership is not formed in an instant way, but is formed when prospective Christian leaders are young.AbstrakKepemimpinan kristen adalah hal penting yang harus dipersiapkan dengan baik. Nilai-nilai kekristenan harus menjadi nilai yang membedakan dengan nilai kepemimpinan yang lainnya. Seorang pemimpin kristen bukan hanya sekedar menjalankan peran kepemimpinan yang biasa saja. Pemimpin kristen juga harus mampu menyiapkan seorang penerus kepemimpinan. Di dalam kepemimpinan Imam Eli, Samuel adalah penerus kepemimpinan yang dipilih Tuhan. Samuel adalah orang asing bagi Imam Eli, tetapi Tuhan menyiapkan Samuel untukbisa menjadi penerus kepemimpinan Imam Eli. Kajian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang menggunakan metode studi pustaka. Kajian ini meneliti sikap dan peran Elkana dan Hana sebagai orang tua di dalam kehidupan masa kanak-kanak Samuel. Hasil kajian yang diperoleh adalah: Pertama, orang tua yang taat dan setia kepada Tuhan mempunyai peran penting di dalam tahap awal pembentukan seorang pemimpin kristen. Kedua, orang tua harus merawat dan harus mempersiapkan setiap anaknya dengan baik dengan tujuan untuk bisa melayani Tuhan dan untuk menjadi seorang pemimpin kristen. Setelah merawat dan mempersiapkan seorang anak, orang tua juga harus memberi persetujuan kepada anaknya untuk bisa melayani Tuhan. Kepemimpinan kristen tidak dibentuk dengan cara instant, tetapi dibentuk sejak calon pemimpin kristen berusia kanak-kanak.

JULIAN, AETIUS AND ‘THE GALILEANS’

By the mid fourth century c.e., violently divergent Christian communities had developed across the Roman empire: Nicene or Homoousian (God and Jesus ‘are of the same substance’), Homoiousian (‘are of similar substance’), Homoian (Jesus is ‘like’ God), Anomoean or Heterousian (God and Jesus ‘are of different substance’) and others. The first emperor to be a strong supporter of traditional cult in more than a generation, Julian ruled over an empire of numerous religious groups that were often at variance with one another, both extra- and intra-communally, and how all of these should be treated was one of the chief problems pressing the emperor upon his accession in late 361. Julian's religious thought and action during his short sole reign (3 November 361 to 26 June 363) has long exercised scholars, its impact on Christians and Christianity in particular. To be sure, Julian tended to be hostile to Christians and Christianity, but he was by no means hostile to all, and he even favoured some Christians, some of whom he counted among his friends and officials. The emperor's Christian policy thus was complicated. One of the best examples of this complexity is Julian's epistle to the Heterousian Christian leader Aetius (Ep. 15 Wright = 46 Bidez). In a shorter note published in this journal, Pierre-Louis Malosse focussed his attention on Julian's letter to Aetius, which dates to early 362 and which is the only such epistle to this future bishop that is extant. As transmitted, Julian's missive to Aetius is critical for the light it helps to shed on the emperor's views and treatments of Christians at the outset of his sole reign, and my conclusions on this missive differ from those of Malosse.
