Conservation translocations, including reintroductions, are practices that are vital to restoring biodiversity and ecosystem function within conservation schemes globally. Sadly, population translocations have had a poor success rate historically. At a time where biodiversity is constantly decreasing, improving translocation success is vital for future conservation schemes. Often, to improve success, the selection of individuals is based on genetic characteristics and behaviours linked directly to survival. Further development to improve selection is proposed within this paper using animal personality. The study took place opportunistically to test how personality, in particular an animal’s boldness/timidness, may influence a population restoration of red squirrels into the Ogwen Valley, North Wales. Despite frequent translocations, data on how boldness and timidness may affect the establishment of this species are low. Testing was performed on key survival behaviours and boldness/timidness pre-release. This was performed via video data collection and identification of key behaviours that could be used to identify boldness or behaviours that could be linked to reduced fitness once released. Encounters at different distance intervals were monitored post-release via camera trapping to identify if boldness/timidness may change the furthest encounter distance of focal animals away from their release site. Relationships between the period for an individual to reappear post-threat was significantly linked to boldness, with other behavioural results and the encounter distance also showing trends of a potential relationship. Our results indicate that bolder individuals have a higher chance of expressing behavioural traits that will increase exposure to risks and, therefore, reduce the likelihood of successfully establishing populations. However, the small sample size of this study means that further research is needed. We suggest that during early stages of conservation translocation programmes, personality testing for boldness should become common practice, and we recommend selecting timid individuals for an initial release to improve population establishment, with bolder individuals utilised later to expand population distribution.

Kata Kunci : Analisis, Keberhasilan dan Kegagalan, Screen Offense  ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the percentage of successes and failures of screen offense girl basketball team University of Jakarta in the League of Basketball Students Prim-A Greater Jakarta Conference 2019. This research method used descriptive method with existing video data collection techniques. The population in this study were all players of girl basketball team University of Jakarta in the League of Basketball Students Prim-A Greater Jakarta Conference 2019 , as many as 12 people. The study used a total sampling technique to obtain research samples because when competing all players did screen offense, the samples in this study were all girl basketball players at University of Jakarta. The results of the screen offense analysis on the video of the University of Jakarta competed against University of Tarumanegara obtained 15 times succeeded and 7 times failed, University of  Jakarta  competed against University of Esa Unggul 11 times succeeded and 13 times failed, University of Jakarta competed against University of President 28 times succeeded and 14 times failed, University of Jakarta competed against University of Pelita Harapan  25 times succeeded and 29 times failed and University of Jakarta competed against Perbanas Institute 20 times succeeded and 6 times failed, known data from 5 matches obtained 99 times screen offense successfully, which resulted in a percentage of 59% success and 69 times screen offense failed which resulted in 41% failure.  Keywords: Analysis, Success and Failure, Screen Offense

Consumer versions of the passive 360° and stereoscopic omni-directional camera have recently come to market, generating new possibilities for qualitative video data collection. This paper discusses some of the methodological issues raised by collecting, manipulating and analysing complex video data recorded with 360° cameras and ambisonic microphones. It also reports on the development of a simple, yet powerful prototype to support focused engagement with such 360° recordings of a scene. The paper proposes that we ‘inhabit’ video through a tangible interface in virtual reality (VR) in order to explore complex spatial video and audio recordings of a single scene in which social interaction took place. The prototype is a software package called AVA360VR (‘Annotate, Visualise, Analyse 360° video in VR’). The paper is illustrated through a number of video clips, including a composite video of raw and semi-processed multi-cam recordings, a 360° video with spatial audio, a video comprising a sequence of static 360° screenshots of the AVA360VR interface, and a video comprising several screen capture clips of actual use of the tool. The paper discusses the prototype’s development and its analytical possibilities when inhabiting spatial video and audio footage as a complementary mode of re-presenting, engaging with, sharing and collaborating on interactional video data.

The enrolment and attrition rate in science degrees in the Western world is of increasing concern, both nationally and at university level. At the same time, teaching undergraduate science requires universities to invest in laboratories, staff and equipment to meet the initial demand of enrolling students. In this article, I discuss participant - generated video as an innovative method of research used in a study to extend understanding about the experience of science students’ experience in an Australian university. In this paper, I present the method s and practices used to explore the experience of a selected number of undergraduate science students, using a phenomenological approach. Students used video cameras to record their daily experiences and their commentaries on these over the course of a semester. This method of data collection presented interesting issues related to ethics, the underlying organization of the design, and the way the students engaged as participant - researchers. The results of the study showed that the method of participant - generated video data collection educated the students on aspects of research ethics involving human subjects and on reflecting on meaning, which enabled the students to present powerful insights into their own experience.
