Membangun Kepribadian dengan Nilai Budaya Jawa "Kenduren"

Kenduren tradition that is held because it commemorates the day that is considered sacred by the Javanese community. In Javanese tradition, kenduren is done by most people in the society who are Muslim. and also as a means of Islamic preach and prayers to Allah. Every tradition that exists,especially the kenduren tradition must have positive values which we can use for reference in building our personalities. The purpose of writing this article is to make the values of the kenduren tradition as a reference to build personality. The method used is qualitative research. Data obtained from interviews with elders in Katoman, Jogoprayan, Gantiwarno, Klaten. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that kenduren teaches the person to be close to God,clever to be grateful,maintain brotherhood and foster a sense of togetherness. The benefit of this article is to inform many Javanese traditions that we often encounter,especially kenduren traditions which have values to be applied to daily life. Building personality through values that are in the kenduren tradition is easy to apply.

The Problems and Solutions of Archaized Architectures in Chengdu Tourist Areas

The more and more archaized architectures has been appearing in public. These were neither fish nor fowl in some tourist areas of Chengdu Plain, because there are lack of Sichuan traditional architectural documents, successful examples and the fundamentals such as size,ratio,scale and modulus and so on. This paper introduce the features of Sichuan traditional architecture and find problems and solutions of archaized architecture after the survey in Chengdu tourist areas. And it also provides some means of use for reference to archaized architectures in Sichuan tourist areas.

A Trip for the Works of Epidermis Artists

Herzog and de Meuron were 2001 Pulitzer prize winners. Their buildings are famous because of the unique and amazing epidermis. In their representative works, there are two major ways to create and form epidermis. The first one is learning from the surrounding context and environment, and the second is thinking about the features of architectures. This paper, through the investigation of six of their major works: Dominus Winery in California of the US(1998), De Young Museum in San Francisco (2004), the library of Brandenburg Industrial University in Germany, the Tokyo Prada flagship store in Japan, Munich Allianz Stadium in Germany, and Laban Centre for Contemporary Dance in London, summarizes the main methods of H&dM.Architecture surface processing is becoming more and more concerned by the construction industry and the viewers. H&dMs methods of design provide our use for reference. Let us look forward to their next new work.

Research of 3D Parametric Design System of Gear Based on SolidWorks

General flow of 3D parametric design was put forward according to the characters of gear design in this study. There are three key modules, which include parameters designing calculation of gear, automatic generation of 3D parametric model of gear and automatic generation of gear part drawing, and corresponding solutions were also provided. In final an example verifies the feasibility of the method. 3D parametric design system is one of efficient and reliable modern machine design techniques. The efficiency of gear designing can be greatly enhanced by adopting 3D parametric design system, and meet the needs of modern machine design. In addition, this study gives a use for reference to 3D parametric design system for other parts.

Study on the Analysis of Secondary Anchoring Mechanism and Effective Distance

The paper is intent to open out the mechanism and effective distance of secondary anchoring in coal mine rock laneway support. Though the analysis of elastoplastic deformation, caused by heading face support removing in laneway development, the paper explained that secondary anchoring is necessary and important to rock laneway, and relatively exact data were given by FEM analysis. The paper illustrated a special example, and put it up with meticulous analysis, the results were not only having important reference value to coal mine soft rock laneway support, but also having definite use for reference to other mine soft rock laneway support.
