The study deals with the optical interconnect between VLSIs on a PCB with fluorine-containing polymers. Various aspects of the UF photolithography for making polymer waveguides are discussed. The results of the research aimed at making a highspeed optical data bus for SoC (supercomputers) with PCB polymer waveguide arrays.

Simulation has been widely adopted as a support tool for the validation and experimentation of distributed systems. It allows different devices and applications to be evaluated and analyzed without requiring the actual presence of those machines. Although the simulation plays an important role in investigating and evaluating the behaviors of devices, it results in a serious simulator building problem as the distributed systems become more and more complicated and dynamically data driven. Most of the existing simulators are designed and developed to target a specific type of application, lacking the capabilities to be a configurable and standardized tool for researchers. To solve the adaptability and reusability problems of simulators, this paper proposes a new approach to design and implement a configurable real-time digital simulator for hardware devices that are connected via data buses in distributed systems. First, the proposed simulator uses a logic automaton to simulate the activities of a real device, and generates the incentive data for tested equipment according to the predefined XML-based files. Then with a virtual bus, the simulator can receive, handle, and send data in various network environments, improving the flexibility and adaptability of a simulator design. Experimental results show that the proposed simulator has a high real-time performance, and can meet the increasing requirements of modern simulations of distributed systems.

We propose a variational quantum algorithm to prepare ground states of 1D lattice quantum Hamiltonians specifically tailored for programmable quantum devices where interactions among qubits are mediated by Quantum Data Buses (QDB). For trapped ions with the axial Center-Of-Mass (COM) vibrational mode as single QDB, our scheme uses resonant sideband optical pulses as resource operations, which are potentially faster than off-resonant couplings and thus less prone to decoherence. The disentangling of the QDB from the qubits by the end of the state preparation comes as a byproduct of the variational optimization. We numerically simulate the ground state preparation for the Su-Schrieffer-Heeger model in ions and show that our strategy is scalable while being tolerant to finite temperatures of the COM mode.

RC Network has delay propagation by wire and dynamic power dissipation. Basically it can perform two encoding techniques. They are Firstly it will reduce more dynamic power dissipation and delay propagation of wire simultaneously. Its simulation results of coupling activity  and switching activity is more when the input is in Toggle state on 8-bit  and for  32-bit data buses It increases. To reduce dynamic power is bus and total propagation delay  the encoding techniques is Introduced which reduces coupling Coupling transitions, Dynamic power. Secondly it will also reduce more total power consumption when Width of Bus and Length of Bits Increases Its coupling activity is Reduced Gradually when the Data moves for one state to another State and switching activity is Reduced
