My experience in online teaching started in April 2016. Following a professional retraining and the obtaining of the DAEFLE, I first worked on websites connecting language learners with teachers for private lessons by videoconference. Then, in parallel, I followed the Master FLE course at Grenoble Alpes University, which I obtained in September 2018. I then became self-employed and now work full-time online from the UK. I currently teach 80-100 hours of French as a foreign language classes via video conferencing per month. In this article, I will first introduce you to the audience I work with, then the tools I use, especially for sound and image management, and finally I will finish with a feedback.

The Mind’s Ear is a unique and fun series of games, exercises, and essays designed to inspire musical creativity and spark the imagination of musicians and music students at all levels. An invaluable resource for music educators, the book can be used in workshops, classes, online sessions, private lessons, and by a reader alone. Some of the games and exercises can be done without musical instruments, others require instruments, some are for groups, some for solo performers, some for composers, and some are listening exercises to be done only in the imagination. Based on theatre games, the book offers new ways to engage with musical creativity

The character of students should be able to describe the implementation of the educational process. However, so far, the educational process has emphasized more knowledge orientation than character building. It is reflected in the pride of almost every educational institution if its students succeed in achieving a high National Exam or UAN Final Score. This orientation is supported by the growth and development of tutoring institutions, private lessons, study groups, or teacher rooms. This condition triggers a real thought and action to restore the primary function of education as character building. One model of strengthening character education is through the community of Sekolah Perjumpaan in West Nusa Tenggara. This research is qualitative research with a case study approach. The subjects of this study were student participants in the Sekolah Perjumpaan in West Nusa Tenggara. This research was conducted at the community point of Sekolah Perjumpaan in Bangket Bilong Village, Midang, Mantang, and at the initiator of the Sekolah Perjumpaan. This study found that the Sekolah Perjumpaan is a model of strengthening character education, positioning students as subject to subject, and awakening students to fulfill each participant's obligations as complementary beings collectively. Thus, the character education model of the Sekolah Perjumpaan can be applied in other educational institutions.

Background: Alexander technique private lessons have been shown to reduce chronic neck pain and are thought to work by different mechanisms than exercise. Group classes may also be effective and would be cost-effective. Design: A two-group pre-test/post-test design. Participants were assigned to either a general Alexander technique class or an exercise class designed to target neck pain. Both groups met over 5 weeks for two 60 min sessions/week. Participants: A total of 16 participants with chronic neck pain (aged 50+/−16 years) completed this study. Interventions: The Alexander class used awareness-building methods to teach participants to reduce habitual tension during everyday activities. The exercise class was based on physical therapy standard of care to strengthen neck and back muscles thought to be important for posture. Measures: We assessed neck pain/disability, pain self-efficacy, activation of the sternocleidomastoid muscles during the cranio-cervical flexion test, and posture while participants played a video game. Results: Both groups reported decreased neck pain/disability after the interventions. Sternocleidomastoid activation decreased only in the Alexander group. Conclusion: In this small preliminary study, Alexander classes were at least as effective as exercise classes in reducing neck pain and seemed to work via a different mechanism. Larger, multi-site studies are justified.

At this time technology has developed rapidly, without exception in the field of education. One of the technological developments in education is tutoring. Many students still need tutoring or private lessons to improve their abilities and meet the set passing grade standards. In addition, the catching power of each child in receiving subject matter at school is different so that not all are able to understand the material using offline or online methods. The purpose of this application is to make it easier and help the difficulties experienced by students and teachers to connect with each other and carry out private lessons. This application uses the method of observation and literature study. The method of making this application is the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) prototype model. The expected results from making this application are so that teachers and students can connect with each other and carry out course activities easily according to the criteria desired by both parties. From this application students can choose based on the level of education and subjects they want to take and the rates offered by the teacher. Students and teachers can also choose the place of learning they want, such as studying at home, on video cameras or at the teacher's place.

Key questions for interpreting music in the United States during the nineteenth-century deal with the teachers rather than the pupils: where did they come from, what were their perceived social circles, and what qualified them to teach such a vast social array of the South’s young women? The people involved in teaching the majority of musically literate Americans remain curiously anonymous, as does their preparation and instruction. However, recognition of highly influential pedagogues exposes trends in circulation, changing musical tastes, and demands of proficiency—and thereby yields a more accurate view of music practices. Those who taught in private lessons in a pupil’s home theoretically transgressed a social wall because they were not on equal terms but occupied, if temporarily, a space reserved for those with approved standards of gentility....

As a virus which affected the world in general, the covid-19 pandemic has also created negative results on education. In this study, it was aimed to examine the opinions of elementary school students in Covid-19 pandemic process on mathematics course. The participants of the study were fifth grade elementary school students enrolled at elementary schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education and Culture in Northern Cyprus. This study is a descriptive research and survey method was used in the study. As data collection tool, the questionnaire form developed by the researchers in this study was used. As a result, it was seen with this research that most of the students did not take private lessons during the pandemic period, and there was a decrease in the rate of attending private lessons or courses due to the pandemic compared to previous years. It was understood that a significant part of the students had difficulty in understanding the mathematics class during the pandemic period, but most of them enjoyed studying mathematics. While the students stated that the classes, materials and homework given to them in the mathematics class were not sufficient, many students stated that the mathematics teachers motivated them and they turned to help in case of difficulties in the mathematics course. It was seen with this research that the fact that the classes, materials and homework given to the students during the pandemic period were not effective in taking private lessons. As a result of the research, it was seen that the motivation of the teacher was not an important factor in students' efforts to understand mathematics. In addition to this result, the motivation of the mathematics teacher to learn the class during the pandemic period did not affect the students' private lessons. In addition, it was revealed that the teachers' motivation for the students does not mean that the students will make more effort to understand the class, and that this is not a reason for students to take private lessons.
