ENGLISH TRAINING WITH DRILLS AND REPETITION FOR SIMPURSIA VILLAGE CORAL CADETS

The service team provides solutions based on the results of an analysis of the situation and problems faced by partners to increase opportunities for youth members to be immediately accepted to work after completing their education at vocational high schools. In terms of the solution's form, namely training and mentoring for youth members to practice spoken English using the drilling and repetition method, the results obtained at the end of this service were: (1) positive and enthusiastic response from members of the youth organization; (2) increased awareness of the importance of spoken English proficiency; (3) willingness to take risks in order to participate; (4) increased spoken English vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation; (5) greater access to recorded voices of foreign speakers; and (6) more opportunities to practice speaking English in dynamic and enjoyable (but not monotonous) settings. (7) the availability of foreign speakers' voices in the form of mp3 recordings; (8) in their spare time, members of the youth organization are encouraged to listen to foreign speakers' voices, imitate them, and practice independently; and (9) after the training and mentoring is completed, the future availability of online sites for accessing and downloading learning media files.

IMPROVING ENGLISH SKILLS OF YOUTH ORGANIZATIONS IN PAMMANA VILLAGE THROUGH AUDIO-VISUAL MEDIA

Pammana is a village in Kabupaten Wajo, Sulawesi Selatan, where the majority of the residents work as farmers. With a low income, parents' capacity to send their children to a higher level of education is always hampered. Based on the aforementioned circumstances, the writer and team are interested in delivering English language training for the youth organization utilizing an audio-visual medium. The goal of this program was to make the training sessions more exciting and accessible to the participants through the use of audiovisual media. This English training exercise has a positive impact on the Pammana village youth group. These favorable effects might be seen as a result of the training. The learning results of the training participants improved after only a few months of following the training procedure using the audio-visual medium. Before attending the training, the trainees thought English was a difficult language to learn; however, after attending the training utilizing audio-visual media, the trainees began to feel more at ease, and they thought learning English through audio-visual media was enjoyable.

PEMANFAATAN BLOG SEBAGAI SARANA PROMOSI KAMPUNG WISATA DI MASA PANDEMI

ABSTRAK Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Kampung Biru Arema (KBA) Malang sebagai kelanjutan dari kegiatan pengabdian tahun sebelumnya. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk lebih mempromosikan KBA sebagai salah satu kampung wisata di Malang melalui media blog. Metode yang diterapkan ialah melalui pelatihan penulisan artikel blog untuk memberikan gambaran menarik terkait kampung wisata. Sebagai kelanjutan dari kegiatan tahun lalu, tim pengabdian dapat melihat bahwa media sosial KBA sudah lebih hidup dan lebih berwarna dengan postingan baru. Blog resmi yang telah direvitalisasi pada kegiatan pengabdian kali ini telah mampu mempromosikan KBA dengan lebih baik lagi karena menampung berbagai kegiatan masyarakat kampung wisata ini. Artikel-artikel baru yang ditulis oleh anggota karang taruna KBA juga cukup menarik, sehingga diharapkan para pembaca yang mencari informasi terkait KBA memperoleh lebih banyak informasi. Pada akhirnya, KBA akan semakin dikenal luas dan dapat kembali mendatangkan pengunjung saat situasi pandemi sudah mereda. ABSTRACTThis community service activity was carried out in Kampung Biru Arema (KBA) as a continuation of the previous year’s community service. The purpose was to further promote KBA as one of the thematic tourism kampung in Malang. Updating the content of the website, in this case the KBA blog, was the focus of this year’s agenda. The method used was by giving training to the youth members of KBA to create engaging articles for the official blog. As a continuation of last year’s activity, the community service team has revealed that KBA’s social media is more lively and more colorful with new posts. The official blog which has been revitalized is able to better promote KBA. The new articles written by members of the KBA youth organization (Karang Taruna) are also interesting and engaging, so it is hoped that readers who are looking for information related to KBA will gain more insights about this kampung. PENINGKATAN KREATIVITAS KARANG TARUNA MELALUI PELATIHAN FOTOGRAFI UNTUK DESTINASI WISATA GEDONG PASS (G-PASS)

ABSTRAKTujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kreativitas Karang Taruna Kridha Arum sebagai pengelola destinasi wisata Gedong Pass (G-Pass) melalui pelatihan fotografi dengan keindahan alam G-Pass sebagai obyeknya. Pelatihan ini dapat membantu Karang Taruna Kridha Arum untuk dapat menyediakan foto-foto yang akan digunakan untuk promosi destinasi wisata G-Pass melalui media sosial. Pelatihan fotografi dilakukan dari tanggal 8-10 Mei 2021, setiap hari ada dua sesi, yaitu sesi pemaparan materi tentang konsep dasar fotografi dan sesi praktik fotografi, sedangkan kegiatan pendampingan fotografi dilakukan sampai akhir bulan Juni 2021 melalui grup whatsapp. Pelatihan ini diikuti oleh delapan orang pemuda Dusun Gedong yang merupakan anggota dari Karang Taruna Kridha Arum. Peserta pelatihan diberi materi dasar-dasar fotografi, terkait pengenalan fitur kamera di telepon genggam, pencahayaan, point of interest, ruang tajam dan komposisi serta proses pengunggahannya di media sosial. Setelah mengikuti pelatihan fotografi, para peserta sudah dapat menyediakan foto-foto destinasi wisata G-Pass dengan mutu visual yang baik dan sudah mengunggahnya pada media sosial baik itu media sosial milik pribadi maupun milik G-Pass untuk mempromosikan destinasi wisata G-Pass, Dusun Gedong. This training can help Kridha Arum Youth Organization to be able to provide photos that will be used for the promotion of G-Pass tourist destinations through social media. Photography training will be held from 8-10 May 2021, every day there are two sessions, namely a presentation session on the basic concepts of photography and a photography practice session in the area around the G-Pass, while photography assistance activities are carried out until the end of June 2021 through the whatsapp group. This training was attended by eight youths from Gedong Hamlet who are members of the Kridha Arum Youth Organization. The training participants were given the basics of photography, related to the introduction of camera features on mobile phones, lighting, point of interest, sharp space and composition as well as the process of uploading them on social media. After participating in the photography training, the participants have been able to provide photos of G-Pass tourist destinations with good visual quality and have uploaded them on social media, both personal and G-Pass social media to promote the G-Pass tourist destination, Dusun Gedong. PENDAMPINGAN PEMBUATAN MINYAK SUMBAWA PADA KARANG TARUNA DESA REMPE SETELUK SUMBAWA BARAT

ABSTRAK Tujuan dilakukan pengabdian kepada masyarakat khususnya Pembuatan Minyak Sumbawa (Melala) dalam rangka siar budaya dan pengenalan pada Karang Taruna Desa Rempe Seteluk Sumbawa Barat. Pengenalan pembuatan minyak Sumbawa pada generasi muda saat ini sebagai langkah memperkenalkan minyak Sumbawa sebagai Obat tradisional sebagai obat-obatan yang diolah secara tadisional, turun-temurun berdasarkan resep nenek moyang, adat-istiadat, kepercayaan dan kebiasaan setempat, sehingga merupakan pengetahuan tradisional. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilakukan di Desa Rempe Kecamatan Seteluk Kabuapten Sumbawa Barat. Metode yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi dan praktek langsung. Hasil Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini diketahui bahwa antusias dari karang taruna dalam ikut terlibat dalam pembutan minyak Sumbawa cukup tinggi karena memberikan pengetahuan baru dalam mengembangkan budaya local di masa akan datang. ABSTRACTThe purpose of doing community service, especially Sumbawa Oil Production (Malala) in the context of cultural broadcasting and introduction to the Youth Organization of Rempe Seteluk Village, West Sumbawa. The introduction of Sumbawa oil manufacture to the younger generation today is a step to introduce Sumbawa oil as traditional medicine as medicines that are processed traditionally, from generation to generation. from generation to generation based on ancestral recipes, customs, beliefs and local customs, so that it is traditional knowledge. Community service is carried out in Rempe Village, Seteluk District, West Sumbawa Regency. The method used is socialization and direct practice. The results of this community service show that the enthusiasm of youth organizations in being involved in the production of Sumbawa oil is quite high because it provides new knowledge in developing local culture in the future. Pelatihan Google Bisnisku Untuk Meningkatkan Pemasaran Pada Karang Taruna Tunas Mandiri Desa Sukaharja

One way to market and promote sales products can be through online media such as websites, marketplaces, Google My Business, Instagram, Facebook and the currently famous TikTok. Google my business is a medium that can help marketing to promote products. Tunas Mandiri youth organizations are located in Sukaharja village, Ciomas, Bogor. Many of the youth organizations have businesses or production and the Tunas Mandiri youth organizations also open up business fields for the community to improve their economy. However, the current marketing and promotions are still less effective, so we need a medium like Google My Business, but there are still many of them who don't understand about Google My Business, such as: (1) Members of the Tunas Mandiri youth organization do not understand the use of web browser applications or the Google browser. (2). Most members of the Tunas Mandiri youth group are not familiar with Google My Business. (3) Some members of the Tunas Mandiri youth organization who are familiar with Google My Business, still don't understand how to manage a business that will be displayed on Google searches, maps, edit business information (for example, address, phone number, and opening hours). Therefore, the Google My Business training is held in the hope that it can make marketing and promotion easier and can reduce operational costs.

Pelatihan Pengembangan Diri Bagi Pemuda Karang Taruna Desa

Tujuan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) Mahasiswa ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman kepada elemen Masyarakat, Pengembangan diri merupakan kebutuhan penting bagi setiap manusia. Documentary prose with a direct description of the author's contemporaneous epoch-making problems, historical-political events or the development of public thought is always the subject of the reader's interest. Although for works of the documentary genre, to some extent, the subjectivism of the narrator is not foreign, at least its main dignity is the real beginnings.The book of memoirs "From Prison to Prison" by Ramaz Kobidze, one of the victims of the "Stalinist cohort" is very interesting.The author of the book pays special attention to the necessity of documentary prose before recollection. He considered it obligatory not only for writers, but also for state figures, to keep the last few years for the production of documentary-type works, namely memoirs. In his view, if a statesman did not leave a documentary-type work to his descendants, it would always be a cause of unrest, strife, and sometimes even civil war.From the title, a very interesting documentary based on Ramaz Kobidze's "From Prison to Prison" memoirs prepares the reader to get acquainted with and understand the work of the "Stalinist cohort", the victim of which was the author of the work as a member of the "Secret Anti-Soviet Youth Organization".In addition to the specific facts of political persecution in the Book of Memoirs, which not infrequently took place not only in the life of the writer, but also in the lives of his friends and relatives, they also provide you with inspiring images of cruelty and disorder typical of the Stalinist regime.Ramaz Kobidze's book of memoirs "From Prison to Prison" is an extremely interesting source for studying not a single important event of Soviet existence. Pemantapan Karang Taruna dan Pekan Ambyar Desa Morang Kec. Kare Kab. Madiun

One of them is Karang Taruna Village Morang which is a forum that has a function as guidance and development of the village's economic potential. The youth organization in Village Morang has a superior program in the form of pekan ambyar. However, the lack of understanding and knowledge in terms of organization, administration, and finance meant that this program was limited to planning. This makes the reason for the need to strengthen youth organizations. The method used in community service programs is in the form of community education training in the form of an understanding of organization, administration, and finance. The results achieved in this activity were that youth organizations could understand in terms of organization, administration, and financial aspects.
