Abstract The control of the electrical system through a one-dimensional photonic crystal structure is realized in this paper. Here, the electrical system deals with the single-phase induction motor, where the photonic structure is manipulated with the silicon-based monochromatic optical filter. Further, the physics and mathematics of the proposed filter deal with the reflectance characteristics and plane wave expansion method respectively. Moreover, the principle of speed control in the induction motor relies on the simulation outcomes of the photonic filters which communicate the motor through a visible link using a microcontroller along with a ZCD (zero crossing detector) which decides the firing angle of the triggering circuit. Both, Matlab Simulink and physical implementation shows the nitty-gritty of the system which can easily be implemented in real-life application.

A multilevel H-bridge dc–ac converter is an electronic device, the multilevel converter enhanced stepped output with less switches. This paper deals with H-Bridge multilevel converter it requires only few switches when compared to traditional method. So in proposed method using only few switches, and it requires less gate triggering circuit. Less switches will operates for certain period of time. The proposed circuit is simulated using MATLAB software in that fast Fourier transform test to find the total harmonic distortion. With the proposed method multilevel converter can be used in solar power applications to convert dc supply into ac supply, it produces less harmonics it will enhance life span of the motor and efficiency of the motor will raise because in proposed multilevel converter there is a less switches are used.

This research study deals with the Design and implementation of a Symmetrical Cascaded H Bridge Nine level Multilevel Inverter (MLI) based structure voltage supply device primarily based static synchronous compensator (STATCOM) using curved pulse dimension (SPW) modulation management techniques simulated in Matrix Laboratory. The main theme of this article shows the voltage steadiness within the facility mistreatment structure electrical converter primarily based STATCOM. Hence, replacement symmetrical standard structures STATCOM is utilized to extent support voltage fluctuations such as sag plus swell conditions with additionally to separate current harmonics, voltage harmonics contained by the gear method. The structure Static Synchronous Compensator is employed for the purpose of PCC. A Fuzzy logic controller is used for minimization of error signal and thus sending the pulses to the SPWM based triggering circuit for the multilevel inverter. The hardware model of the proposed system is implemented and results are verified.
