The intelligent inquiry system for metro electro-mechanical equipment faults based on the knowledge graph can effectively consolidate various semi-structured failure messages, and can provide users with quick, accurate and high-quality intelligent inquiry services such as equipment fault causes-researching and solutions-delivering, which could be really relevant to this research field and application areas. The recorded date which related to metro electromechanical equipment failures were in this research collected, consolidated and converted, so that these failures could be stored in our databases. In this context, various functions of the intelligent inquiry system have been implemented, including: natural language question analysis, language Cypher-based question and answer design, Naive Bayesian classification based on characteristic core words, and user interaction interface realization. The experimental results show that the system can effectively solve the problems related to fault handling in metro mechanical and electrical equipment, thus improving the efficiency of equipment fault maintenance.

The objective of the study is to evaluate the usability of SMS-Based Auto-Reply Inquiry System for Grades and Accounts. This descriptive study used a three-part questionnaire which was administered by the researcher. The usability questionnaire adapted from the USE Questionnaire used a 5-point scale composed of 30 statements. Convenience sampling was used choosing the respondents from the total population of 149 students of the CICS during the second semester of school year 2018-2019. A total of 45 questionnaires were retrieved and were used in the usability analysis. The usability evaluation results yielded a grand mean of 4.54 (Strongly Agree) showing that the SMS-based inquiry system is easy to learn, easy to use, useful, and satisfying. The results of this study show that pre-coded keywords are confusing for beginners but can be learned and familiarized by the users as they continue use the system. Further investigation should be conducted to prove that ease of use, ease of learning, and usefulness have direct impacts to user satisfaction.

Organizations need to keep customer data safe and secure to run their everyday activities more credibly, promptly, and effectively. They need to use, and hence invest in customer database software to achieve these basic goals. Using well-designed software also allows them to increase operational efficiency of business. In this chapter, the authors discuss development of a customer inquiry database system for use by small businesses. The proposed database system is to help them store customer information, inquiries, and company product information too. The authors have used state-of-the-art software development technology to design and develop user interfaces (UI) for building business intelligence (BI) capability using this system. This chapter provides a holistic view of building a customer inquiry database system. The approach of an integrated view of customer inquiry system is different and offers more than the partial view of the existing literature or database system books on this issue.
