A Rapid Search Method for Scheduling Delivery of Multiple Automated Guided Vehicles

In this study, a method was developed to address the automated guided vehicle (AGV) transportation scheduling problem. For deliveries in factories and warehouses, it is necessary to quickly plan a feasible transportation schedule without delay within a specified time. This study focused on obtaining a transport schedule without delay from the specified time while maintaining the search for a better solution during the execution of the transport task. Accordingly, a method was developed for constructing a solution with a two-dimensional array of delivery tasks for each AGV, arranged in the order in which they are executed, as well as for searching for a schedule by performing exchange and insertion operations. For the exchange and insertion, a method that considers the connectivity between the end point of a task and the start point of the next task was adopted. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed method, numerical simulations were performed assuming an actual transportation task.

A Lagrangian Backward Air Parcel Trajectories Clustering Framework

Many studies concerning atmosphere moisture paths use Lagrangian backward air parcel trajectories to determine the humidity sources for specific locations. Automatically grouping trajectories according to their geographical position simplifies and speeds up their analysis. In this paper, we propose a framework for clustering Lagrangian backward air parcel trajectories, from trajectory generation to cluster accuracy evaluation. We employ a novel clustering algorithm, called DenLAC, to cluster troposphere air currents trajectories. Our main contribution is representing trajectories as a one-dimensional array consisting of each trajectory’s points position vector directions. We empirically test our pipeline by employing it on several Lagrangian backward trajectories initiated from Břeclav District, Czech Republic.

In the title compound, [CdNi(C9H8N2)2(CN)4] n , the Cd and Ni atoms both lie on centres of inversion in space group P21/c. The Cd atom is coordinated by two bidentate quinolin-8-amine ligands and by the N atoms of two cyano ligands, while the square planar Ni atom is coordinated by the C atoms of four cyano ligands. These units form a one-dimensional coordination polymer containing an (–NC—Ni—CN—Cd–) n backbone, and the coordination polymer chains are linked into a three-dimensional array by a combination of N—H...N and C—H...N hydrogen bonds, augmented by a π–π stacking interaction.
