The purpose of this study is to analyze the differences in learning outcomes and to analyze the effectiveness of the use of evaluation tools on learning outcomes in State Expenditure Revenue Budget and Regional Expenditure Budget materials toward students in science class XI. Because there is a decrease in student learning outcomes during distance learning so that, this study utilizes experimental research that uses a nonequivalent control group design, with a population of 170 students with majors in Science. In selecting the sample, researcher uses purposive sampling technique with Science class XI 3 as the experimental class and Science class XI 4 as the control class, but the only difference in the experimental class is given as additional evaluation tools. This study utilizes hypothetical test of pre-test value and post-test with One Way Anova. Based on these results, in the use of evaluation tools there was no significant difference in student learning outcomes in State Expenditure Revenue Budget and Regional Expenditure Budget materials toward students in science class XI and the use of evaluation tools had effectiveness as a support for improving learning outcomes with State Expenditure Revenue Budget and Regional Expenditure Budget materials toward student ins science class XI

Handover of Critical Patients in Urgent Care and Emergency Settings: A Systematic Review of Validated Assessment Tools

The emergency handover of critical patients is used to describe the moment when responsibility for the care of a patient is transferred from one critical patient care healthcare team to another, requiring the accurate delivery of information. However, the literature provides few validated assessment tools for the transfer of critical patients in urgent care and emergency settings. To identify the available evaluation tools that assess the handover of critical patients in urgent and emergency care settings in addition to evaluations of their psychometric properties, a systematic review was carried out using PubMed, Scopus, Cinahl, Web of Science (WoS), and PsycINFO, in accordance with PRISMA guidelines. The quality of the studies was assessed using the COSMIN checklist. Finally, eight articles were identified, of which only three included validated tools for evaluating the handover of critical patients in emergency care. Content validity, construct validity, and internal consistency were the most studied psychometric properties. Three studies evaluated error and reliability, criterion validity, hypothesis testing, and sensitivity. None of them considered cross-cultural adaptation or the translation process. This systematic psychometric review shows the existing ambiguities in the handover of critically ill patients and the scarcity of validated evaluation tools. For all of these reasons, we consider it necessary to further investigate urgent care and emergency handover settings through the design and validation of an assessment tool.

Development of Student Worksheets Based on a Multi-Representation Approach to Improve Students' Mastery of Sound Wave Concepts

This development research aims to produce a product in the form of student worksheets based on a multi-representation approach to improve students' mastery of the sound wave concept that is valid, and effective. The product developed is student worksheets. The research design used is a 4D model consisting of Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. Data collection techniques used validation sheets and concept mastery evaluation tools. Device validity data were analyzed using a Likert scale. Product effectiveness data were analyzed using Gain standards. Product validity was assessed by three expert validators and three practitioner validators. The assessment by the expert validator is 3.50 and by the practitioner validator it is 3.70 with valid criteria. The average result of the N Gain test for mastery of Sound Wave concepts is 0.73 in the high category. So, it can be concluded that student worksheets based on a multi-representation approach to improve students' mastery of sound wave concepts are valid and effective

The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic caused a surge in enrollments in online courses. Consequently, this boost in numbers of students affected teachers ability to evaluate exercises and resolve doubts. In this context, tools designed to evaluate and provide feedback on code solutions can be used in programming courses to reduce teachers workload. Nonetheless, even with using such tools, the literature shows that learning how to program is a challenging task. Programming is complex and the programming language employed can also affect students outcomes. Thus, designing good exercises can reduce students difficulties in identifying the problem and help reduce syntax challenges. This research employs learning analytics processes on automatic evaluation tools interaction logs and code solutions to find metrics capable of identifying problematic exercises and their difficulty. In this context, an exercise is considered problematic if students have problems interpreting its description or its solution requires complex programming structures like loops, conditionals and recursion. The data comes from online introductory programming courses. Results show that the computed metrics can identify problematic exercises, as well as those that are being challenging.
