Community Service (PKM) aims to foster housewives in Citra Laguna Housing, Batam. More than 50 percent of the housewives in this housing simply carry out the profession as a housewife without any other activities. Meanwhile, complaints about the inadequacy of household needs are very high. They want extra money to make ends meet. Through this PKM, the implementation method forms direct training and practice on making homemade ice cream products and selling them online or e-commerce. Implementation is carried out twice per meeting. First, fostering participants and practice on how to make ice cream, which was represented by 15 participants. Second, teach and practice buying and selling online through internet media such as through Facebook, Instagram, and others (e-commerce which is familiar among housewives). The results during the two meetings are as follows: 1. Housewives mastered how to make ice cream products with satisfactory results. 2. Housewives know how to download images of products they want to sell in common marketing languages.

Digital Marketing for Village Tourism

The purpose of this service activity is to provide knowledge about the importance of digital marketing in the era of industry 4.0, as well as provide direct training on making videos as a medium for promotion. The object of the service activity is the entire Management of Omah Smart Farmers Tourism Object (OPP) Kandri Tourism Village and Tourism Awareness Group Managers (Pokdarwis) Semarang City. Service activities are carried out in three stages, namely the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation monitoring stage. The results of the service activities consist of the preparation stage in the form of coordination with the Head of the Kandri Tourism Village to find out the problems that exist in the Kandri Tourism Village. The service activity was considered successful, as evidenced by the implementation stage of all participants who were targeted to attend and were very enthusiastic in asking questions during the training. Many participants asked for advice in determining the right material to promote, and various tricks to get interesting promotional media. At the monitoring stage, the service team communicates through social media to find out the development of service activities. Pelatihan Kewirausahaan Pada Masa Pandemi COVID-19 Dengan Memanfaatkan Media Digital Bagi Para Remaja Lingkungan RT 04, Bambu Apus, Pamulang, Kota Tangerang Selatan

This community service is titled training to be an entrepreneurship in the Pandemic COVID-19 by digital media at RT 04 Bambu Apus, Pamulang, South Tangerang City. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide entrepreneurs training during COVID-19 pandemic by utilizing digital media to teenagers. The methods used are survey methods and direct material delivery, social service as well as simulations and discussions with teenagers of RT 04 Bambu Apus. The resulted of this activity is that participants received direct training to become entrepreneurs by digital media, such as: they can make their own shops in an e- commerce and be able to make product photography by utilizing materials around which are no longer used.

TERAPI BIRTHING BALL UNTUK MENGURANGI NYERI KALA I PERSALINAN PADA IBU BERSALIN DI RSUD KOTA MATARAM

ABSTRAKBirthing ball merupakan salah satu metode active birth menggunakan bola pilates yang membantu ibu inpartu kala I. Penggunaan bola pilates dengan melakukan gerakan seperti duduk dibola dan bergoyang-goyang, membuat kemajuan persalinan, memberikan rasa nyaman dan, serta meningkatkan sekresi endoprin disebabkan kelenturan dan kelengkungan bola merangsang reseptor dipanggul. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah memberikan penyuluhan dan pelatihan tentang birth ball. Metode yang digunakan antara lain ceramah/penyampaian materi menggunakan leaflet, praktikum atau pelatihan langsung kepada peserta serta tanya jawab guna mendukung pengetahuan ibu tentang terapi birthing ball. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian dibuktikan dengan keaktifan peserta dalam kegiatan ini, pelaksanaan kegiatan telah mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu bersalin dalam mengurangi nyeri pada kala I persalinan, dapat mengelola rasa nyeri saat kontraksi dan ketidaknyaman ibu seperti rasa cemas berlebih dan mengelola pernafasan serta dapat mengurangi sakit punggung, sesak nafas. Hasil kegiatan ini sangat berdampak positif pada proses persalinan ibu yang lahir dengan normal atau pervaginam tanpa adanya intervensi dilakukan tindakan Sectio Caesaria. The methods used include lectures/delivery of material using leaflets, practicum or direct training to participants and questions and answers to support mother's knowledge about birthing ball therapy. The results of the service activities are evidenced by the activeness of the participants in this activity, the implementation of the activities has been able to increase the knowledge of maternity mothers in reducing pain in the first stage of labor, can manage pain during contractions and maternal discomfort such as excessive anxiety and manage breathing and can reduce back pain, out of breath. The results of this activity have a very positive impact on the delivery process for mothers who are born normally or vaginally without any intervention by performing Sectio Caesaria. Do Caregiver Interventions Improve Outcomes in Relatives With Dementia? A Meta-analysis

Despite plenty of reviews on the benefits of nonpharmacological interventions for dementia informal caregivers, large-scale review on the effects of these interventions on the care-recipients (CRs) is lacking. We searched PsycINFO, CINAHL with Full Text, MEDLINE, and PubMed from inception to end of 2020 and found 144 articles that reported randomized controlled trials of caregiver interventions using CR outcomes. Interventions were found to reduce neuropsychiatric symptoms and mood disturbance, enhance cognition and quality of life, and delay institutionalization and mortality, with care coordination/case management, educational intervention with psychotherapeutic components, and direct training of the care-recipient (with caregiver involvement) being the more potent interventions. However, the effects were generally small to very small. Together with existing findings on caregiver outcomes, a tripartite scaffolding model of caregiver support is proposed. Future directions in terms of developing consensual guidelines, a registry of intervention manuals, and family-centered programs are discussed.

Walkability is an important measure with strong ties to our health. However, there are existing gaps in the literature. Our previous work proposed new approaches to address existing limitations. This paper explores new ways of applying transferability using transfer-learning. Road networks, POIs, and road-related characteristics grow/change over time. Moreover, calculating walkability for all locations in all cities is very time-consuming. Transferability enables reuse of already-learned knowledge for continued learning, reduce training time, resource consumption, training labels and improve prediction accuracy. We propose ALF-Score++, that reuses trained models to generate transferable models capable of predicting walkability score for cities not seen in the process. We trained transfer-learned models for St. John's NL and Montréal QC and used them to predict walkability scores for Kingston ON and Vancouver BC. MAE error of 13.87 units (ranging 0-100) was achieved for transfer-learning using MLP and 4.56 units for direct-training (random forest) on personalized clusters.

SP10.2.1 Use of a cost-efficient Colonoscopy simulation model to improve endoscopy skills

Aims The use of endoscopic simulators as a learning aid in surgical training has been well established, particularly in those with less experience. In the challenging time of COVID-19, when endoscopic procedures are at a minimum, this can become more valuable. However, their utility for training is countered by the high cost of equipment. We demonstrate a cost-efficient alternative to traditional endoscopy simultators, which can be easily made in any centre. Methods A polypectomy simulator model was created using a drain-pipe and surgical gloves. Junior doctors were timed in their ability to remove the 3 polyps from within the simulator. The exercise was repeated over 6 sessions over the course of 3 weeks. Means were compared using ANOVA. Results There was a mean relative reduction of 75% in overall time taken to complete the task (p < 0.0001). This improvement was seen for both surgical trainees with previous endoscopy experience (p = 0.005) and FY1 novices (p < 0.0001). Conclusions In our group, we have seen improvement in performance across both surgical trainees and novices. In today's era of COVID-19, when direct training opportunities may become more scarce, simple alternatives may become vital in ensuring progression of basic surgical skills such as endoscopy. This cheap polypectomy simulator can be easily re-created across surgical units and can be used as an adjunct to traditional endoscopic training.

SP4.1.1 The impact of the SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) crisis on surgical training: a global survey and a proposed framework for recovery

Background The SARS-Cov-2 pandemic had a profound impact on surgical services, potentially causing a detrimental impact on training opportunities. The aim of this global survey was to assess the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on surgical training and develop a framework for recovery. Methods A cross-sectional, web-based survey was conducted. This was designed by a steering committee of medical educationalists and validated by a group of trainees prior to dissemination. Results 608 responses were obtained from 34 countries and 15 specialties. The results demonstrated major disruptions in all aspects of training. The impact was highest for conferences (525/608) and hands-on courses (517/608), but less for in-patient care related training (268/608). European trainees were significantly more likely to experience direct training disruption than trainees in Asia (O.R 0.148, 95% C.I -2.443, -1.378) or Australia (O.R 0.097, -2.981, -1.678) (c2= 87.162 p < 0.001). Alternative training resources (webinars: 359/608, educational videos: 234/608) have emerged, although trainees expressed some dissatisfaction with them. The collective responses generated a five-pillar framework for training recovery: that involved; prioritisation of trainee and public safety; guidance from training stakeholders with the involvement of trainees; prioritisation of training especially the roles of senior surgeons/trainers; provision of access to alternative/new teaching methods and measures to address trainee anxiety. Conclusions Training has been greatly affected. The introduction of new teaching methods and focus on training after the pandemic are imperative.

Technological Aspects of Introduction of 8-Week Model at the Phase of Direct Training for Competitions of Highly Qualified Multi-Sport Athletes in Track-And-Field Athletics

The purpose of study was to develop and to substantiate experimentally the efficiency of the 8-week model of the stage of direct training for main competitions of highly qualified multi-sport athletes in track-and-field athletics. Material and Methodology. 5 highly qualified multi-sport athletes having a sports qualification of the Master of Sports of Ukraine took part in the pedagogical experiment. The average age of the participants was 25.2±1.79 years. The technological basis for introduction of combined events competitions of track-and-field athletes into the requirements of the 8-week model of the phase of direct training for main competitions was constituted by: an algorithm of the individual program for training multi-sport athletes for competitions, which reflects the consistency of actions for the purpose of preparing the athletes to perform given tasks; programming of the training process, which shows the directions of performance of tasks during specific mesocycles while taking into account the feasibility of the development of components of technical and physical preparedness and types of combined events competitions in track-and-field athletics; structuring the process of straining and recovery, which determines the permissible levels and intensity of training loads during separate sessions and microcycles. Results. We reduced the magnitude of training loads (up to 3233 min) and increased their intensity (up to 6.51 points·min-1) during the forming experiment at the phase of direct training for competitions, which allowed to achieve peak sports form and evoke additional resources in the organism of athletes. The introduction of the developed 8-week model of the direct training stage contributed to a statistically significant improvement in the indicators of physical preparedness of the studied multi-sport athletes in running tests by 2.3-3.1%, while it made 4.4-4.9% in the tests representing speed and strength qualities and 4.5-4.9% in strength control exercises (p < 0.05). The improvement of the results of most disciplines in the range of 1.7-5.3% (p < 0.05) confirms the efficiency of the developed 8-week model of the phase of direct training. Conclusions. Solution of specific tasks during final weeks before the main starts requires the establishment of optimum volumes of training work and load dynamics, combining training sessions with training loads of various orientation and magnitude, using rest and recovery means as a whole complex, ensuring operative and current control over the course of recovery and adaptation processes. Taking the aforementioned problems into account, we have developed an 8-week model at the phase of direct training for competitions, in which three mesocycles were determined with strictly defined tasks and corresponding training content.
