Nowadays, due to the complex family economic problems, it is the reason for a wife to become a TKW abroad to improve the family's economy. This study aimed to determine the psychological analysis of Islamic families on the communication patterns of TKW families and to find out the psychological analysis of Islamic families on conflict resolution in TKW families from Gajah Village Ponorogo. The method used a qualitative method with data collection techniques with interviews and documentation. The results showed that the communication pattern of the TKW families in Gajah Village was by the Qur'an about communication ethics, namely: trustworthy, not lying, and fair. Conflict resolution in realizing a harmonious family in the TKW family in Gajah Village uses four conflict resolutions contained in QS an-Nisa' verse 35, namely: al-Ma'ruf (tenderness and harmony between husband and wife), al-Ma'ruf (tenderness and harmony between husband and wife), al-Sabru (patience), Tahammul al-Ada (freedom in conveying and receiving partner's opinion) and al-Wa'zu (advice).

Resolusi Konflik Terhadap Pesta Demokrasi (Analisis Sosio-Politik Pemilihan Kepala Daerah di Bulukumba)

Elections for Regional Heads always experience the complexity of problems that lead to prolonged social conflicts without massive evaluation to minimize them. Not a few also happened, which involved various society and government institutions that participated in the contest. The research objective was to analyze and find the resolution of conflicts in Bulukumba Regency due to the democratic party of the Regional Head General Election. The research method is presented in a descriptive qualitative form with a case study approach. Primary and secondary data sources with data collection techniques, observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis was data carried out through reduction, presentation, verification, and conclusions based on the data's validity. Among the conflict resolutions formulated, namely: a) local wisdom is the locomotive of peace to minimize social conflicts that lead to social disintegration. The implementation stage is a collective awareness built by the local community itself as an essential building for existing values and norms, b) The adaptation roles and of institutional functions in breaking down and applying rules is a potential superior as a latent function and a real function in preventing social conflicts that will occur, both micro and macro aspects that lead to movements preventive, persuasive and repressive role, and c) To suppress behavior deviant during the democratic party process, money politics must be stopped and avoided by the existence of associative relationships between the community and local wisdom values and the government through adaptive roles and functions. Rock-Paper-Scissors-Hammer: A Tie-Less Decentralized Protocol for IoT Resource Allocation

With the rapid development of the autonomous world, local decision making between devices is becoming important. This article provides a new paradigm (Rock-Paper-Scissors-Hammer: RPSH) that can reduce the number of conflicts or decision draws and thus increase the throughput of autonomous devices while reducing the kept number of records or transactions. The paradigm requires a sealed envelope protocol and sequential message passing between both parties to decide unanimously a winner between the two participants without a third-party mediation. The message passing proposes a detailed record in a blockchain-like format that is not corruptible and is verifiable for conflict resolution. A simulated IoT environment is created to show the advantage of the proposed protocol and it shows significant reduction in mean efforts due to the elimination of draws or undecided situations. Autonomous devices, such as cars, need to maintain meticulous, lightweight, but blockchain-like record keeping for insurance settlements or conflict resolutions; that archival data size is significantly reduced by the RPSH protocol.

Options for Post-Election Conflict Resolution in Africa

Elections in most emerging democracies are generally characterised by irregularities which in turn fuel violent and non-violent expressions of displeasure before, during and after the voting excise. This paper discusses options for post-election conflict resolution with focus on African experiences since 2000. The paper holds that political and nonpolitical, local and international actors, play a dire role in ensuring that election-related insecurities are at least pacified. The paper assessed the constitutional, political and diplomatic alternatives to post- election conflict resolution. The paper goes further to examine the challenges that faced by African states in their exertion to deal with post-election conflicts. The study provides recommendations to inform the successes of the he post-election conflict resolutions in Africa. This paper establishes that most African states have lucrative legal frameworks on conducting elections and dealing with post-election unfortunate eventualities, the most compromise comes from, however, lack of political will and respect for the municipal ad international regulations. Furthermore, the paper realises that the continent, in some cases, lacks capacity and effectiveness on policy implementation to enforce electoral outcome or court rulings.

Postmodern conflictology: issues of theory and approaches to methodology

The problematization of the classical concepts in the postmodern philosophy has created some definite challenges that stipulate the development of the “Theory” in its interdisciplinary conceptual meanings and practical applications. The latter demands a certain “list” of the new notions and implies requirements for theorists to reflect the scientific diversity without reducing it to any kind of “theoretical unity”. For these reasons the purpose of this article is the conceptual reconstruction of the notion of the conflict in the specific postmodern context of its sociocultural, political and ethical meanings and senses. The methods of the research are mainly based on the principle of the anthropocentric paradigm, which stipulates the use of the interdisciplinary comparative-critical approaches and social construction methods in the general problematic field of postmodernism. While analysing conflict theories such schools of philosophy as existententialism, phenomenology and pragmatism are considered to be valid in the descriptions of both the actual conditions of the individual human existence and abstract human qualities. The practical aspects of this paper involve the empirical representation of the principles of the value and the sense in the problematic aspects of conflict resolution with the stress on the concepts of the discoursive communication. The obtained results allow to come to the conclusion that the most influential transformations are connected with such postmodern conflict problems as asymmetrical threats and unstable security architecture. The latter proves that the methodological approaches to conflictology should be evaluated from the point of presumably successful resolutions against the background of different spatial and temporal factors, which, in its turn, means creating new administrative modalities of conflict management. It should be stressed that in the context of the conflictological tendencies of the globalizing societies the special place should be occupied by the principles of K.- O. Apel’s discoursive ethics and M. M. Bakhtin’s doctrine of the “responsible dialogism”. Nowadays political approaches cannot be effective in the conflict resolutions without the classical ideals and the absolutes, without the impact of the Pathos, which means implied significance of the “relatively Utopian” ideas and their application in the conflict resolution, the potential possibilities of their realization in the conflict situations.

Gandhi’s Metaphysics as Encountering the 'Unreasonable'

In this article, I reconsider Gandhi's relationship to liberal democracy. I argue that a properly Gandhian approach to this relationship should emphasize the role of the satyagrahi facilitating conflict resolutions and progress in truth. Above all, this approach calls upon courageous, exemplary individuals to pass over and join the viewpoints of 'unreasonables' marginalized by the liberal state. However, I also argue that contemporary Gandhians should explore cultural adaptations of the satyagrahi-role appropriate to highly materialistic, multicultural liberal-democracies. In these societies, the traditional figure of the ascetic or saint may lack popular cultural resonance. Moreover, moral learning and spiritual insight often derives from popular culture and entertainment as much as religious traditions, or devotional practices. Contemporary Gandhi’s scholars should thus consider the prospects for 'alternative satyagrahis' embracing some materialist values and cultural motifs, as appropriate sources spiritual growth and soul-force.
