The present study was conducted to investigate the factors influencing food ordering on Zomato in Hisar region of Haryana. A survey was conducted on 100 respondents by using questionnaire as research instrument through online mode. Pie charts were plotted for studying behavior of demographic characters and bar diagrams were used for finding the influence of factors under study. The validity & reliability of a questionnaire measuring an attitude and attitude related aspects was tested with exploratory factor analysis and Cronbach’s alpha The factor analysis with thirteen observed variables (i.e., survey question responses) that was summarized in terms of two factors with Cronbach alpha values .930 & .902. Cronbach alpha for both the factors was greater than 0.9, hence questionnaire was reliable and strength of factor 1 was more with higher value of Cronbach alpha. It is concluded that offers, price, quality of food and delivery charges was effective variables with high factor loading.

There is a tendency on decreasing effectiveness on the use of intercity bus as result of relocation, this is indicated from passengers' reluctance for transit in the terminal. This research aims to develop monitoring and service evaluation indicators in intercity bus terminal. This research is to test quality of service factors out of 19 indicators. This research is conducted in Makassar Metro Terminal. The data is collected through survey to 350 passengers. Results of Exploratory factor analysis (EFA) classify the indicators into 5 factors, namely: Terminal Performance, Connectivity, Ease of Transfer, Operator Performance, Reliability service. Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) is used to confirm the formed factors. Results of the CFA show that the Connectivity and Ease of Transfer have quite high factor loading each of which is by 0,93 and 0,9 compared to 3 other factors so that two factors are the priority in improving terminal service performance.

The proliferation of airlines plying the international routes, triggered by the needed deregulation policies, has equally caused prospective air travelers to be constantly faced with critical pre-flight decisions, especially as they regard airline choice making for scheduled and on-demand flights. Considering the international bound passengers for scheduled flights at MMIA, this paper examines seventeen variables, wilfully or unconsciously thought-out by the passengers before choosing the airline to travel with. Factor analysis unveils that there are five components with Eigenvalue higher than the critical (1.000) and with an appreciable cumulative percent of variance (62.336 percent), indicative that there are five latent factors determining international passengers’ airline choices from a developing country. The Varimax rotated component matrix placed eleven variables with factor loading (>0.70) on these five factors. The paper concludes that the service quality of the full spectra of the airlines’ preflight, in-flight and post-flight services could be more carefully considered, maintained and regularly upgraded in order to attract and, or retain passengers.

This study develops an Athlete Performance Capabilities Index (APCI) model using multivariate analysis for selecting the best player of under twelve (U12).  Measurement of anthropometrics and physical fitness were evaluated among 178 male players aged 12±0.52 years. Factor score derived by Principal Component Analysis were used to obtain a model for APCI and Discriminant Analysis (DA) were conducted to validate the correctness of group classification by APCI. Result was found two factors with eigenvalues greater than 1 were extracted which accounted for 62.00% of the variations present in the original variables. The two factors were used to obtain the factor score coefficients explained by 35.72% and 26.67% of the variations in athlete performance respectively. Factor 1 revealed high factor loading on fitness compared to Factor 2 as it was significantly related to anthropometrics. A model was obtained using standardized coefficient of factor 1. Three clusters of performance were shaped in view by categorizing APCI ≥ 75%, 25% ≤ APCI < 75% and APCI < 25% as high, moderate and low performance group respectively. Three discriminated variables out of thirteen variables were obtained using Forward and Backward stepwise mode of DA, which were weight, standing broad jump, and 40 meters’ speed. Such variables were established as essential indicator for selecting the best player among male U12.

Purpose The construct validity of the Voice-Related Quality of Life (V-RQOL; Hogikyan & Sethuraman, 1999) measure was evaluated in a sample of 109 individuals who have undergone total laryngectomy. Method A principal components factor analysis was performed on participant responses to the 10-question V-RQOL measure. Results Factor analysis of the V-RQOL in our alaryngeal sample confirmed the presence of two factors (physical and social–emotional), which is consistent with the identified domains in the current V-RQOL. However, the current data indicate that some of the questions proposed by the original authors of the V-RQOL (Questions 7 and 9) do not align with their proposed domains in this postlaryngectomy sample. Conclusion The results indicate that some V-RQOL questions do not align with their proposed domains. Consequently, an alternative scoring algorithm may be warranted for alaryngeal populations, and the authors make suggestions for this change that are simple and efficient. Based on the findings of the present factor analysis, use of this modified scoring procedure may serve to increase the sensitivity of the V-RQOL for those who are laryngectomized and use alaryngeal methods of voice and speech. Consequently, the value and application of the V-RQOL may be expanded in the clinical setting.

The purpose of this study was to develop a rating scale that can be used to evaluate behavior patterns of the organization people pattern of preservice teachers (PSTs). By reviewing the related literature on people patterns, a preliminary scale of 38 items with a five-points likert type was prepared. The number of items was reduced to 29 after obtaining expert opinions and was administered to 620 PSTs. As the results of the exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, unlike two factors: structurist and free spirits behavior patterns, in the theory, we obtained the final scale of 15 items consisting of three factors: planners, solution-oriented and prescriptive behavior patterns. The related Cronbach Alpha value was found to be .830 for all the items. We identified that behavior patterns rating scale of the organization people pattern can be confidently applied to evaluate behavior patterns. Moreover, in this study, we obtained a contradiction between practice and theory. Thus, we provided a new idea related to behavior patterns of the organization people pattern.

Purpose of the study: Quality of work life (QWL) is vital for all establishments to continue to hire and retain high-performance workers. However, from the review of previous literature on QWL, little is known about the dimensions that constitute high QWL among academics. Therefore, this study aimed at contributing to the literature by conducting a detailed validation of seven dimensions of QWL through the Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) procedure. Methodology: This study employed a cross-sectional research design to establish reliable measures for the QWL construct. The items were adapted and modified to suit this study. Study data was obtained using a structured questionnaire from 100 randomly selected academics from the five Malaysian research universities. The study further conducted the Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) procedure using IBM-SPSS version 21.0. Main Findings: A total of 51 items were initially developed to measure QWL construct, however, from the EFA procedure, the study found that 8 items with factor loading below the cut-off point of .60 were deleted and 48 items with a factor loading above the cut-off point of .60 were retained and deemed suitable to measure the QWL construct. Applications of this study: This study validated the dimensions that lead to improved QWL. Therefore, this study is particularly useful to the Malaysian universities' management who aim to obtain benefits from super motivated and high-performance academics by making sure that the workers' overall well-being is protected in the workplace. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study established a validated and reliable instrument for measuring the QWL construct among academics in the Malaysian research universities.

The current research is an analysis on the quality of an instrument that is used to measure educator performance at a college in West Nusa Tenggara. The research aims to improve the quality of the instrument. Factor Analysis is used in the study. There are 3 measurement factors in the instrument, those are pedagogic factors (5 indicators), professionalism (11 indicators) and personality (3 indicators). The result shows that: 1) those indicators can be classified into two factors, formal factors and informal factors. Formal factors is institutional and structured, such as the indicators of subject matter delivery, the use of teaching method, the use of relevance example, and the use of learning media and tools. Meanwhile, informal factors is non-institutional, which tends to be emotional relationship or informal relationship, such as educators capability in creating pleasant and friendly classroom; 2) It is found that some indicators need to be removed because they have indicator values less than 0.5, for instance the indicator that ‘lecturers explain the relationship between the subjects being taught and other subjects outside that subjects’ is need to be removed because it has a similar meaning with another indicator that is ‘lectures explain the application of the subject in real life’.

Although the construction of public transport infrastructure is underway, the poor quality of the pedestrian paths may result in users being reluctant to use public transport. Therefore, a method to find out the walking path according to the user's desire to travel is needed. This study aims to determine the factors formed and the influence of socials-demographic characteristics on the desire to walk to and from public transportation stations in Indonesia. The statements contained in the questionnaire were made based on the walkability index that has been used previously in several countries and confirmed by factor analysis. The results of the factor analysis showed that from the 13 variables tested, there were 4 variables which were reduced until the remaining 9 variables formed 2 factors. The two factors are the convenience factor and the practicality and safety factor. socials-demographic factors such as age, gender, walking frequency, walking distance, place of residence, walking purpose, and monthly expenses did not have a significant influence on the pleasantness factor as well as the practicability and safety factor.ABSTRAKMeskipun pembangunan infrastruktur transportasi umum sedang dilakukan, kualitas jalur pejalan kaki yang buruk dapat mengakibatkan pengguna enggan untuk menggunakan transportasi umum. Oleh karena itu suatu metode untuk mengetahui jalur perjalan kaki yang sesuai dengan keinginan berjalan pengguna sangatlah diperlukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang terbentuk dan pengaruh karakteristik sosial-demografis terhadap keinginan berjalan kaki dari dan menuju stasiun transportasi umum di Indonesia. Pernyataan-pernyataan yang terdapat dari kuesioner dibuat berdasarkan indeks walkability yang telah digunakan sebelumnya pada beberapa negara dan dikonfirmasi dengan analisis faktor. Hasil analisis faktor menunjukkan dari 13 variabel yang diuji terdapat 4 variabel yang direduksi hingga tersisa 9 variabel yang membentuk 2 faktor. Kedua faktor tersebut adalah faktor kenyamanan dan faktor kepraktisan dan keselamatan. faktor sosial-demografis seperti usia, jenis kelamin, frekuensi berjalan kaki, jarak kemampuan berjalan, tempat tinggal, tujuan berjalan, dan pengeluaran tiap bulan tidak memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap faktor kenyamanan maupun faktor kenyamanan dan keselamatan.

Purpose This paper aims to assess COVID-19 (C-19) pandemic influence in the 37 factors identified from extant literature as factors influencing the viability of local construction firms (LCFs). Design/methodology/approach A sample size of 65 staff of 31 LCFs that were awarded construction projects contracts in institutions in Nigeria was purposefully selected and accessed based on relevant predetermined criteria. Respondents’ views on factors determining the viability of LCFs were obtained. Factors known to be influenced by C-19 are 25 of the 37 factors rated on a five-point Likert scale of importance by the respondents. Mean scores were used to rank the factors and principal component analysis was used to obtain key component factors (CFs) influenced by the C-19 pandemic. Findings Six of the first ten “extremely important” and “very important” factors are known to be influenced by C-19 pandemic. A total of 8 CFs having 20 variables with factor loadings of more than 0.5 each were known to be influenced by C-19. The C-19 pandemic influenced LCFs’ cash flow and management of construction labour, plant and equipment amidst variables that had above 0.8 factor loading. Research limitations/implications A limitation of this study is the inability to conduct close contact interview during this period to obtain personal views on the influence of C-19 on LCFs. However, this does not reduce the quality of findings of this study, as there are valid literature basis hinging this study findings. Practical implications The paper recommends that all stakeholders pay prompt attention to the factors adversely affected by the C-19 pandemic to improve or at the least sustain the viability of LCFs. Originality/value This paper fulfils a present pertinent need of assessing the influence of the C-19 pandemic on various factors influencing the viability of construction firms.

Educational Institution's Image: A Case StudyThis article presents our findings about the factors influencing educational institution's image. Based on the literature review we composed a web questionnaire which was send to all current students at University of Maribor's Faculty of Organizational Studies. Based on our research results we found out that eight factors influence educational institution's image which have various amounts of influence on the educational institutions image. The factor with the most influence is the quality of professors and of their lectures and the second most important factor is the learning content. These two factors come before all of the others in the matter of influencing the educational institutions image. Our basic recommendation is to build on these factors starting with the most important ones first.
