The primary motivation for this research, in which a qualitative method was employed, was to examine political apathy amongst students at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University. The secondary motivation was to question whether youth political apathy threatens the consolidation of democracy. The researchers arranged four focus groups at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University. A purposive sampling technique was utilised. All 50 participants in the study were Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University undergraduate and postgraduate black students, with ages ranging from 21 to 35 years. The researchers encouraged participants to have maximum participation in the focus group deliberations. The researchers also made use of elite interviews in the study. The findings of this study suggest that political apathy does exist amongst students at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University. Most of the participants in the focus groups indicated that young people in post-apartheid South Africa have no interest in politics.

Role of posyandu cadres in empowering the community of BintanPurposeThis study aimed to determine the role of posyandu cadres in empowering the community in Kawal village, Gunung Kijang district, Bintan regency.MethodsThis study used a qualitative method with a case study design and purposive sampling technique, with the cadres of posyandu. Data collection was done by in-depth interviews and focus group discussion (FGD), with triangulation of sources and methods.ResultsThe role of cadres are as a health motivator, with the extension officers of the health and medical services as well as cadres being able to identify the needs, barriers and help to coordinate in providing health services.ConclusionPosyandu cadres have high social spirit created by the combination of internal and external motivation, resources and potential as well as experience developing ability, with the social spirit capable of inspiring, activating, stimulating, mobilizing and motivating people.

Backgorund.Information technology can support medical record services in hospitals, especially in patient registration places. The implementation of this technology can be done by applying an online registration system. This system will be able to save waiting time for patients to register Purpose. This study aims to determine the implementation of the online registration system at Caruban Regional Public Hospital, Madiun District Method. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with an informant  of 6 registration officers and 20 patients. Result.. The online registration system starts in July 2020. The results of the interview show that the system has not been optimally used. Some of the problems are that many patients are elderly so they are not technologically literate, geographic location of the patient causes difficult signals, the patient's electronic devices, and the lack of socialization from registration officer to patients. Patients know only from brochures or banners, so patients do not know the steps to use the system in detail Conclussion. The online registration system at Caruban Regional public Hospital is not optimal because there are several problems, such as the large number of elderly patients, the reluctance of the community to try to use the system and the lack of socialization

Implementation of online learning with the application of the invention model increases perceptions between teachers and students. This study aims to determine the perceptions of teachers and students about the implementation of the invention model online in writing script learning. The research method used is a qualitative method using a case study approach. The population in this study were Indonesian language subject teachers and ten-grade students. The sample was taken using the purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques are carried out by filling out a questionnaire through the Google form and interviews with teachers and students.

This research purpose is to knowing the conformation of Mudharabah Agreement in the financing mechanism in Syariah Bank Surabaya based on the DSN MUI Decision NO: 07/DSN-MUI/IV/2000Bank Jatim Branch Syariah Darmo Surabaya. This research uses qualitative method with descriptive case study and purposive sampling technique. The data which is used in this research is obtained by semi-structured interview and the data analysis is using descriptive analysis modelThis research indicates that “Bank Jatim Syariah Branch Darmo Surabaya” in performing Mudharabah mechanism are acting in approriate with DSN MUI Decision NO: 07/DSN-MUI/IV/2000 properly. It is indicated with the implementation SOP product with Mudharabah Aggrement which conducted by the regulation of Fatwa DSN MUI NO: 07/DSN-MUI/IV/2000. It starts with the general provisions of Mudharabah Aggrement, pillars and conditions of Mudharabah Aggrement, and law financing of Mudharabah Aggrement. The implementation of this concept has been contributing much benefit to every parties involved.

Happiness is the expectation for every person including teenager. However, parental divorce may have impact on teenagers’ happiness. The aim of this study is to know happiness in teenager whose parents divorced. Data for this research were obtained using qualitative method with case study design. Subject was selected using purposive sampling technique. The respondent was a male teenager with divorced parents. Data collection was carried out through interview. The results showed that the respondent had three aspects of happiness are life is pleasant, meaningful, and engaging.

This study aims to determine the impact of fiqh ibadah (worship fiqh) material on the amaliyah (worship practice) of the 287 XII grade students at SMKN 1 Kinali, during the Covid 19 pandemic, because globally a third of the earth is experiencing the disaster. This research was conducted using a qualitative method with a case study design. All data were taken using in-depth interviews to fifteen informants who were selected using the purposive sampling technique. The researcher also took data through documentation and observation. All data were then analyzed by thematic and document analysis. Overall the results show that there are five kinds of mahdhah and ghairu mahdhah worship carried out by SMK students as routine activities such as praying, fasting, giving alms, caring for fellow humans, and improving religious understanding.

The development of information and communication technology (ICT) now is unstoppable. This condition had impacted the calung show development, due to people's appreciation has shifted and tend to like popular culture which is introduced by ICT products than the calung show. The issue in this study is how the development of the performing group calung Pitaloka as a medium of communication in the era of convergence. The purpose of this study is to analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, develop strategies, and formulation development of Pitaloka the group of calung show as a communication medium in the era of convergence. This study used a qualitative method with a case study approach. In this study determination of informants is using purposive sampling technique. The results showed that based on the conditions of Pitaloka the group of calung show currently they have more weaknesses than strengths, but they still have a chance even though the treat still exist from the outside, therefore the strategy could be implemented is to utilize the existing facilities and utilize the support and good cooperation with all parties.

The Covid-19 emergency outbreak was imposed by the Indonesian government, and the minister of education launched a study from home since March 2020. Learning is done online / in accordance with government regulations to break the spread of the epidemic. Then at the present time after going through the difficult times of the covid-19 pandemic, we are faced with a transition period before this outbreak ends which is known as the new normal which is required to get used to online learning. This study aims to reveal the problem of demotivating Arabic learning that occurs at Madrasah Tsanawiyyah 1 and 2 in district Gambut province south kalimantan. This study used a descriptive qualitative method and the research approaches used case study. The research sample was selected using purposive sampling technique, and the research data were obtained through observation and interviews. The results showed that (1) of the 10 types of motivation proposed by Harmer (2001), only 4 types of demotivation were experienced by students in learning Arabic at Madrasah Tsanawiyyah 1 and 2 in district Gambut province south kalimantan, that is demotivative because of conflict of values, demotivative because of lack of confidence, demotivative because of isolation, demotivative because of boredom.

<p>Nebeng Boy is one of the most popular YouTube content created by Indonesian YouTuber and an ex-Video Jockey from MTV, Boy William. This research aims to find out the code choices chosen by the participants of YouTube content “Nebeng Boy” and the reasons why the participants choose the different codes.</p><p>This research was a case study of sociolinguistics which employed a descriptive qualitative method. In collecting the data, the researcher has done a few techniques; taking notes from observing the conversation, transcribing the dialogues between participants, and classifying the data. The researcher used total sampling technique and took the whole part of dialogue from six videos of “Nebeng Boy”.</p><p>The results show that the code choices employed by the participants of Nebeng Boy are informal variety from Bahasa Indonesia and English. Each participant has different way in using the codes and also has different reason. The Host of the program uses informal codes to show solidarity, express emotions, show intimacy, changing topics, and including another person to the conversation. Meanwhile, the factors that the guests use the code choices are the background of the person, the profession, function of the conversation, topics, the situation of conversation, and to include another person.</p><p> </p><p> </p>

The study investigated about the correlation between mastery the vocabulary and fluency in speaking. Vocabulary is the words and exposes in articulation. Therefore, it is related to the utterances delivery fluently. The study applied qualitative method by using a case study. The researcher administrated observation and documentation as instrument of collecting the data. The instruments were carried out to describe the correlation between vocabulary mastery and speaking fluency. The researcher took 11 students as the samples of the study by purposive sampling technique. In addition, the correlation data in speaking tests were analyzed by using speaking assessment measurement systems. There were five times of observation sections. Then, the researcher also documented the final round of speaking test in class. The criteria of speaking assessment measure were; task achievement, fluency, language in use (i.e. vocabulary, pronunciation, and intonation), and duration. The result of the study showed that there are 3 students had score 41-60 (C in numeral core), 2 students had 61-80 (B in numeral score), and 81-100 (A in numeral score). In Conclusion, the result indicated that there is positive correlation between vocabulary and speaking skill. Vocabulary affected the students who fluent in speaking, and influenced vocabulary acquisition.
