Intraspecific aggression is detrimental to body/fin damage, physiological stress, and other problems in aquaculture. Environmental enrichment has been proposed to have positive effects on fish aggressive behavior, physiological stress, and fish welfare, but there are mixed results. Here, we examine the impact of physical enrichment levels (i.e., the intensity of physical enrichment) on aggression in black rockfish (Sebastes schlegelii) and fat greenling (Hexagrammos otakii). Generally, with the increase in the enrichment level, the frequency of the aggressive behavior of black rockfish gradually decreased. In contrast, a non-monotonous effect of the enrichment level on aggression was observed for fat greenling, with low and intermediate levels leading to no or more aggression, while a high enrichment level reduced aggression. After three days, the high-level enrichment groups in both rockfish and greenling reached social stability (i.e., a relatively stable social structure indicated by lower aggression), while aggression in the other groups continued increased. These results show the significant regulatory effect of enrichment levels on the aggressive behavior in both black rockfish and fat greenling. This study may promote the development of environmental enrichment measures, and it provides useful information for reducing fish aggression and improving fish welfare in aquaculture.

This study is entitled The Law of Playing Unknown's Battle Grounds (PUBG) Game According to MPU Fatwa Aceh No. 3 of 2019 (Case Study in Gunung Meriah District, Aceh Singkil Regency). This study describes how the factors and the impact of PUBG online game play and what is the view of the MPU Aceh on the law of playing PUBG games ?. To obtain answers to these problems, the authors used three data collection methods; Observation, interview and documentation. The sample in this study was PUBG online gamers in Gunung Meriah Sub-district, Aceh Singkil District. The results of this study indicate that 25% of the community of Gunung Meriah Liking and categories are addicted to the PUBG game. The main factor of playing PUBG games. Playing hobbies online, including PUBG, can reduce boredom and stress. Games that continue to be carried out have unfavorable effects such as tend to be more lazy, addictions that are not fair, less response to the surrounding environment. In Islam, banning PUBG games is in line with the MPU Aceh fatwa no. 3 of 2019, the reason for it is forbidden to use this one game, because it contains elements of violence and brutality and the impact of changing the behavior of users becomes negative; because it has the potential to cause aggressive behavior and addiction at a high level; and contains elements of insult to Islamic symbols. because it contains elements of violence and brutality as well as negative changes in the behavior of users; because it has the potential to cause aggressive behavior and addiction at a high level; and contains elements of insult to Islamic symbols. because it contains elements of violence and brutality as well as negative changes in the behavior of users; because it has the potential to cause aggressive behavior and addiction at a high level; and contains elements of insult to Islamic symbols.

The article describes the impact of technological devices – gadgets – on the early cognitive and speech development in children. In early childhood, object-activity communication is the leading form of activity; its influence on the speech development is determined by the interaction of the child with the adult (object-oriented actions, the understanding of the purpose of objects, the use of verbal communication). The play activity of preschoolers helps to enhance communication and interaction with peers. Long and uncontrolled interaction with gadgets is connected with insufficient attention of parents and caregivers, which disrupts the process of communication and cognition, in particular, slows down the process of speech development. Foreign pediatric associations recommend eliminating the use of mobile devices in children aged 0–2 years and limiting their use to one hour per day for children aged 3–5 years. Most researchers identify a connection between the long-term use of gadgets by preschoolers, delayed development of endogenus attention, social interaction, distortion of cognitive development, delayed speech development and such positive effects as a high level of exogenus attention development, quick response to external stimuli.

Considerable improvement has been achieved in the way in which exudative age-related macular degeneration is conventionally treated and in the associated visual outcomes and prognosis, thanks to the agents with effects against vascular endothelial growth factor (anti-VEGF). By comparison to earlier treatment approaches that involved the use of lasers, the anti-VEGF agents have made it possible to accomplish more positive visual and anatomical outcomes in cases of exudative age-related macular degeneration. Indeed, owing to their positive effects, anti-VEGF agents have quickly come to be considered the gold standard for the treatment of wet age-related macular degeneration. Aflibercept, the most recently approved intravitreally administered anti-VEGF, seems to mark another milestone in the treatment of wet age-related macular degeneration. This anti-VEGF agent presents a series of singular pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetic attributes that provide it a number of biological benefits in relation to the treatment of choroidal neovascularization compared to other agents. These attributes include high level of affinity for the VEGF-A factor, an intravitreal half-life of great length, as well as the ability to serve as an antagonist for other growth factors besides VEGF. The impact of Aflibercept on the manner in which exudative age-related macular degeneration is managed was demonstrated by thoroughly reviewing the related literature. The present review article highlights the pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, safety and effectiveness of this anti-VEGF agent as well as the landmark clinical studies that have been carried out to establish this drug as a gold standard in the therapy of neovascular age-related macular degeneration. In addition, studies regarding the outcomes and effectiveness of the various dosage regimens, either as monotherapy or in combination with other agents, are also reviewed.

Abstract Background: Fibromyalgia is a chronic and complex disease whose management by patients requires a high level of commitment. Patient empowerment therefore represents an important milestone in chronic disease treatment and control. We explored the impact of a peer social support network from the perspective of women with fibromyalgia. Methods: A generic qualitative design was proposed for the study, for which women who had been diagnosed with fibromyalgia were purposefully selected. Six semi-structured interviews were conducted and the collected data were thematically analysed. Results: Three key themes emerged regarding the peer social support network: (1) empowerment (it facilitated acceptance of the diagnosis and was a source of information); (2) effects on wellbeing and quality of life (it attenuated stigma, improved physical wellbeing, provided emotional support and was a socialization medium); and (3) valuable aspects (it transmitted feelings of being understood and listened to and it increased personal feelings of satisfaction). Conclusions: A peer social support network for women with fibromyalgia exerts positive effects on their physical, mental, and social wellbeing and empowers them to better manage their disease. Healthcare for women with fibromyalgia should include strategies that connect them through peer social support networks.

Olive tree leaves are characterized for having not only a potent antioxidant power but also effects on glucose and lipid metabolism. The impact of the individual oleuropein (OLE), vitamin E + Se (VE), or a combined supplementation of oleuropein, vitamin E, and selenium (VEOLE) was evaluated on pig plasma metabolites under fasting prior to slaughter. VEOLE and OLE had lesser n-3 plasma polyunsaturated fatty acids and greater monounsaturated free fatty acids compared to control. The n-3-fatty acid mobilization was directly correlated with greater cystine and inversely with oxidized glutathione/reduced glutathione (GSSH/GSH) levels. This faster use of n-3 fatty acids might act as an indicator of glutathione synthesis mediated by an increase of cystine in plasma. Different correlations and linear adjustments were observed between plasma antioxidant power and free cystine, free glycine, free glutamine, monounsaturated free fatty acids, and total n-3. The best response to stress was found in VEOLE. Cortisol reached the greatest positive correlation with plasma total n-3 fatty acids, which suggests a faster uptake of n-3 for biological functions such as stress control or energy supply in the brain. From a practical point of view, an enhanced oxidative status as well as control of physiological stress prior to slaughter by the combined antioxidants supplementation might have positive effects on pork quality.

The study used a qualitative approach to gather data from the participants through the interview and focused group discussions (FGD).  The participants consisting of 30 for the interview and 11 for the FGD were asked to answer the questions using a semi-structured, open-ended interview guide.  The results of the interview and FGD were carefully examined using thematic analysis. The results show that as to the level of awareness of the host communities regarding the different SMDP of the mining companies, there is strong evidence on the high level of awareness of the respondents as to human resource development, enterprise development, assistance to infrastructure development, access to education, access to health services; and protections to respect of socio-cultural values. As to the level of agreement of the impact of the different SMDP implement by the mining companies, the respondents confirmed the positive effects of these programs in relation to education, health, social and cultural, and economic indicators. As to the perception of the respondents on the sustainability of the SMDP, except for the completeness of documents available in the designated SMDP offices in the communities, the respondents confirmed and agreed on the sustainability of the SMDP in terms of stakeholder groups relationship; company financial and management capacity; and compliance with the legal requirements.

E-commerce has grown significantly in recent years. Although the factors that contribute to the implementation of e-commerce have been studied in prior literature, little has been done about the impact that the introduction of e-commerce has on both profitability and revenue. This is important because, as Solow (1987) points out, the information technology expenditures do not always allow firms to achieve a better performance. For this purpose, the authors use the data from the Spanish Survey on Business Strategies (ESEE). The research covers an eight-year period (2008-2015). 2,544 Spanish companies belonging to the manufacturing sector were analysed. Results show that neither business-to-business (B2B) nor business-to-consumers (B2C) e-commerce seem to have influence on the revenue growth. Therefore, a substitution effect may exist between the sales by physical channels and e-commerce sales. However, the authors have found evidence that companies which adopt a high level of e-commerce (B2C and B2C simultaneously) immediately experience increase in their profitability. Moreover, if firms adopt only B2B or B2C the positive effects on profitability are achieved in the year subsequent to that of the measurement of the e-commerce status.

This study aimed to reveal the importance of knowledge parenting’s insight and skills of non-violence in early childhood as a manifestation of concern for child development. Parenting occupies an important position in shaping the character of children in the future. It received national attention in the world (WHO), as well as in Islam Religion. The results showed that increasing aggressiveness in juvenile cases such as bullying, fights, and fighting now is the impact on the parenting treatment with a high level of violence aggressiveness when one of them was a child. Children who are at the age of chronic and require the model in each of his behavior often become victims. Thus, in the development of children vulnerable to becoming victims or perpetrators of violence. Keywords: Parenting Insight, Anti Aggressive Behavior.

Abstract. Our unit investigates the relationship of emotional processes (experience, expression, and coping), their physiological correlates and possible health outcomes. We study domain specific anger expression behavior and associated cardio-vascular loads and found e.g. that particularly an open anger expression at work is associated with greater blood pressure. Furthermore, we demonstrated that women may be predisposed for the development of certain mental disorders because of their higher disgust sensitivity. We also pointed out that the suppression of negative emotions leads to increased physiological stress responses which results in a higher risk for cardiovascular diseases. We could show that relaxation as well as music activity like singing in a choir causes increases in the local immune parameter immunoglobuline A. Finally, we are investigating connections between migrants’ strategy of acculturation and health and found e.g. elevated cardiovascular stress responses in migrants when they where highly adapted to the German culture.
