- A daily life situation in a residential seling is presented. There are two authors. The first, a nurse who is the coordinator of the seling, recounts a difficult episode which happened during a vacation with the residential patients. The second, a psychotherapist and the director of the center, comments upon what happened and proposes a theoretical reflection on the "private ethics" of the therapeutic residence, where difficult patients, professionals and assistive personnel live together for long periods of time. The close cohabitation leads to a certain inevitable familiarity between patients and the various care workers. This often leads to the workers becoming the targets of violent emotional reactions on the part of the patients, to which they respond the best they can, either by using tried techniques or by resorting to good sense. Knowing well, however, that the emotional resonance that certain episodes illicit, merits being adequately faced in supervision. A question which remains open is how to conciliate the possibility of travelling new roads with that of maintaining consolidated practice.key words: residential seling, care workers, cohabitation, practices, ethics

ENGELSK ABSTRACT: Charlotte Wegener: Does Innovation Discourse Restrict Innovation? The elder care sector in Denmark is one of the main welfare state areas in which innovation is on the agenda. Economic constraints, demographic changes including more elderly and reduced budgets are the arguments advanced by politicians and public opinions leaders for adopting a radically new way of thinking. If this does not happen, they argue, quality and ethics – and consequently citizens and staff – will suffer unnecessarily. The solution promulgated is innovation. This article investigates the ways in which the innovation discourse unfolds on the practice-based level – among students and staff in the elder care sector and at the social and health care college, which trains care workers. It examines the discourses among employees, managers and students who are supposed to be innovative and take part in implementation of innovative changes within their organization or in cross-organizational collaboration in social and health care and education. It asks whether innovation discourse facilitates innovation. The article concludes that the actors are engaged in the concept of innovation; however, there is a tendency to invest this engagement into producing more discourse. Meanwhile changes in the social sector proceed in parallel processes with no interaction with, or even in opposition to the innovation discourse. Key words: Public innovation, discourse, social actors, the social and health care sector.

Abstract The concept of ḥhubb is closely related to daily life. Anyone must have love. Whether it's love from biological aspect, social aspect, or theological aspect. This is one of the reasons why researchers choose the term ḥhubb. And the other reasons are, first, the word ḥhubb is one of the key words in al-Qurān that describes the concept of deed, whether it is the concept of worship, as well as the social concept beloved by God and it is important to be known as the sustainer of everyday life. Secondly, the translation of al-Qurān gives only the earliest description of the meaning of the word ḥhubb only to the extent of the meaning of love, thus requiring a deeper explanation in order to know its meaning comprehensively. So, this study will discuss about the concept of ḥhubb according Sahl bin ‘Abdullāh at-Tusturī in Tafsīr al-Qurān al-Aẓīm. He was known by a mutaṣawwīf and mufassīr

Abstract In people’s daily life, the existence of a market is needed to meet the primary meeds (food). On the issue of “price” and “shopping convenience”, people have a tendency to compare between the traditional with the modern market. In fact what is meant by “price comparison” here is relative because it is associated with the problem of “certainty” the weight or volume of the goods themselves are sometimes not noticed by consumers. On the other hand the government has provided a means to protect the rights of consumers with the consumer protection laws that may still not have been aware of its existence by the majority of the Indonesian people. Key words: traditinal market, modern market, consumers, and price comparison

Because of the enmity and even persecution of Protestants by the Roman Church and Roman states during the Reformation, the conduct of Protestants in Roman countries became a topical issue - indeed an existential issue of life or death. In these circumstances many Protestants tried to compromise their faith by partaking externally in the Roman rites, especially the Mass and parochial Mass, in order to safeguard their existence. The first of the Four Sermons (Quatre sermons, 1552), addressing this existential question, is presented as an example of the topicality of Calvin's preaching. Having analysed some key words in Calvin’s exposition and application of his text (Ps. 16:4-6) it is concluded (a) that Calvin puts the Gospel squarely in the midst of the daily life of his congregation, (b) that his accent on the body contradicts the popular notion of Calvin's “spiritual tendency” and (c) his rejection of the Mass rests on the biblical message of the unique atonement of Christ, once and for all.

This research aims to reveal religious and moral values in kaba (a type of Saga in Minangkabau literature) and rabab Pasisie (a type of percussion in Minangkabau particularly the one from Pesisir Selatan regency). The research is qualitative descriptive. The data, primary and secondary, is collected by observation, interview, and documentation. The interviewees are selected through purposive sampling. The data is then tested by triangulation of the sources, and then analysed using selection, reduction, classification, and presentation of data, which is later concluded. The result shows that rabab Pasisie is still fancied by the communities in Nagari Duku Kecamatan Koto XI of Tarusan District. The research concludes that kaba and rabab Pasisie embodies moral values that can be applied in the daily life of the community. We suggest that the leader of Nagari Duku Kecamatan Koto XI of Tarusan District promulgate the traditional rabab as a consideration to make it cultural tourism, while the Minangkabau society can implement moral values in kaba, and it is important that the district’s youth continue to learn and play rabab to maintain the traditional arts. Key words: Minangkabau kaba, rabab Pasisie, moral values, arts

- Today, fear and security have a more powerful effect on everyday life than in any other moment in history because the factors which should make daily life dependable are no longer reassuring. There is no single cause to provoke the feeling of insecurity, even when it seems to stem from a fear of crime. The causes are hard to recognize. Institutions respond to the demand for security but often concentrate on crime rates which are not always directly proportional to the level of perceived insecurity. Paradoxically, an increase of the perception of insecurity in everyday life can sometimes be the direct consequence of security measures. There is a risk that the citizen becomes used to being under surveillance and delegates responsibility for the urban environment to an external control.Key words: security, everyday life, urban space.

SummaryThe mechanism of air travel-related venous thrombosis is unclear. Although immobility plays a pivotal role, other factors such as fluid loss may contribute. We investigated whether fluid loss occurred more in individuals with coagulation activation after air travel than in subjects without. As a secondary aim, we investigated whether fluid loss per se occurred during air travel. In this crossover study, 71 healthy volunteers were exposed to eight hours of air travel, eight hours immobilization in a cinema, and a daily-life control situation. Markers of fluid loss (haematocrit, serum osmolality and albumin) and of coagulation activation were measured before and after each exposure. The study included ll volunteers with and 55 volunteers without coagulation activation during the flight. The change in parameters of fluid loss was not different in volunteers with an activated clotting system from those without (difference between groups in haematocrit: −0.6%, 95% confidence interval [CI]: −1.9 to 0.6). On a group level, mean haematocrit values decreased during all three exposures. However, in some individuals it increased, which occurred in more participants during the flight (34%; 95% CI 22 to 46) than during the daily-life situation (l9%; 95% CI 10 to 28). These findings do not support the hypothesis that fluid loss contributes to thrombus formation during air travel.
