The purpose of this study is to compare the multiple intelligence level of athletes participating in Inter-University Kick Boxing Championships in Turkey according to different variables. The universe of the study is created by 650 athletes from 65 universities that attended to the Inter-University Kick-Boxing Championship in Turkey (between 06-11 March 2018). And the sample of the study is 87 athletes who voluntarily accepted to participate in the study. In the study, "Self-Assessment Inventory in Multiple Intelligence Areas," which was developed by Howard Gardner, translated into Turkish by Saban (2002) and whose validity and reliability (α = 0.93) were made, was used as the data collection tool in the study. SPSS 20 package program was used to analyze the data. The normality of the distribution was examined using the Shapiro Wilk test. It was observed that the available data had normal distribution. In the analysis of the data, descriptive statistical analysis, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) that compares the multiple intelligence levels of the athletes according to the universities they attend, the Tukey test, and the Independent sample t test that compares the multiple intelligence levels of the athletes according to the age variable were used. At the end of the study, depending on the age variable, Linguistic intelligence (p = .663; p <0.05), Logical intelligence (p = .724; p <0.05), Visual intelligence (p = 0.900; p <0.05), Musical intelligence (p = .815; p <0.05), Nature intelligence (p = .450; p <0.05), Interpersonal intelligence (p = .713; p <0.05), Kinesthetic intelligence (p = .548; p <0.05), Intrinsic intelligence (p = .799; p <0.05) no significant difference was found between the sub-dimension levels and the ages of the athletes.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze the identification level of football fans with their teams in Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia Region.Material and method: General screening model, which is one of the descriptive methods, was used in the research. The research contains 944 people being the fans of 7 football teams (Yeni Malatyaspor in the Super League, Büyükşehir Belediye Erzurumspor, Elazığspor, Gaziantepspor, Gazişehir Gaziantepspor in the 1st League and Amed sportif faaliyetler, Şanlıurfaspor in the 2nd League) in Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia Region playing in Super League, 1st League and 2nd League during 2017-2018 football season. As the data collection tool of the study, ‘Sports Fan Identification Scale’ developed by Wann and Branscompe (1993) and translated into Turkish by Günay and Tiryaki (2003) with validity and reliability studies performed was used. 0.88 value was found as the Cronbach Alpha coefficient of the Sports Fan Identification Scale. The significance level was adopted as α=0.05.Findings: It has been determined that there are significant differences between the variables of age, marital status and the teams supported and the mean scores on identification level of fans with their teams (p<0.05) while no significant difference has been ascertained between the variables of education, job and income level and the mean scores on identification level of fans with their teams (p>0.05).Conclusion: It has been concluded that mean scores of fans on their identification level with their teams playing in high leagues are high and the fans’ level of identification with the teams has decreased as the lower leagues are considered.

The aim of this study is to investigate the risk taking status of the recreation department students. The universe of this study consists of students studying at the Recreation Department of the Faculty of Sport Sciences of Fırat University. The sampling on the other hand consists of 130 people who were randomly selected from the Recreation department. The risk taking scale was applied to 130 individuals studying the recreation department and the results obtained were evaluated in the SPSS 22 analysis program. The "Risk Taking Scale", which was first prepared by Weber, Blais and Betz in 2002 and measures individuals' risk taking in terms of moral, social, health, entertainment and financial aspects, was used in the study. The scale was shortened by Weber and Blais in 2006. The scale used in 2006 was used in our study. The reliability value (Cronbach's Alpha Value) in the study is .83. It is measured how much risk individuals are willing to take in five fields specified, according to the scale. After obtaining the research data, SPSS 22.0 statistics package program was used. In the analysis of the data, first of all, whether the data showed normal distribution was examined by Kolmogorov Smirnov test. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that the data showed normal distribution. Frequency %, Independent Samples T Test and One Way Anova Tests were used to evaluate the data of the study. The significance level was determined as P < 0.05 in the analysis. As a result, it was seen in our study that the values of the students studying in the recreation department were above average. In this study conducted on recreation students, it was found that there was no significant difference in terms of risk taking situations. It has been observed that there is not much research done on risk taking in our country. Most of the studies conducted were in the scope of adolescents. There has been scarcely any research, especially on sports and risk taking. For this reason, it is recommended to carry out comprehensive studies on sports and risk.

Background: Communication is one of the most important and indispensable tools we use at every stage of our lives. It is seen that the existence of communication in human life is based on very old processes. It is the process of transferring the feelings, thoughts and information we have to the people in front of us. It is very important to make sense of the communication process on a regular basis. Aims: This study is a descriptive study to examine the communication skills of students studying at the faculty of sports sciences in terms of different variables. Place & duration of study: The universe of the study consists of students studying in sports sciences faculties of different universities. There were 226 (male 124, female 102) students in the sample group. The Communication Skills Scale developed by Korkut (1996) was used to obtain the research data. Method: One-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), independent sample t-test and descriptive statistical analysis were used in the analysis of the data. Results: As a result, in the study conducted to examine the communication skills of the students studying at the faculty of sports sciences in terms of different variables, it was determined that there were significant differences in terms of gender. Conclusion: It has been observed that the students studying in the physical education teaching department have higher communication skills than the students studying in the coaching education and sports management departments. This study aimed to identify the kinds of multiple intelligence common among the College of Education students at Dammam University. The study sample consisted of (201) students specialized in Mathematics, Physics ,Computer Science, English and Kindergarten and the preparatory year of scientific and literary streams. Mackenzie Inventory for Multiple Intelligence (Mackenzie, 1999) was used, after confirming its validity and reliability. The study results indicated an acceptable ratio of multiple intelligence communality among the students of the College of Education at Jubail/University of Dammam regarding the communality of multiple intelligence among them. The most common kind of intelligence was intrapersonal intelligence, while the least common was musical intelligence. The communality level ratio of mathematical-logical intelligence, visual intelligence, linguistic intelligence, interpersonal intelligence (social) and bodily- kinesthetic intelligence were approximate. There was a significant difference attributed to interaction among students’ multiple intelligence, specialization, scholastic year and Grade Point Average (GPA).

Background: Mankind has been keeping away from physical activities with the inventions made by technological developments for years. Aim: In this study; The aim of this study is to evaluate the attitudes of individuals aged 25-45, who lead a sedentary lifestyle, towards active sports. Methods: The research was designed with a descriptive survey model, one of the quantitative research methods. The personal information form developed by the researcher by taking the opinion of the expert, and the "Attitude towards Sports Scale" (ATSS), whose Turkish validity and reliability study was conducted by Şentürk (2014), were used as data collection tools. SPSS 21 package program was used in the analysis of the research data. T-test was used for statistically paired groups, and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) tests were used for groups with more than two. Conclusion: According to the results of the research, a significant difference was determined according to the variable of gender and undergraduate status (p<0.05), whereas no statistically significant difference was determined according to the variable of doing sports (p>0.05). No statistically significant difference was found according to the variables of education, age, income level and Smoking-Alcohol use of the participants (p>0.05), while a significant difference was determined according to the family's upbringing variable (p<0.05). As a result, it can be said that the findings obtained from the research and the results obtained in the literature are consistent. In our study, we investigated the attitudes towards active sports in sedentary individuals and compared with other studies, significant differences were obtained in the attitudes of individuals with a sedentary lifestyle towards active sports. The aim of this study is to examine the professional motivations of Physical Education and Sports Teachers. The study group included totally (n=300) 93 female and 207 male physical education and sports teachers working in; Erzurum (n=30), Yozgat (n=22), Kayseri (n=30), Nevsehir (n=56), Aksaray (n=22), Ankara (n=52), Istanbul (n=44) and Kirsehir (n=40) provinces. The research was made in 2017&ndash;2018 academic year. As a data collection tool &ldquo;Vocational Motivation Scale&rdquo;, which consists of 24 items, was developed by Ural (1996). SPSS 22.0 package program was used for statistical analysis of the acquired data and results were evaluated at p&lt;0.05 meaningfulness level. As a result of the research, it was determined that there was a meaningful difference in physical motivation of physical education teachers according to age and seniority, and it was determined that there was a significant difference when their vocational motivations were determined by gender.

Having the ability of lifelong learning is essential for teachers in the manner of guidance of the society. The aim of this research is examining the ability of lifelong learning of teachers. The set of this research consists 124 teachers who is elected by random sample method and works in schools of Ministry of Education. Quantitative approaches based on this study is descriptive research method of survery model. the "Lifelong Learning Tendencies Scale" was used by Coskun Diker (2009) as the data collection tool in the study,. It was determined that the scale consists of four sub-dimensions: motivation, persistence, lack of regulation of learning, and lack of curiosity, as the results of the explanatory factor analysis. The Cronbach alpha internal consistency coefficient of the scale which consists of 27 items was found as 0.89. The data were analyzed on the basis of gender, age, education level and seniority. SPSS 18. Package program was used to analyze the data. It was revealed that the teachers do not show a significant difference in all sub-dimensions in the Lifelong Learning Scale at the end of the study.

The aim of this study is to examine of the anxiety situations of catching the new type of coronavirus (COVID-19) in elite athletes. The research group consisted of individuals who actively exercise at the elite level. This study has parcipated 151 athletes. In order to measure the anxiety levels of the athletes, was used the New Type Coronavirus (COVID-19) Anxiety Scale (SYTKYKÖ) of the Athletes, whose validity and reliability analysis was performed by Tekkurşun Demir et al. (2020). The analysis of the data obtained was evaluated in the SPSS 23 package program. Athletes participating in the study were 99 (65.6%) team sports (football 26, basketball 7, volleyball 46, handball 20) and 52 (34.4%) individual sports (athletics 17, taekwondo 13, swimming 9, wrestling 9, tennis 4). The athletes participating in the study 73.5% stated that they exercise at home 7.9% stated that they did not exercise at all, 3.3% did exercise in the field and 15.2% stated that they exercised both at home and in the field. In study 42.4% of team athletes and 13.2% of individual athletes "The league should be registered as it is now", 9.9% of team athletes, 7.3% of individual athletes "should continue with the normalization process of the league and 13.2% of team athletes and 13.9% of individual athletes replied that “the league should continue at a later date and the competitions should be completed”. A significant difference was found at the p <0.05 level in the individual anxiety sub-dimension according to the team athletes and individual athletes. No significant difference was found in socialization anxiety scores. As a result; The vast majority of elite athletes state that the leagues should be vacationed or registered during the pandemic process and that it is necessary to exercise at home during this period. Özet Bu çalışma elit sporcuların yeni tip koronavirüse (COVID-19) yakalanma kaygı durumlarının incelenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmaya, elit düzeyde aktif olarak spor yapan 151 sporcu gönüllü olarak katılmıştır. Sporcuların kaygı durumlarını ölçmek için Tekkurşun Demir ve arkadaşlarının (2020) geçerlilik ve güvenirlilik analizini yaptığı Sporcuların Yeni Tip Koronavirüse (COVID-19) Yakalanma Kaygısı Ölçeği (SYTKYKÖ) kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin analizi SPSS 23 paket programında değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırmaya katılan sporcuların 99’u (%65.6) takım sporu (futbol 26, basketbol 7, voleybol 46, hentbol 20) ve 52’si (%34.4) bireysel spor (atletizm 17, taekwondo 13, yüzme 9, güreş 9, tenis 4) yapmaktadır. Araştırmaya katılan sporcuların %73.5’i evde egzersiz yaptığını belirtmiştir. %7.9’u hiç egzersiz yapmadığını, %3.3’ü saha da egzersiz yaptığını ve %15.2’si hem ev de hem de sahada egzersiz yaptığını belirtmiştir. Takım sporcularının %42.4’ü ve bireysel sporcuların %13.2’si “lig şuan ki haliyle tescillenmeli”, takım sporcularının %9.9’u ve bireysel sporcuların %7.3’ü “lig normalleşme süreci ile birlikte devam etmeli” ve takım sporcularının %13.2’si ve bireysel sporcuların %13.9’u “lig ileri bir tarihte devam etmeli ve müsabakalar tamamlanmalı” şeklinde cevap vermişlerdir. Takım ve bireysel sporlara göre bireysel kaygı alt boyutunda p<0.05 düzeyinde anlamlı farklılık bulunmuştur. Sosyalleşme kaygı puanında ise anlamlı bir farklılığa rastlanmamıştır. Sonuç olarak; elit sporcuların büyük çoğunluğu pandemi sürecinde liglerin tatil edilmesi veya tescillenmesi gerektiğini, bu sürede evde egzersiz yapılması gerektiğini belirtmektedirler. Ayrıca bireysel kaygı ve sosyalleşme kaygısına göre liglerin ileri bir tarihte oynatılması veya tescil edilmesi şeklinde görüş bildirenlerin kaygı puanlarının daha yüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir.

The main aim of this study is to determine what factors affect the attitudes of teachers working in the special education school toward their occupations. In this study, effect of teachers was investigated in terms of gender, teaching domains, sports branches and age. It was carried out with the participations of totally 40 special education teachers working in the body of Mus Province National Education in 2018-2019 education-training year. The scale of attitude toward the sportive activities of mentally disabled individuals was developed by İlhan, Esentürk, and Yarımkaya (2016) (ZEBSEYTÖ). Validity and Reliability working sample was used. SPSS 23.0 package program was used in the analysis of data obtained and finding of the calculated values. It was determined that data do not show normal distribution by performing test of normality. For this reason, Mann Whitney-U test was used for the pairwise independent groups, error margin was taken 0.05 in this study. Once the attitude scale sub-dimensions were examined, no statistically significant difference was found between the genders. When the sub-dimensions of attitude scale were examined, no statistically significant difference was found between whether the participants engage in a sports branch or not. Significant difference was not seen in the participants in terms of doing sports and age.
